Hotels in Yeongdo, Busan

The hotel was excellent. I requested a high-floor room at the front desk, and they immediately gave me one on the 21st floor. The front desk staff were incredibly nice. The hotel views were surprisingly beautiful, with the sea right below. There's even a dedicated observation deck right outside the hotel entrance. Across the street, you'll find the subway station and Lotte Mall, making shopping and dining very convenient, just about a 10-minute walk. Down the alleyway below the hotel, there are many restaurants, including BBQ joints and fried chicken places. There's a Starbucks in the building near the bridge with beautiful window views. On weekends, dozens of late-night food stalls pop up right below the hotel, and the food is quite good. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back.

The facilities were on the outdated side. There was no bidet in the bathroom, the water pressure was weak, there was no mirror outside of the toilet area, and the air conditioner was weak even when I lowered the temperature. ㅠㅠ Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and the location was good, so I had a good stay while exploring Busan.

If you are looking for a stay with a view in Busan, Hotel Adela offers some fantastic visual perks, though it comes with a few logistical ”hurdles”—quite literally, if you end up taking the stairs! Here is a detailed breakdown of what to expect. The Room & Amenities The first thing you’ll notice is the generous room size. Unlike many cramped city hotels, there is plenty of space to move around. The View: The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the stunning harbor view. Watching the bridge light up at night is a great way to wind down. Comfort: The beds are comfortable and provide a good night’s rest. Condition: While the room is clean, some of the furniture is starting to show its age and feels a bit dated. Facilities: Basic toiletries, drinking water, tea, and coffee are all provided. Note that the toilet and bathtub are in the same space (not separated). Climate Control: Be aware that during winter and early spring, the air conditioning is disabled. If the room gets too warm, you’ll need to crack the window to let the crisp Busan air in. The Elevator Challenge (The Biggest Downside) The most significant drawback is the elevator situation. The hotel only has three elevators, which is insufficient for a building of this size—especially since it is a popular choice for large tour groups from Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Peak Hours: Between 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, the elevators are perpetually packed. The Struggle: It can be so challenging to catch a lift that I actually had to walk down the stairs from the 15th floor to the lobby. If you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, this is a major factor to consider. Dining & Convenience On-site Eats: There is a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant on the 2nd floor that is definitely worth a try—the taste is quite good! Convenience: A CU convenience store is located right in the lobby, which is incredibly handy for late-night snacks or essentials. Breakfast Tip: I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast package. The restaurant is on the 24th floor, meaning you have to wait for the elevator to go up, and then wait again to get back down to the lobby to start your day. You’ll save money and time by eating at one of the many local spots nearby. Location & Accessibility The location is a strong point for shoppers and explorers: Metro: About a 7–8 minute walk to Nampo Station. Shopping: Very close to Lotte Shopping Mall and the famous Gwangbok-ro Shopping Street. Note: The building is shared with another hotel (North Harbor Hotel), which contributes to the high foot traffic in the lobby and elevators. Hotel Adela is a solid choice if you value a spacious room with a beautiful view and want to stay near the Nampo-dong action. However, the elevator delays are a serious test of patience. If you choose to stay here, try to avoid traveling in and out of the hotel during peak tour group hours! Pack your patience for the lobby wait, and definitely grab some fried chicken on the second floor!

The hotel boasts a convenient location, within walking distance of Busan Station and the restaurant district around the port. The rooms are clean, and the TV offers access to international channels such as BBC, CNN, Bloomberg, and NHK Premium. What surprised me was that, in addition to being a budget hotel for travelers, it also functions as a love hotel; the doors are double-layered, and condoms are provided as amenities. The lighting can also be adjusted to a moody red color. The front desk is a small window, designed to minimize conversation with guests. Since no English is spoken, you'll need to rely on a smartphone translation app. Although check-in was listed as 5 PM, I was grateful to be able to enter in the morning for free. It's not suitable for families with children, but perfectly fine for solo female travelers. It's clean and offers excellent value for money considering the price.

A very pleasant place. 💙 The room is clean and cozy. Amazing view and a wonderful bathtub 🪻 There's a really cool terrace on the 12th floor. The hallways smell wonderfully clean. 🫂 The room has a huge TV, a comfortable bed, a drying cabinet, a fridge, and everything else you need! Thanks to the staff for the great service; they even provided a beautiful champagne glass. 🥂 It's so cool that they have bath bombs at reception! 👌🛁 And Totoro the cat was a delightful bonus 🐈⬛ There's a bridge near the hotel (by the port) – take a walk, it's an interesting spot where people set up their camps ☀️

Too many tour groups staying there. And actually there’re 2 hotels at a same building, which make the elevator so hard to get in. Otherwise, the location is so good that is easy to go anywhere we want and shopping, dining are also convenient.

Since every floor is high-rise, the ocean view is great, and it is clean because it is a new building. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, but there is also a grilled fish stall run directly by a fisherman that serves breakfast.

It was really, really great. It was super clean, and the vibe of the accommodation is so lovely. If you are coming with children, I highly recommend the Family Room. It is spacious and comfortable. It was an accommodation where you could really feel the owner's amazing sense of style. 👍🏻👍🏻
