3-Star Hotels in Brussels

This B&B is generally okay. The rooms are quite spacious and mostly clean. However, some of the public facilities, like the coffee machines, are a bit unkempt. The staff's friendliness is rather below average compared to other hotels in this chain. All in all, it's alright, but not necessarily a recommendation.

The hotel has perfect location! It is just several minutes to Grand Palace. Superior double room was quite spacious, clean, and well equipped. The only downsize is that the walls might be too thin and noise of neighbors might come if they’re loud. Breakfast was absolutely stanning and definitely worth 12 EUR compared to cafes in Brussels where you can hardly get breakfast for that price. To sum up, the hopel is perfect option for the price you’re paying.

The location is super convenient, right in the city center, with a Carrefour downstairs and a large square just steps away. The room is quite spacious for European standards, a one-bedroom apartment, very roomy, and it has air conditioning, which is crucial for summer in Europe. Some reviews mentioned it was noisy, but we found it to be fine; it was completely quiet at night. The minibar was well-stocked, even with alcohol, and everything was complimentary, which was a definite plus!

The air conditioning has been generally out of order for a long time, according to the brief explanation given at the front desk. The room was stifling, over 30 degrees Celsius, and there wasn't even a backup fan. No apologies were offered, and they didn't seem too bothered by the situation. We had booked four rooms to be close to RTBF the next morning. Our French guests had a terrible night because it was impossible to open the windows due to the excessive noise from the road. It's a shame because the rooms themselves were very spacious.

The hotel is located in the city center, making it convenient to walk to many attractions. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby, offering a wide selection of international cuisines, and a supermarket for groceries, which is very handy!

The room has been renovated and is clean, with no particular issues. Shampoo and body soap are provided as amenities. Although I didn't notice any construction noise, the hotel lobby and other areas seemed to still be undergoing renovation. The entrance shown in the uploaded photos is the main one, but it's not always accessible. It's unclear when it can and cannot be used. If this entrance is unavailable, you have to enter through the affiliated Mercure Hotel's entrance. However, the Mercure's door is very heavy, and I couldn't open it myself.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right near Brussels' Grand Place – literally a two-minute walk away. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient. The room itself was surprisingly spacious, which is a rare find in Europe, and the facilities were great. Having a kettle was a huge plus for us. We stayed for two nights, and the steak restaurant directly across from the hotel entrance was amazing – delicious and not expensive, so it was incredibly convenient to grab a meal right outside. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!

We booked this hotel for 4 nights during our trip to Brussels. When we arrived early, the lady at reception was very kind and allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated after travelling. Later that evening, after spending the day exploring Brussels, we returned to the hotel very late and exhausted. That’s when we noticed there was an old blood stain on the bedsheets. The bed was also extremely itchy, and it felt like something was biting us during the night, although we couldn’t find any visible bugs. The next morning, we had to leave very early to catch a train to Luxembourg, and again returned late that evening. We informed the receptionist about the stained sheets, but unfortunately he was very rude and dismissive. He told us our complaint was “unacceptable” because we reported it late in the evening and should have mentioned it in the morning instead. In our opinion, he could have simply passed the issue on to the morning staff so it could be handled properly. What made things worse was that housekeeping made the bed the next day but did not replace the sheets at all the blood stain was still there. Our trip itself was amazing, but sadly, about a week later, both my girlfriend and I were diagnosed with Lyme disease after experiencing bites during our stay. We cannot say for certain where it came from, but our experience in the hotel room definitely raised concerns. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the poor handling of a hygiene-related complaint.

The hotel's surroundings are average, with many unusual-looking people on the street, but the location is very good, right next to the train station, and it's very convenient to catch a train. It only takes about three minutes to walk.

The photo of the tall glass building is very misleading. The actual building is not like that at all. Extremely small lif. It can only fit 1 big siitcase or 2 persons with 2 small suitcases. The room was actually quite dated. The white curtain in the living room does not look clean. We can see yellow stains. The electric kettle was not clean. I had to scrub it to clean out the white stuffs from it. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink. This was more like a airbnb than a hotel!
