Hotels in Zamalek, Cairo

This time I stayed in a bright historical apartment and the overall experience was quite good. The uncle downstairs is very enthusiastic and kind, making people feel at home as soon as they arrive. This is an apartment-style hotel, convenient location and good living functions. The room facilities are quite complete, you can open your own business, you can also use laundry equipment, which is a plus for long-term or family passengers. However, because it is close to the road, the sound of traffic at night is more obvious. Even if it is still affected by some noise in the middle of the night, the hotel also provides earplugs as a supplement. Overall, it is a good value for money, friendly accommodation choice, suitable for passengers who can accept some micro noise, pay attention to convenience and life functions.

Overall good. Clean and clean, the location is in the core area. Living independently. The key is placed in the box. The password homeowner will inform you. There are many quilts in the room. Can cook. There are many restaurants around. Very close to the Nile. The disadvantage is that wifi is not very good.

The Cairo Marriott Hotel has an old-money vibe and an excellent location in Zamalek's embassy district – it's quiet, relatively clean, and feels quite safe. There are plenty of cafes nearby, and all the gift shops and local specialty brands you could want, making shopping very convenient. Compared to the hotels I stayed at on the East Bank when I first arrived in Egypt, this one is much more convenient and comfortable. There's a subway station about a 10-minute walk away, which is great for getting to attractions like Khan el-Khalili – just three stops and less than ten minutes, much better than the hassle of a taxi. The room decor is an older European/American style, not very modern, but very clean. However, the Nile view from the balcony isn't as good as from hotels on the East Bank. I recommend ******* breakfast with your room, otherwise, it's $30 per person and not particularly lavish. The service was generally good, but there were some glitches. When I checked in, the key card didn't work, so I had to carry my luggage a long way only to find I couldn't open the door. I had to go back to the front desk to get it sorted, and they didn't offer any apology – classic Egyptian 'relaxed' attitude. Overall, compared to East Bank hotels, if I were to come back, I'd still choose Zamalek; it's just so much more convenient! Also, many people going to Marsa Matruh will visit Siwa. However, it's important to note that while Siwa is widely rumored to have a simple and honest local culture, there can be issues. I booked one night at Soléi old town, a hotel in the center of Siwa, through a certain platform. However, upon arrival, I was taken to another homestay-like place far from the hotel, with no hotel signage and terrible conditions. It felt like I was being scammed and was completely unsafe. The owner was incredibly despicable, knowing that the platform's ******* policy meant no refunds. He outright denied everything, wasting a lot of my time and disrupting my itinerary. Everyone should be vigilant when traveling, try to choose large platforms with refund policies and reputable hotels to avoid impacting your travel experience.

I won't expect much in terms of hygiene. The hotel's location on Ctrip is different from its actual address, so be sure to check the actual address carefully, as some streets in Cairo have the same name. This location is fine if you enjoy browsing antiques and art, and there are many good restaurants and cafes nearby. However, it's quite far from other places, and traffic is terrible; forget about getting a taxi during rush hour.

Возможно, мой отзыв будет не совсем объективным, т.к. это место не совсм туристическое. Будучи в командировке - меня бы всё устроило. В номере чисто, всё необходимое имется. Но мы посещали Каир с целью туризма и некоторые вещи меня не совсем порадовали: 1. ребята на reception по большей части не говорят по-английски; остаётся вариант переписываться через whatsapp; 2. долго смотрели на мою распечатку с trip.com - такое ощущение, что первый раз видят; 3. типичный обман - на фото в trip.com изображен самый лучший номер с лучшим видом из окна; нам достался не самый лучший - см. вид из окна во вложении; 4. на нашу просьбу заменить номер сказали что все номера заняты; при этом за 2 ночи я не видел ни одного постояльца; 5. под окном была шумная тусовка с музыкой примерно с 6 до 7 утра;

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Egypt! Even the cars entering the hotel grounds are checked by staff and sniffer dogs, which made me feel incredibly safe. The hot water for showering was plentiful and the water pressure was excellent! That's really important, and the room was very clean. The room also had two large balconies with beautiful views of the Nile. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is located in an excellent spot in Zamalek. The staff were professional and friendly and always ready to go above and beyond for the guests. The rooms had excellent presentation and were exceptionally clean. I specifically like to thank Nagla from the housekeeping team for her excellent service.

It was a great stay. The adress listed on trip.com is not correct. The correct address is 31 Ismail Mohammad Street. Mustafa was the person who picked me up from-the wrong address and  he was amazing during my stay. He was so helpful  in every single way. The place was just so nice, clean, convenient. We stayed at the hotel in early April for 5 nights. We booked a two-room suite for two adults and a 9-year-old child. The room is large, each room is equipped with air conditioning. Shower gels and shampoos were given out once on the first day, but I think they would bring more if you asked (we just had our own). The hotel was quiet, we didn't hear our neighbors (3rd floor). Breakfasts are normal, you won't go hungry, but don't count on normal coffee) The staff is friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent: Zamalek is probably the best area of ​​Cairo. There are several small shops, a pharmacy, and many places to have dinner nearby. In the evenings, we had a great time walking around the area. The metro station is very close, which we used all the time.
