The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and there was a complimentary minibar. The location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the mall. "I stayed in Egypt for a week by myself, so I didn't book a five-star hotel. From a 100-pound Airbnb to a 700-pound hotel, only this one and the 700-pound hotel had working air conditioning/heating, and the room cleanliness was among the top two 😥. The downside is that this is more like renting out a private residence (the owner lives there too), and the apartment building and surrounding environment are quite poor, so you'll have to weigh the value for money yourself. For solo female travelers, I'd definitely recommend a hotel instead. Also, I have to complain about the menu pricing. The same bottle of water costs 6 EGP (less than 1 RMB) at the downstairs supermarket. It's typical of places that charge domestic hotel prices without providing domestic hotel service quality."

"Excellent hotel! The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast (you could choose from two restaurants) offered a great variety of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the oriental restaurant on the hotel grounds. "The staff's service attitude was excellent. I accidentally left a ring behind when checking out, and I honestly thought I'd never see it again, especially being in a foreign country. But the hotel staff handled it incredibly fast. The front desk lady was also super warm and lovely. When I went to pick it up, the ring was in an envelope, and they even asked for my passport to verify my identity, which I thought was fantastic. The hotel also has a swimming pool, and I slept really well. The hot water supply was plentiful, and there's a bathtub. It would be perfect if you brought a disposable four-piece toiletries set when you come."

"I was upgraded to a suite this time, which is definitely a plus. The hotel's main draw is its safety and expansive grounds; the gardens on a hillside are a rare green oasis in Cairo's often dusty environment. However, the hotel is undeniably old, and the facilities are quite dated. In the suite, one of the wall-mounted AC remote controls had its casing fall off. The breakfast selection was also limited. On the other hand, the hotel's decor, with its sculptures and murals, exudes a strong artistic vibe."

"The room is very big, with one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom. It would be better if the sofa bed could be made in advance according to the number of people reported when booking the room. You can also cook (although we didn't do it). There is a refrigerator. The service is friendly. Take the elevator to the basement floor, turn right after the elevator and walk a short distance to the shopping mall."
