Hotels in Haeundae/Centum City, Busan

Pros: The location of this hotel is excellent! It’s very close to the beach and surrounded by great food options, restaurants, and lively bars. Plus, it is within easy walking distance to the Sky Capsule Mipo Station, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. They also had small washing machine and LG styler. Cons: However, the hotel definitely needs to improve its cleanliness. When we checked in, the room was very dusty, and the towels didn't feel completely clean. The bathroom was only ”so-so” in terms of cleanliness. Also, note that the lobby is quite small. No toothbrush / no toothpaste / no booties. Some of the front desk staff weren't very friendly and struggled with English. Overall: Despite the housekeeping issues, we had a great stay overall thanks to the amazing location. If they fix the cleanliness issues, it would be perfect!

The apartment was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. It was small and cosy, yet spacious enough to open one big and one small luggage comfortably. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Trash disposal instructions were clearly stated in the guidebook, so be sure to refer to it. Do note that toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided, so remember to bring your own. Located in Haeundae, it takes about 30 minutes from Busan Station to get there via tax, but the area is convenient—close to the beach and the night market.

I am so happy that, I can.sleep in the big and comfortable room. The room is big and suitable for the traveler to travel around Busan and Haeundae . They also provide the cereal, drink and bread for the breakfast to boost our day, thank you

This hotel is located one street back from the main road leading from Haeundae Station to the beach. Next door is a convenience store, and the building is called 'Haeundae Avenue'. When you enter, the front desk on the left belongs to a different hotel. For Avenue Haeundae by The Solid Residence, you need to take the elevator at the back up to the 2nd floor and use the self check-in kiosk. (There are three elevators, and all stop on the 2nd floor. It's sometimes the case in Korea that one building houses two hotels.) If you have any questions or need to store luggage before check-in, room 202 next to it serves as the office. The location is super convenient, close to both the station and the beach, with a convenience store right next door. I stayed for 5 nights during the BTS concert period, so the price was a bit higher than usual. However, compared to other hotels, it was still a very reasonable price. The hotel had just been renovated, and some areas in the room had a strong smell. Also, it was disappointing that the cleaning of the floor and dining table was insufficient. All the hotel staff were kind. Only one person spoke English, but they used a translator to understand requests and responded politely. The room is well-equipped for long stays with a mini-kitchen, induction hob, microwave, (pots, pans, kettle, dishes, and even a washing machine – though no dryer, there is a drying rack), making it very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of instructions for remote controls and such. Even after using a translator, I couldn't figure it out and had to call staff for an explanation. There's no daily cleaning service during your stay, but if you ask, they'll collect trash and exchange towels. Otherwise, you have to go to the office to get towels, water, and toilet paper. Because there are two hotels in the same building and each room is managed by a different company, when I asked a cleaning staff member in the hallway to exchange my towels, they told me that my room belonged to a different hotel company and I needed to go to the office. Also, I booked a premium ocean view room, but this hotel is a bit far from the beach, and there are two large buildings between the hotel and the beach. As a result, only a small glimpse of the beach is visible between the buildings, so I feel 'premium ocean view' is a misnomer. Despite these minor issues, I had a pleasant stay thanks to the kind and attentive staff. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Busan.

Facilities: The air conditioning in the room was problematic. It worked fine on the first night, but started turning itself off automatically on the second night. Hotel staff came and told us to use the remote control instead of the panel, which temporarily fixed the issue. However, on the third day, the remote control also started restarting infinitely. Luckily, it wasn't too hot those days, so we didn't really need the AC. Hygiene: The room was cleaned daily, but the bed wasn't re-made. Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, right above Haeundae Market. Everything you need is downstairs, and the beach is just a two-minute walk away. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Haeundae subway station Exit 3. Walking to the Mipo Station for the Haeundae Blue Line Park Capsule Train takes about 20 minutes along the beach, which doesn't feel too far at all. Service: The front desk has a scale for weighing luggage before you leave, and there's also a microwave if you need to heat up food.

The location is absolutely fantastic! We walked to Haeundae every day for the past couple of days. This place is really cozy, with great attention to detail, very clean, and a very clear and practical layout. The washing machine and dryer are free to use, and the space is quite large – big thumbs up! There are also plenty of restrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen is huge! A giant refrigerator too. You can even cook instant noodles here~ As soon as you enter, you'll see thoughtful touches like earplugs provided (these earplugs are amazing! You can barely hear anything with them on). Plus, it's self-check-in, and the password and check-in info were sent to us early via messages, which was super convenient and thoughtful! Just follow the house rules, and you're good to go~ The staff (or maybe the owner? Not sure, haha) was also very polite and handsome. Wishing them great success!

My husband and I really liked the hotel. It’s in a great location—a 7- to 10-minute walk to the beach and about the same distance to the metro, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. There’s a convenience store right inside the hotel building; I went there a few times at night for a snack. The hotel is on a quiet street, so we couldn’t hear any nighttime noise. The room was cozy, too, but I was on a lower floor with no view; the window was far from the bed, and it felt like I was in a dark room with no windows or doors. It took me a while to get used to the dimness on the first day. The only downside for me personally was the air conditioner, which blows directly onto the bed. Maybe it’s not like that in all rooms, but keep that in mind if you also catch a cold easily from the AC. The lovely housekeeping staff left bottles of water for me by the door to my room even though my ”Do Not Disturb” sign was hanging there. That was so kind of them, thank you

Everything's great, the only downside is that breakfast isn't every day. When we checked into the room, it turned out we stinked of rotten fish. We reported to the reception and changed our number with ease.

1. **Location**: Not far from the heart of Centum City, making it convenient to get around. 2. **Facilities**: The duplex layout is great for three people. The shower and toilet facilities are good, and the refrigerator performs much better than those in hotels. Being an end unit, it was surprisingly quiet, even during a holiday, so we slept very well. 3. **Cleanliness**: This was the only disappointing aspect. We found three hairs in total (in the refrigerator, on the stairs, and on the floor), which led to significant pressure from my sensitive wife. 4. **Parking**: The parking spaces were a bit narrow, but there were plenty of spots available, and it was great that it wasn't a mechanical parking system. If the cleanliness issue is addressed, this would be an excellent value-for-money option for a family of three.

Overall, the night view was great and the location near the beach was a plus. However, I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't watch YouTube on the TV because of an error. I hope they check the TV. Also, it seemed like the master key was used, but the room wasn't tidied up immediately, and things were left as they were, which made me think they only clean after check-out. Despite that, I had a comfortable stay.
