On the high-speed train back home, with some free time, I'm jotting down a few thoughts, which also serves as a brief travelogue. The internet remembers everything; the first hand-drawn map of the Huihang Ancient Trail from 2003 or 2004 can still be found online! On August 19, 2026, I booked this Pullman Hotel in Beijing Daxing for a business trip. After a few hours on the high-speed train, I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM. The front desk informed me that no rooms were ready for occupancy and I'd have to wait an hour. Luckily, I booked an executive room, so I went up to the executive lounge on the 21st floor, which offers a free two-hour afternoon tea. Cindy, the lovely lady at the front desk, kindly escorted me up to the 21st floor and handed me over to a soft-spoken girl with glasses in the lounge before leaving. I ordered a coffee, had some fruit and pastries. After a short rest, a handsome young man with fluffy hair quietly told me my room was ready and handed me the room card. As I was about to head to my room with my luggage, the quiet girl with glasses thoughtfully reminded me that there was a complimentary buffet dinner from 6 PM to 8 PM. I went to my room to drop off my luggage and then went out for a stroll. Although Beijing was entering autumn in August, it was still a bit stuffy and hot. Back at the hotel, I lay on the bed for a while, rolled around, and then quickly headed to the lounge for the free dinner. When I entered the lounge, a few tables were already occupied. The dishes, though simple, were quite tasty. The dinner also offered complimentary alcoholic beverages: gin, rum, tequila, red and white wine, and iced Budweiser. This was great; not only did it save me dinner, but it also saved me a trip to a bar – convenient, cost-effective, and time-saving! I tried the tequila, and it tasted pretty good! After sampling a few Western spirits, it was beer time, and I started chatting with the fluffy-haired young man who had given me my room card earlier. He was a tourism major, a local, with good English pronunciation, and a distinctive hairstyle! As we chatted and drank, 8 PM, the closing time, quickly arrived. An elegant young lady gracefully floated in and, along with the fluffy-haired young man and the quiet girl with glasses, began clearing and cleaning the dining area. I casually asked where they were from, and she said Jiangxi. Oh, I couldn't help but think about the young ladies from Jiangxi; I heard that in some areas there, the dowries can be hundreds of thousands of yuan! It was a fleeting night, and these are just a few quick words. The hotel service was excellent, from the front desk to the lounge, and even the floor attendants who cleaned the rooms were all polite, courteous, enthusiastic, and thoughtful! I suggest adding some peanuts to go with the drinks!

The hotel is located outside the city, on Yizhuang Line at Yizhuangqiao Station. This line connects to Line 5 of the Beijing Metro. However, it's not far to travel into the city to tourist attractions by train, taking about 40 minutes. Calling a Didi to Wangfujin takes approximately 40 minutes. But the hotel's location is convenient, very close to the train station. Once you exit the station, you just cross the road and you're there. There are 2-3 restaurants next to the hotel where you can find food. If you want to go to a large shopping mall (with a supermarket, fast food, many restaurants, toy stores, gift shops), it's one train station away in the previous direction, called Jiugong Station. Room : Comfortable, wide bed, can fit large suitcases. : Booked a room with a window. Breakfast : Not a huge variety, but complete. There are noodles, salad, fruit, eggs, and various dishes that change. Service : Nice and always helpful. : Always see the maids around, they work all the time; every time I come out, I always see them. : They have very nice manners and are always helpful. Facility : Onsen, so comfortable after you walk for the whole day. I chose this hotel because of this. Price : Worth the money.

The ambiance was absolutely fantastic! 🛁 ▫️Service: The butler-style service was incredibly impressive. They remembered my preferred tea, and when they noticed I had a cold, they proactively brought me ginger tea. Even the slippers were custom-made. ▫️Breakfast + Pool: The freshly baked croissants were incredibly flaky. After a swim in the high-altitude, heated pool, wrapping myself in a towel that smelled of sunshine… This isn't just a hotel; it's a sanctuary in the city! 🌿 I've already recommended it to all my friends. For anniversaries or holidays, just book it without hesitation!

I stayed at this hotel for a five-day business trip, and it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to get to all my meeting locations quickly. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, consistent hot water, and was meticulously clean with no strange odors. The high-speed WiFi never dropped, and the spacious desk was perfect for working on documents. It was quiet at night, allowing me to get plenty of rest and recharge. The hotel also offers free ironing, copying, and printing services, which perfectly suited my business travel needs. The breakfast buffet was constantly refilled and offered mild, pleasant-tasting options. Anne and Xiao Hao were professional and not intrusive, and any issues I reported were handled very quickly. The facilities are well-maintained, and the overall amenities are excellent, making this a top choice for regular business travelers.

Hotel Pros: 1. The rooms are very spacious, and all the facilities are brand new. 2. The hotel breakfast is good. 3. The hotel staff are quite enthusiastic. Hotel Cons: 1. Since it's newly renovated, there's still a smell of wood. 2. The water in some rooms was not clean; the staff said it was due to pipe cleaning. 3. There were small bugs in the bedroom bed. They changed our room, which solved the problem, so it was probably an isolated incident. 4. Getting a taxi is inconvenient, as drivers have trouble finding the location. 5. The staff seemed understaffed, giving the impression they were overwhelmed. Overall, I feel the hotel is still in its development phase. Everything needs to improve further to match its luxurious decor.

After several busy workdays, I treated myself to some leisure time and a blank slate. As usual, I chose the Holiday Inn Express Yizhuang. I drove there, and check-in at the front desk was very quick. I had a freshly ground coffee in the lobby to kick off my holiday. The room was clean and tidy, and the sink had a water-saving device with just the right water flow – comfortable, energy-efficient, and a humanized standard worth praising. On a hot summer day, I slept wonderfully in the cool room – a perfect score. The tofu pudding served at the hotel breakfast is excellent, a must-have every time. Don't miss it! There are quite a few foreign guests, which shows its popularity and that they're doing a great job. Keep up the good work!

This was my first stay at Ji Hotel. It's a relatively new hotel, but the location is quite quiet, with restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. The room was on a high floor with good ventilation, natural light, and a great view. The cleanliness was okay. They gave us complimentary fruit upon check-in, and the front desk even upgraded our room. The service was nice. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Highly recommended.

The room temperature was 14 degrees Celsius, and I slept fully clothed all day! It's good that there was hot water. It's cold outside, and freezing in the room. Over three days, the temperature only warmed up to 21.8 degrees Celsius, even though the air conditioner was set to 31 degrees Celsius. Breakfast is about 500 rubles per person. It's the same old story, but still filling. Of course, they don't speak English. Everything is done through a translator.
