Hotels in Nampodong, Busan

Environment: I booked another stay here, and they arranged a high-floor room for me. Honestly, the view from the high floor is absolutely unbeatable. You can see the entire city of Busan, and for this price, such a great environment is truly amazing. It's also very convenient being so close to the station. Cleanliness: Very good, no major issues. Much better than many hotels in Korea. Service: Typical Japanese service. The 10 AM checkout and 9 AM breakfast cutoff are a bit tough, but after living in Japan and Korea for a while, you get used to it. Facilities: Toyoko Inn always has just what you need in terms of public facilities, like washing machines and luggage storage, which is great.

I spent a long time searching for hotels in the jalgachi area, and I am pleased to find a very good hotel with no major issues as far as I can tell. The location is really superb, close to both Nampo and jalgachi stations. The food around this area is good. Very good connectivity to every where except maybe Huaendae, which is a bit far. The AC is a bit cold but easily adjustable. I didn’t have breakfast here.

The toilet and bathroom are tiny. The shower water flows into the toilet area. While there's a kitchen, it's not usable, and there are only cups, no plates or bowls. However, towels are changed daily, and water is replenished. The front desk staff are very polite, and the housekeeping staff are exceptionally friendly. Aside from the strange layout with a lot of wasted space, the location is great, the room is new, the view is excellent, and the price is reasonable.

Take the escalator from Namba Station Exit 7 to ground level, and the hotel is about a 5-minute walk from there. The building is a bit old, but I had no issues with the plumbing or linens. I brought my own Type SE power adapter, which was good. The smart TV was a nice touch.

The facilities are great, and the room is very spacious – incredible value for money! It's super convenient for exploring Gamcheon Culture Village, White Sand Beach, and Songdo. It's less than 60m from Nampo-dong subway station, and right across the street, you can catch buses to Gamcheon Culture Village and White Sand Beach. BIFF Square and Kkangtong Market are just a short walk away, and Lotte Department Store is directly opposite. The only downside is the lack of a laundry room 😭😭😭, but everything else is excellent.

The facilities are new, and the view is great. The room has a washing machine, dryer, a simple induction cooker, and a water dispenser. The bathroom has a bidet toilet. The room size is also very generous. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location – right in the heart of Nampo-dong, making it very convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The front desk staff are also very friendly. Breakfast isn't provided, but there are plenty of options nearby. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and there isn't any special security control between floors, so they're all interconnected. However, after staying for five nights, I felt that it was safe enough. Overall, it's a great hotel with high value for money!

The most amazing hotel. Beautiful interior and exterior. Great views. Friendly staff. Lovely food. Gym/swim and great facilities in general. I will certainly be choosing this hotel every time I visit Busan from now. Amazing place to stay.

I forgot to take photos of the hotel, but it looked exactly like the pictures on the booking site. It's in a pretty central location in Nampo-dong, with a convenience store right downstairs. However, the building is mixed-use, with restaurants and other businesses on the lower floors, so it didn't feel very quiet or private as a hotel. Two of the three elevators didn't require a key card to go up. Overall, the facilities were roughly 3-star standard, but there were many impractical design choices in the room, and the cleanliness was quite mediocre. The front desk staff were friendly, but understaffed. They had to personally deliver items like extra supplies when called, so the front desk was often left unattended.

I booked this place over a month in advance, and it has a lovely modern-retro vibe, very cozy. The shower and toilet are separate, and it even comes with a Dyson hairdryer. The room feels different from a typical hotel room. On the ground floor is a coffee shop owned by the same person, which closes at 9 PM. You can use your card to enter and exit through the side door. Upon check-in, you get two complimentary Americanos (you can swap them for other drinks by paying the difference). It's very convenient if you're visiting Yeongdo, though it's a bit far from Gwangalli and Haeundae. Little surprises: 1. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower caps, etc., are provided. 2. The mini-fridge drinks and snacks are free. 3. A handwritten note and a creative cultural souvenir are gifted. Amenities: Convenience store: Across from the coffee shop. Shopping: Nampo-dong Walking Street, Lotte Department Store, Olive Young, etc. (10-minute walk). Restaurants: Many dining options nearby, and the owner also provides recommendations – check the check-in guide. Minor regrets: 1. The bed frame has sharp corners, and due to its placement, it's easy to accidentally bump into it. You need to be mindful of your walking path. 2. The separate shower room has no place to put clothes. I booked Room 2 this time; I wonder if other room types have a better layout. This place is very relaxing, perfect for a two-day getaway to clear your mind. The owner is also very enthusiastic. Afterwards, you can switch to another hotel in Haeundae or Gwangalli to enjoy the sea, explore attractions, and go shopping.

First time to stay in Busan Connect Ocean Hotel, I must say it exceeded my expectation & worth it! LOCATION: very accessible as in walking distance to major tourist areas such as as Yongdusan Park, Busan Tower, BIFF, Lotte Mall/Mart, Night Street Market, Jalagchi Market & more. Plus in front are the Bus Stations & Nampo station 2 exits from Busan Station. A lot of convenient stores nearby too. ACCOMMODATION: Love the hotel room layout, well planned, bed very comfortable, complete toiletries except for toothbrush & toothpaste they have a a machine you can buy, everyday they changed towels & fixed bedding, take trash too. STAFFS.: All staffs speaks English very well & very helpful too. VALUE FOR MONEY: Definitely worth it! Affordable & I feel very safe. ROOM VIEW: Has magnefiicient view of the harbour/ocean plus the bridge that looks like San Francisco USA. Plus the sunrise view every morning is awesome. I would like to thank Connect Ocean View Hotel for taking care of me during my entire 6 days stay. Also, for upgrading my room to Harbour View, always book either the Harbour View coz it makes you feel relax seeing the water & great views & lights. I’ll definitely come back in this hotel & highly recommended Again, thank you & I LOVE BUSAN!.
