Hotels in Bulaq, Cairo

How should I put it? The staff were quite friendly and didn't ask for tips, which was great. However, the breakfast was really poor, and the dining area was tiny. You have to specifically ask a waiter if you want a fried egg or an omelet. The facilities are very old, but at least the hygiene was decent. The pool is very small and not great for swimming. There's no gym. On the bright side, the price wasn't expensive, but I wouldn't choose this place again next time. By the way, I won't be coming back to Cairo either...

I recently had the pleasure of staying in Cairo and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the level of hospitality was truly world class. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and warm, always going above and beyond to ensure every detail of the stay was perfect. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The interiors are elegant and beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with subtle touches of Egyptian character. What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. If you are looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Cairo, this hotel delivers on every level. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city who appreciates comfort, elegance, and exceptional service.

Right by the Nile, with great views of the river from the room. It feels very secure, with two checkpoints to enter and exit, and you even need to swipe your card after getting off the elevator to go to your room. Breakfast was good, a typical 'Western' breakfast, which makes sense as most guests are European. The staff are also very friendly. The room was clean, not huge, but very well-appointed.

1) Came for check in at 5 pm but still room was not ready. The reason given was I did not mention smoking or non-smoking room. 2) The bathroom floor was extremely old style and very dirty. 3) The bath tub had foldable glass doors which never closed completely and water fell on the floor everytime had a bath. 4) Therebwere totally 4 table/bedside lamps. 1 was blinking and the other 2 bedside lamps had a switch which only the hotel employees could switch on and off 5) Carpet was very dirty at some places. 6) It appeared they purposely allotted this room as I had argued about the room not being ready even at 5.00 pm 7) No toothbrush or comb or paste in the bathroom. 8) Priced so expensive but quality was not worth the price.

I’ve stayed at St. Regis hotels in many countries, but this one is hands down the worst. It might just be that the general hospitality quality in Egypt is lower. Photos don't lie: Upon entering the room, I found a piece of used soap left in the shower. This is absolutely unacceptable for a luxury brand. Terrible service: The female chef at the egg station during breakfast was extremely rude—I’ve never experienced such an attitude at any hotel before. I reported this to a manager before leaving the restaurant, but there was no follow-up whatsoever. Unprofessional staff: Compared to other St. Regis properties, the staff here lack basic politeness. The Concierge was particularly unhelpful and provided inaccurate information. They recommended the hotel's Egyptian restaurant but failed to mention it only had outdoor seating. It was freezing cold, and there was no indoor option. After being sent back and forth between floors and being told the restaurant wasn't even open yet, we were finally tucked away in a buffet corner to eat. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best.

First of all, the apartments are a very clean, elegant hotel, and it's very, very, very, very close to services, and the Egyptians walk, very, very, very respected staff, and a very friendly summit, thank everyone, and especially thank you, brother Mohammed Saad.
