Hotels in Al Mansoura, Doha

This is a really good hotel, and I'd gladly stay here again. The room itself was well-furnished and laid out, with a small table perfect for eating and another that could be used as a workspace. We were surprised to find Russian TV channels, like TNT, and even Premier League football. After long days out exploring, it was wonderful to come back to the room and catch a match. The pool being open until 10 PM was a huge plus. It's a great pool, with a 1.8m deep section and water at a pleasant temperature – not cold at all. It's large enough for a good swim. Towels are provided, and there's a changing room. We enjoyed the breakfasts; we were never hungry. They had fruits like watermelon, melon, and pineapple. One day the coffee machine wasn't working, and the coffee from the thermopot wasn't great, but everything was fine the next day. The staff were responsive, and the beds were comfortable. Now, about the location. It might seem a bit far from the city center, but getting there is actually very easy, especially by public transport. Looking at the map, Al Mansoura Metro Station appears closer, about a 20-minute walk. However, it's much more convenient to use Umm Ghawalina Metro Station, which is on the Red Line. This is because there are free Metrolink buses that run from the metro stations to different neighborhoods. You just tap your metro card when you board, nothing is deducted, and it takes you to the metro. There's a stop for bus 118 right by the hotel, which goes directly to Umm Ghawalina. You can do the same on the way back. These buses run from early morning until around 1 AM, definitely as long as the metro is operating. It's incredibly convenient! On our departure day, we had a 10 AM flight, and we managed to have breakfast (which starts at 6 AM) and get to the airport using bus 118 and the metro. It was brilliant! Overall, I have only positive impressions of the hotel. Oh, and there's a 200 Dirham deposit. When checking out, allow a little extra time beyond just dropping off your key and saying 'checkout'.

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by Al Liwan Residence. The room felt more like a small flat — huge living area, big fridge, microwave, dishes, everything you need for a few days. I liked that the area was quiet, and I always felt safe walking around. The pool is not very big, but it was never crowded, so I could actually relax there. The only minor issue was that the water pressure in the shower wasn’t very strong, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout my stay. For the price point, I think it’s great value.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are OK, basically complete. Hygiene: The sanitary conditions are excellent and very clean. Environment: The surrounding environment is OK and convenient for movement. Service: The service attitude is excellent. Employee satisfaction is excellent.

The location is good as you can walk to famous sightseeing spots such as Musharaib Downtown and Souwaqif, and the nightly rate is not expensive, so it is recommended.

Where do I start such an amazing hotel the suite is well worth the price. The food is amazing the hotel management and staff are amazing. It’s all VIP experience especially from the moment you step into the hotel to time you leave Emmanuel who is concierge is truly amazing. Always happy to help have a friendly chat and give you options of what to do and things to see in beautiful Doha The hotel staff great you. Help you in anyway possible. Judith and Ameen in the breakfast area who served us breakfast and took our orders were so nice and polite. Would always serve amazing food with so much variety via Buffett and Al la carte options . The half board option is amazing and so much choice and so much options and so quick ordering the food via what’s app service made it’s breeze. Its location is fantastic right opposite soul waqif with easy access to the souq and so close to west bay, the Cornish and three close mosque to visit and pray at. One of the best hotels in Doha. Would never want to stay in another hotel while in Doha. Close to everything and so much facilities in around the hotel They go above and beyond they surprised us with so many beautiful things to celebrate our occasion. The check in was super fast and easy. We didn’t want to leave when our stay was over. It feels like a home from home. You get super warm and happy feeling being at the hotel. Hotel smells wonderful each time you enter the hotel and walk around. Also it offers many resturant options from Mexican, sea food to variety of world foods You stay at Alwadi will truly be magical

