Warwick Properties in Brussels

The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the train station and a 3-minute walk from the Grand Place, making the location extremely convenient. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, from top to bottom. The decor is a clean and comfortable modern European style. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety, though not entirely to our taste. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

It was okay, the front desk weren’t the most helpful. Upon arrival I was told to pay a €50 deposit which could only be paid on a credit card or cash. When I then said I’ll have to go find somewhere to withdraw money I was told I can now use my debit card. Upon leaving they wouldn’t give me my deposit back via card and insisted on cash despite explaining I was leaving the country to which the front desk attendant said I can’t claim I wasn’t given a refund which felt like a motivated statement.  The room was okay, however the heating didn’t work properly and during a cold winter it wasn’t nice. There was a view from outside the window but not as nice as the booking page displayed it. Overall it was a fine hotel to stay at for one night however I would not be inclined to stay longer, next time I travel I will make note to avoid it.
