I absolutely loved my stay at Alwadi Hotel Doha. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything I needed. The location couldn’t have been better. Being right next to Souq Waqif made it so easy to explore the markets, restaurants, and cafés, and I never felt like I was far from anything. It was the perfect base for my first visit to Doha. My room was beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after long days of sightseeing, it was exactly what I needed. Housekeeping was excellent and kept everything spotless throughout my stay.

It was a very comfortable and convenient hotel during my stay! Located in Central Doha, Al Najada Doha Hotel Apartments by Oaks is a well-balanced base for both sightseeing and daily use, making it a safe place for Doha beginners. First of all, the location is the best. Souq Waqif is within walking distance, and you can walk to traditional souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It was convenient for sightseeing and shopping because you can walk while enjoying the local atmosphere.  In addition, there is a subway (Souq Waqif Station) within walking distance, and it was very easy to move around Doha city. Uber taxi is also easy to pick up and smooth to your destination.  Cultural spots are also accessible, and museums are walking / short distance. It was also good to be able to go to the National Museum of Qatar in about 10 minutes by Uber and Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque in about 20 minutes (the movement is back and forth in the weather and time zone, but it was surprisingly close impression).  The room is a large apartment type, and it is convenient for long stays and light self-catering with kitchen. The staff were polite, and overall there was a feeling of cleanliness and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The location is particularly high in word of mouth evaluation.  Personally, I thought it was ”a hotel with a good balance of location, convenience and comfort as a base for staying in Doha.” Recommended for your first trip to Doha and for sightseeing!

This hotel is fantastic, highly recommend it! 1. There's a security check at the entrance. We asked why, and it turns out it's a government-owned hotel, so they ensure 100% security. 2. It's just a one-minute walk to the metro station, right across a small street from the hotel. 3. Parking is free. If you're driving, you just hand your keys to the attendant at the entrance, and when you leave, you exchange a card for your keys, and they'll bring your car to the front. 4. There's free coffee in the lobby. Trying a date with coffee is highly recommended; it’s a very authentic Arabian experience. 5. It's only about 300 meters from Souq Waqif, making it incredibly convenient for dining and exploring. 6. It's also very close to the airport, about 20 minutes by metro with just one transfer. 7. Security is top-notch. We tested it, and if you lock the door from the inside, even a room key won't open it from the outside. The front desk staff were very friendly. When we were taking photos before leaving, they even offered to help us take a family picture. Although it might be a bit more expensive than chain hotels like Hampton by Hilton, after comparing everything, it feels incredibly worth it!

Good size room (I was told that I had been upgraded free?), bed is quite firm. 2 extra pillows in the cupboard 👍 nice). Very friendly and helpful staff. But, the bathroom is tiny and cramped. The shower water pools at the rear of the shower cubicle and does not drain - ewww. The carpet was not flat and easily tripped over (how hard would it be to relay it FFS?). Breakfast was barely adequate. (pizza for breakfast??). The location was pretty good - 10 minute walk to 2 different metro stations. If you are in Doha for the F1, it's ok because you won't be in the room much.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel, the atmosphere is amazing, location is super, great service and very friendly staff. Only improvement: Breakfast could be much better, could be more variation and there were some flies. Overall, we had a great time. Thanks for the great service🙏🏼

