really a nice hotel, service is good👍🏻, near west bay metro station, half hour by car from hotel to airport. I like the breakfast buffet, variety of delicious food🤤
Its an OK place to stay. Breakfast was OK. Service and staff is also OK. Rooms are clean and large but the windows are dusty and unclean everywhere. Very nice pool with amazing views (again the balcony glass was dirty to the point u could not enjoy the views). Not the greatest hotel experience in Doha but it was OK for the price we paid.
I paid for a junior suite with a mini-bar for three guests. I specifically chose this room category for a beautiful city view and a larger space. The price was double that of a standard room.
However, I was checked into a small room, #3320, with no mini-bar, no extra space, no sofa, and no beautiful view. What exactly did I pay for? And this is supposed to be five-star service??? Shameful! I feel completely ripped off. Why?
This kind of treatment completely ruined my impression of the entire country.
I am very upset. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.
The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and found there was an error with my booking. I'm grateful to the front desk staff (a gentleman) who patiently helped me resolve the issue. The room was cozy and clean, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. The hotel also has indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a jacuzzi. I would recommend Wyndham Doha West Bay to my friends if they visit Doha. (The room would be perfect if they could fix the loose shower head.)
Hotel in the tourist center. Nearby attractions. Large swimming pool and many facilities of the hotel. Super buffet including two meals. Perfect for a stopover in Doha. Small and old room
Facilities: All basic amenities are available, such as a coffee machine and a hairdryer.
Cleanliness: Very clean, from the bathroom to the living room, everything was great. Perhaps because the lighting in the room wasn't too bright, you didn't have to look too closely.
Environment: We stayed on the 5th floor, and right outside our floor-to-ceiling window was the pool and outdoor activity area. You could swim, work out, and even enjoy a beer while watching football in the evening.
Service: The service was excellent. They basically answered all our questions and even helped us find solutions.
The hotel's breakfast was just average, not much variety.
You can get a SIM card at the hotel front desk. Just follow the instructions to set up a data plan; you only need your passport. Most places in Qatar support UnionPay and Visa.
Most of the attractions near the hotel are about a 15-minute taxi ride away.
The accommodation was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it even had a washing machine. We arrived early due to our flight schedule, and the hotel kindly permitted us to check in at 10 AM, which we greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Trip.com's customer service for helping to coordinate this. The service was also excellent, and we were very satisfied with everything.
I absolutely loved my stay at Alwadi Hotel Doha. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything I needed.
The location couldn’t have been better. Being right next to Souq Waqif made it so easy to explore the markets, restaurants, and cafés, and I never felt like I was far from anything. It was the perfect base for my first visit to Doha.
My room was beautiful, spacious, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after long days of sightseeing, it was exactly what I needed. Housekeeping was excellent and kept everything spotless throughout my stay.
It was a very comfortable and convenient hotel during my stay!
Located in Central Doha, Al Najada Doha Hotel Apartments by Oaks is a well-balanced base for both sightseeing and daily use, making it a safe place for Doha beginners.
First of all, the location is the best. Souq Waqif is within walking distance, and you can walk to traditional souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It was convenient for sightseeing and shopping because you can walk while enjoying the local atmosphere.
In addition, there is a subway (Souq Waqif Station) within walking distance, and it was very easy to move around Doha city. Uber taxi is also easy to pick up and smooth to your destination.
Cultural spots are also accessible, and museums are walking / short distance. It was also good to be able to go to the National Museum of Qatar in about 10 minutes by Uber and Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque in about 20 minutes (the movement is back and forth in the weather and time zone, but it was surprisingly close impression).
The room is a large apartment type, and it is convenient for long stays and light self-catering with kitchen. The staff were polite, and overall there was a feeling of cleanliness and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The location is particularly high in word of mouth evaluation.
Personally, I thought it was ”a hotel with a good balance of location, convenience and comfort as a base for staying in Doha.” Recommended for your first trip to Doha and for sightseeing!
