Amazing
KKumaaaThis is the third hotel I've stayed at in Brussels, and it's by far my favorite. The location is excellent, just a four-minute walk from Schuman station, right near the EU headquarters. Before this, I was always staying near the central station, but this area is a world apart – no mess or chaos, and the security is top-notch, both in the neighborhood and at the hotel itself. It’s quiet with fewer crowds, which is a real plus.
Regrettably, I only remembered to take photos just before checking out. I booked the cheapest room type, but it was incredibly spacious. There was plenty of room to open two 28-inch suitcases without any hassle. The bed was huge too; two people could easily roll around without bumping into each other. All the amenities were spotlessly clean. The TV even had sports channels, so watching the World Cup in the room was no problem at all. The soundproofing was excellent; I only occasionally heard doors opening outside.
Within a 10 to 15-minute walk from the hotel, there are various food options. While not as numerous as in the city center, they more than suffice for daily needs. There are also three supermarkets nearby. And even though it’s not in the city center, getting to the airport, Leuven, Ghent, and Antwerp is incredibly convenient from here.
I have to mention that the hotel staff’s service attitude was truly exceptional. A big thank you to every staff member; they were always more than happy to help with any request we had.
The hotel lobby offers unlimited flavored iced water, and the lobby itself is very cozy, with a large comfortable area for relaxing. There's also a small bar where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. The whole environment is incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
Plus, there's a laundry room on the third floor. For just 7€, you get both washing and drying, which is a fantastic deal.
This great hotel deserves to be known by more people.