Service: From the moment I got out of the car, a bellhop took my bags and guided me to the lobby. The lobby staff were appropriately enthusiastic. Since I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, my request for a late checkout was granted, though not very generously, only for an hour at a time. Breakfast: It's a buffet plus à la carte system. The buffet selection was limited but sufficient. The fruit tasted mediocre, especially the watermelon, which was as bland as plain water. Considering it's the Middle East and fruits are imported, I can't really complain about this. The à la carte breakfast items were very good, especially the eggs Benedict, which were of a certain standard. Since there weren weren't many diners, finished plates were cleared away quickly. Room: It has the usual quiet luxury style and is quite spacious. They provide Le Labo toiletries, which is a nice touch. The bedding was very comfortable; the sheets and pillowcases were incredibly smooth, and the mattress was soft, allowing me to fall asleep instantly. However, the toilet is not a smart toilet. Also, if you don't specifically ask, they default to a lower floor. I had hoped to overlook the new Doha city, but due to the low floor, I couldn't see anything. Gym: There were no staff managing it (at least not during the hour I used it). Used equipment was left scattered around. Location: It's only 200 meters from the metro station, making it very convenient to get to the city center and the airport. You can also walk to Souq Waqif in the old city. This is definitely a major highlight. Summary: It meets a standard 5-star level. While it positions itself as high-end, it's not so exceptional that it's a must-stay. Of course, at a price of less than 1000, I can't really ask for much more. Still, for a Park Hyatt, I feel it could have been even better.

Perfect location in the heart of Doha! 🤍 Treffen House is just next to Msheireb Metro and walking distance to Souq Waqif — everything is super convenient. Rooms are clean, stylish, and comfortable. Staff are very kind and professional. I felt safe and relaxed during my stay. Highly recommend for solo travelers and girls traveling alone 💫

The Mandarin Oriental in Doha stands out from other MOs because it is surrounded by some very good dining and shopping experiences. On site there are a number of good dining options including Liang, Ambar, the cake shop, and Mosaic. We booked a stay here to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed our visit. The rooms are nicely appointed with sheer and blackout curtains for both the bedroom and bathroom. There was a small but very comfy couch and ottoman at the foot of the bed, and a small dining table/work area. We appreciated the quiet air conditioning that maintained a comfortable temperature during our stay. There was a lot of closet space and a large coffee/tea station including a Nespresso machine and large bottles of still water. The room was mostly clean but the table, night stands and shower needed some extra attention because there was debris left behind. The bathroom area is large and wonderful - there is a large bathtub and shower area, two sinks and some very good bath products. We booked a half board package which included daily breakfast and lunch or dinner. The breakfast has a small buffet and quite a few made to order options you can get to your table. The menu our first morning was quite extensive but it was unexpectedly cut in half our second morning and the staff explained it was because they were offering a full buffet but they only had about three more items in the buffet area compared to the day before. We found out at check in that we could only dine at Liang for dinner and the menu was limited for this promotion so we only had a few dishes we could choose from. As a surprise they did offer us a small cheesecake from the Mandarin Cake Shop and my wife really enjoyed it. We did go to the rooftop pool but it is very exposed and got too hot for us to stay too long. We appreciated that they gave us a small cooler with cold bottled water and came by to offer us some nice iced juices our first day there. There is a pool menu but it is a long wait for staff to come and they never came our second day. There is an indoor pool in the basement but you have to book a spa package or pay 150 QAR to access it even if you are a hotel guest. While the staff we encountered were genuinely kind and helpful we found the service inconsistent at times. When we drove to the valet to check in there were only two cars in front of us and many valet staff but we were oddly ignored, unloaded our car ourselves, and had to approach the valet desk. We checked in just after 3 pm and they only had one staff member at the front desk. It took about 30 minutes for our bag to reach our room so we would recommend taking essentials with you to your room to not delay your experience. We had a turn down service our first night while we were out for dinner but nothing the second night and we had to call for service including asking multiple times for more shower gel. The front desk was nearly impossible to reach after 7 pm but they did tell us during our stay there is a nightly turn down around 6:30 pm which they missed but they came at 8:30 to refresh the room. We also found out when we went to use the Nespresso machine that it was not working properly. The hotel is in an excellent location and is a short walk from Msheireb metro station to help access more of the city. Key attractions in Doha like Souq Waqif are within walking distance and it is not too far away from the Corniche, Museum of Islamic Arts or National Museum of Qatar. The valet service is free for guests of the hotel but has an initial fee and hourly rates so it can get pricey if you're not a guest at the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again. Great location and good food nearby makes this a very convenient hotel if you're looking to relax and spend more time enjoying your room.
