Hotels in Gwanganri Beach, Busan

The location is superb, with a direct view of Gwangalli Beach and the bridge. These are apartments, so there is no cleaning service and you have to take care of everything yourself. Please also note that the hotel requires guests to sort and dispose of their own trash. As a suggestion, it would be great to provide large bath towels for the shower. Also, the glass balcony is currently covered with frosted film, so when sitting down, you cannot see anything. Ideally, the film should be removed; otherwise, there is not much point in having chairs on the balcony. On the positive side, the room is good, neat, and spacious. The furniture is nice, and there is a kitchen with everything you need. Overall, we liked everything, especially the location and the view. Thank you! We recommend it.

I arrived just after 3 PM and since there was no one at the front desk, I tried to check in at the kiosk. It showed that I had two rooms booked. It seemed like the system hadn't properly updated after I canceled one room and switched to a private ocean-view room about 10 days prior. A staff member came by, was very friendly and patiently checked with the owner, which was a huge help. I felt much more at ease thanks to her wonderful smile and demeanor. The customer service deserves a perfect 5 out of 5. There are two shower booths and two separate toilets. They don't lock, but since it's a women-only floor and you need a key card to enter, it wasn't a major concern. However, for 12-14 rooms on one floor, there's only one sink. Since there's no mirror in the room, if even one person is curling their hair at the sink with a mirror, you'll end up waiting a long time. There's no trash can in the room, so you have to go out to the floor to dispose of trash. There's also no tissue in the room, so you either have to bring your own or unroll toilet paper from the communal roll in the hallway. Disposable toothbrushes with toothpaste, shower gel, and shampoo were provided. The shower rooms were very clean, and I think Japanese guests wouldn't have any issues. My biggest concern was the air conditioning. The common floor area was air-conditioned, but my room was hot. I think it was just a fan. It might be unbearable in the summer. I stayed in June, and it was hot, so I kept my door open to let the cool air from the floor into my room while I got ready. The beach is less than a 3-minute walk away. It was a really good location.

The room was spotless! The owner was incredibly kind and even helped me with my super heavy luggage – I'm so grateful! The location is perfect, right by Suyeong subway station, just a few minutes' walk, which was extremely convenient. They even helped store our luggage until the evening after check-out, which was a huge help. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Busan! Highly recommended!

Big spacious rooms and fabulous sea view's are the stars here, it was also very clean and comfortable. However our first impression wasn't the best, as the reception area is not on the ground floor. There is a huge concierge desk (although we never saw it manned), where we spotted a phone and number for reception, which it turns out is on the 6th floor. Would suggest that it might be helpful for guest to be advised off that beforehand, as there was no mention of it in our confirmation email. We also felt that our room was rather unfurnished, there was a lovely reading lamp in one corner, but no comfortable chair to go with it, the only chair was a hardback tucked under a desk. There was a sofa off to one side of the room, which was nice, but you can't actually see the view from there, so we ended up asking for another chair so that we could actually sit and admire the view. They did provide a chair but it was a rather hard plastic one from the conference room. Feedback would be to take at all the rooms and seriously think about how they could be made more welcoming and comfortable for guests. We did have a fabulous view of the bridge and the nightly light show, so we did enjoy our time there, but with just a little tweaking it could be much nicer.

Great location and a fantastic view – perfect for catching the sunrise! It's amazing to watch Gwangalli Bridge at night with the lights off. If you stay on a Saturday night, you can even catch the drone show, but unfortunately, we didn't have time this trip.

The hotel's location right by the beach was fantastic, and the service was really satisfying. The hotel only occupied the third floor of the building, and while the cleanliness could have been better due to a few hairs and some dust, I was still happy with the value for money.

This hotel is located near Gwangan Bridge, which is very convenient. The room is not very big, but it’s cozy, clean, and perfect for relaxing and storing your belongings. As a tourist, we were a bit confused at first, but the hotel owner (an elderly man) was incredibly kind and helpful. He helped us call a taxi because we were going to take the Blue Line Sky Capsule. Even though it was quite hard to find a taxi, he kept trying until we finally got one. We really appreciate his kindness. Highly recommended! 💛

Not much to look at from the outside, but this little hotel seriously delivered where it matters. The room was simple but the service? Exceptional. I stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast alone deserves a standing ovation — a different spread every single morning with even the banchan changing daily. It felt thoughtful, intentional and the cook was getting compliments from other Korean ajummas staying in the hotel. Special shoutout to the night staff who went above and beyond — I was down with a cold and struggling to stay up to wait for my laundry and she literally told me to go to sleep and that she’d take care of it. True enough, I woke up to everything dried, neatly folded and packed in a bag for me to collect. Highly recommend this hotel. Would come back in a heartbeat! Photo below is my view at breakfast. Proof that you don’t need a fancy facade to deliver a genuinely memorable stay. Would come back in a heartbeat.

The street was good and the accommodation facilities were good because it was right in front of Gwangalli Beach ~

Even though I hadn't been there yet, I was a little worried after reading the reviews. But after checking in, I felt incredibly lucky to have found this place! 🥰 I arrived at night on the first day, and the front desk attendant was an 'ahjumma' (auntie). Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, I didn't have any negative feelings at all. 🧡 Stepping into the room, I was absolutely stunned by the view – the value for money is truly amazing! 😇 I'd definitely choose this place again. I also really loved the location. Walking to anywhere I wanted to go in Gwangalli didn't feel far at all. After watching the drone show, I could just walk straight back to sleep without having to squeeze onto the subway. I think you might even be able to see the drone show from the room, but I forgot to watch the 10 PM show, so I can't give you a perspective on that. 😅 There are so many good restaurants nearby! Turn right out of the hotel and then right again, and there's an Olive Young. 🧡 This is one of those places I absolutely couldn't find any fault with. I'd love to stay here again next time I visit! 😻 The room was very clean, just the right size, and had daily housekeeping.
