It was pretty good, had a stressed employee late at night that was pretty abrasive and made comments under his breath over some guests checking in and some snacks… otherwise the staff were very helpful and courteous

We’re finishing up a 8 day road trip from TX to CA and back and this was the best hotel we stayed in while on the road! I saw reviews saying they needed updating, so I’ll speak on that for sure. They’re in the process of remodeling and it looks great! We stayed in a new room, it had updated carpet that matched the hall, new paint, new beds, and new room decor. The beds were the best we’ve slept on this entire trip! Everyone in the family agreed on that. The only thing we didn’t like about the room was it appears they haven’t put curtains back up yet, so the light from an outside street lamp shined bright all night, and the sun wS bright this morning, but other than that the room and bed was great. The breakfast area is on the 3rd floor which we’ve never seen before, but it was large and the most spacious one we’ve seen yet. I saw reviews saying the breakfast staff weren’t friendly, but the one this morning was very nice. It was clean in there and had a good selection of things. The hotel is right off i10 and was easy to get to. We did not check out the pool, but it’s November, and was 50 degrees. The other amenities were great! Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We will stay here again next time we pass through!

I give hotels a LOT of leeway and generally just go with the flow but this hotel is just beyond bad. They are under renovations which is fine, but the guy that was there working when we got there was parked in the handicap spot for “ease of access so he could load his tools” and so we couldn’t park in the handicap spot. Second ding…only one working ice machine in the whole hotel and it was in the lobby. The ice came out dirty with chunks of brown dirt in the cubes. Tossed out the whole bucket and told the front desk. No one cares Third ding…Sunday morning there was no breakfast. The girl working the front desk came up to the 3rd floor “breakfast room” (which was a table only on the 3rd floor) with us because she didn’t believe us when we told her and then said “O, I guess the girl in charge of breakfast didn’t show up today. Sorry” This is unacceptable on a weekend morning IMO. Have a backup plan Fourth ding…no blackout shade over the windows No one cares about anything going on at this hotel and other than a bed we got nothing else included in our stay as advertised and couldn’t even use the handicap parking due to the workers trucks always bring parked there. You bet I’m emailing corporate when we get back

I do not like to leave negative reviews, but this stay was the worst. The hotel is under renovations, I understand that. The first room we were sent to smelled so bad of paint, we asked to be moved. The smell was so strong it made our eyes water. The second room we were given was not clean. The bottle of shampoo and conditioner had about a quarter of product left in them…they were obviously used by a previous guest. The room had a Venetian blind that did not filter out the light from the parking lot and was bright all night long. No drapes to close over the blind. The comforter was torn and shabby. I talked to the front staff who said they had no control and could not do anything to make the stay better.

Nice, comfortable place to stay. Clean and friendly. Very busy at breakfast staff got a little behind with eggs and sausage for people, they had to wait for food to get done. It was good just to a little while. Only had one night here in El Paso, walked around town and went to holocaust museum.

NO shuttle service, as advertised, to El Paso airport. NO breakfast, as advertised. Carpeting very old and tired looking. NO blackout curtains and my room was BRIGHT all night. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Front desk not helpful. Believe I should get total refund.

This is in a convenient location with free shuttle service, cookies at the front desk, and a super large flat screen TV. They do offer security and allow you to leave your vehicle in the parking lot while you travel. There were nice restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint —and it’s a big one —is that the downstairs rooms, which I unknowingly had, do not have blackout curtains on the windows. You can see right through the curtain into the room from the outside. If you stay here, be sure to request a second floor room.

This is an older hotel in the process of being renovated. The front desk staff and the general manager are just awesome however the breakfast staff/lead is just plain rude and unaccommodating. Overall a good experience and the staff is professional and I would stay here again.

I had a king room, which was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and had hot and cold options. It's close to the airport, and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. I didn't have any issues and would stay here again.

Service here was amazing! After a tiring 9 hour drive, it was so nice to be greeted by Jesus in the front desk. He immediately took care of getting us checked in and settled. Great customer service! It made our quick trip a nice adventure and nice get away. Check-in easy, nice and comfy well laid out room. Thank you Jesus, for making our trip special.

I booked a stay here with the wrong date and immediately called to have it fixed. I contacted ********** and they spoke to someone directly at the hotel, but they said they wouldn't change or refund the purchase because of their policy. I called and spoke to Angel and Diego who was supposably the manager at this hotel and they continued to say they couldn't change anything because it was prepaid, and I would have to contact ********** again to have it fixed. Once again I called and ********** again calls them back but still was told they wouldn't change anything and I would have to pay a penalty of $90 to have this changed. After getting so many round abouts I finally decided to call their corporate office for help since by the time i called them back, the manager wasn't there anymore. By the way, what hotel operates without a manager present in the evenings if something was to happen???. So far I've been on hold with corporate for the last 30 minutes with no answer, I Quess I'm not the only one complaining about this business, I honestly didn't even want a refund, I just wanted to change a date on the reservation with rooms available for the date I needed so this was still a win on there end. If you stay here don't count on getting much help from anyone if something was to happen, There is no manager present after hours and you will loss you money because of their no refund policy unless you pay a penalty fee. I will never be staying at any Comfort Inn.

I apologize that this happened but the policy we have is that we could not change the date for a third party reservation and cannot refund any monies or cancel them. The third party company is the only one that is capable if possible. However, both us CHOICE and third party companies get penalties if we cancel, change or refund a reservation. I personally apologize on the experience you had during this issue but we hope that we can explain our side as a way to correct any miscommunications. I hope you have a great day and week as well.