It was a very comfortable and convenient hotel during my stay! Located in Central Doha, Al Najada Doha Hotel Apartments by Oaks is a well-balanced base for both sightseeing and daily use, making it a safe place for Doha beginners. First of all, the location is the best. Souq Waqif is within walking distance, and you can walk to traditional souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It was convenient for sightseeing and shopping because you can walk while enjoying the local atmosphere.  In addition, there is a subway (Souq Waqif Station) within walking distance, and it was very easy to move around Doha city. Uber taxi is also easy to pick up and smooth to your destination.  Cultural spots are also accessible, and museums are walking / short distance. It was also good to be able to go to the National Museum of Qatar in about 10 minutes by Uber and Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque in about 20 minutes (the movement is back and forth in the weather and time zone, but it was surprisingly close impression).  The room is a large apartment type, and it is convenient for long stays and light self-catering with kitchen. The staff were polite, and overall there was a feeling of cleanliness and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The location is particularly high in word of mouth evaluation.  Personally, I thought it was ”a hotel with a good balance of location, convenience and comfort as a base for staying in Doha.” Recommended for your first trip to Doha and for sightseeing!

The hotel's location is excellent. From the airport, take the Red Line metro, then transfer to the Gold Line and get off at Waqif station. Take Exit 2, but instead of going through the glass door into Souq Waqif, head towards the elevator for Souq Al Najada. The hotel's main entrance is right outside this elevator. Perhaps because the main entrance isn't easy for parking, Google Maps tends to direct you to the road at the back entrance. The hotel lobby and restaurant look quite grand. The rooms feel a bit dated but are still spacious and clean. It's very quiet at night, and the breakfast is good. There are plenty of restaurants in Souq Waqif itself. Housekeeping took a bit longer than expected, but the staff were very friendly. A big thank you to Obada and Khalid for cleaning our room. Overall, it offers great value for money.

Good size room (I was told that I had been upgraded free?), bed is quite firm. 2 extra pillows in the cupboard 👍 nice). Very friendly and helpful staff. But, the bathroom is tiny and cramped. The shower water pools at the rear of the shower cubicle and does not drain - ewww. The carpet was not flat and easily tripped over (how hard would it be to relay it FFS?). Breakfast was barely adequate. (pizza for breakfast??). The location was pretty good - 10 minute walk to 2 different metro stations. If you are in Doha for the F1, it's ok because you won't be in the room much.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel, the atmosphere is amazing, location is super, great service and very friendly staff. Only improvement: Breakfast could be much better, could be more variation and there were some flies. Overall, we had a great time. Thanks for the great service🙏🏼

Service: From the moment I got out of the car, a bellhop took my bags and guided me to the lobby. The lobby staff were appropriately enthusiastic. Since I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, my request for a late checkout was granted, though not very generously, only for an hour at a time. Breakfast: It's a buffet plus à la carte system. The buffet selection was limited but sufficient. The fruit tasted mediocre, especially the watermelon, which was as bland as plain water. Considering it's the Middle East and fruits are imported, I can't really complain about this. The à la carte breakfast items were very good, especially the eggs Benedict, which were of a certain standard. Since there weren weren't many diners, finished plates were cleared away quickly. Room: It has the usual quiet luxury style and is quite spacious. They provide Le Labo toiletries, which is a nice touch. The bedding was very comfortable; the sheets and pillowcases were incredibly smooth, and the mattress was soft, allowing me to fall asleep instantly. However, the toilet is not a smart toilet. Also, if you don't specifically ask, they default to a lower floor. I had hoped to overlook the new Doha city, but due to the low floor, I couldn't see anything. Gym: There were no staff managing it (at least not during the hour I used it). Used equipment was left scattered around. Location: It's only 200 meters from the metro station, making it very convenient to get to the city center and the airport. You can also walk to Souq Waqif in the old city. This is definitely a major highlight. Summary: It meets a standard 5-star level. While it positions itself as high-end, it's not so exceptional that it's a must-stay. Of course, at a price of less than 1000, I can't really ask for much more. Still, for a Park Hyatt, I feel it could have been even better.
