Hotels near Villino Broggi-Caraceni in Florence

The location of the room is good, in the urban area, the room can be considered as a big, very fine hotel! The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. Breakfast dining environment is also good! The layout of the room, a family of three 👨‍👩‍👧 will not be crowded when staying! The child's bed is on the other side of the room. Good space, three suitcases don't feel too crowded! The bathroom space is not small, the shower room is very interesting, it is flexible and retractable! The hotel's air conditioner is a bit hot, and the air conditioner is turned off, but I still feel a bit hot! Everything else is fine! Very cost-effective hotel.

We visited Hu Camping because it had the services we wanted whilst being really close to Florence. Check In could not have gone any easier. Really polite staff. We asked to upgrade our mobile home but there were none available until the end of the week. So we didn't bother. We drive to our home and noticed it was clean and well maintained. There were people gardening, cleaning all the time. Got to the mobile home and things were not ideal, utensils missing and a ladder to the bunk bed. We went to reception to ask about the missing things and the majority of what we needed was sent to us within an hour with huge apologies. It was an older mobile home but it was clean and ready for us to put our feet up. Having two bathrooms was really good with a family of 5. It was 37°C outside and the air conditioning worked well. We took a fan with us so it moved the air around a bit more. But we left it on during the day, with the interior doors open and the rooms were nice and cool. We used the restaurant, the service was really good and they were busy. It's a good idea to book. We had booked for 9pm and a couple were ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, they asked for a table and were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes. The food was tasty and fresh. Not overly expensive, considering some places nearby or other European cities. We used both pools, the kids one was a little cold but my boys (8, 13, 15) didn't care. Around the pool was clean and well maintained, there was enough shade if needed and a lovely olive grove section away from the pool for lots of shade. The pool bar was well equipped and the staff were friendly. The main pool was busy but people still had space to throw a ball or jump in. It's not there for doing lengths. The onsite shop was fine, it's not big, so we used it when we had to, otherwise there was a decent sized Coop not too far from the site (driving distance). The other bits were good, bike hire (although get there early), laundry services were great, the volleyball/football pitch needs updating but it was fine. The location is just outside the city. There was a bus to the centre from the campsite but we didn't use it. We drove and parked in underground parking in the city. All very easy. I had preconceptions about how it was going to be but I was really surprised with how good it was. And the staff were really polite and helpful. I would happily go back to visit it again.

Hotel Alinari is in a very convenient location just steps from Santa Maria Novella Station and only a short walk to the Central Market and numerous reasonably priced restaurants. It’s location might be off putting to some people as there is no huge lighted sign on the street telling you it’s there. You have to look for a much smaller sign in the street and elk into the ground level courtyard to see that it’s on the 4th floor. Take the elevator up to 4 but you might have to wait for it a bit. Patience pays off though as the proprietor and all of his staff are friendly and eager to help. Breakfast is substantial enough served by more friendly employees. Hotel Alinari provides good value in my opinion. Robert from Missouri USA

The reason why I’m voting 3 stars is because I wasn’t able to take a decent shower due to the water being blocked and it starting to overflow to the ground after 5/6 minutes. You guys need to call a plumber as everything in the toilet is blocked. I went to the spa which I was really looking forward to, to then go into a “hot tub” that was freezing cold! The salt room was ice cold inside and the steam room wasn’t even steaming. That was disappointing. I did tell the receptionist about it and he said he’d call someone to come tomorrow morning to fix it. Considering my experience in the spa was horrible the decent thing staff could have given to me as gratitude is a free session. But I didn’t get any of that. Overall decent not a bad location considering there’s buses near by that takes you straight to city centre however PLEASE can the MANAGER call a plumber and fix those blocked showers.

The room has a sense of design. Although it is not very big, it is very warm and comfortable. The only problem with this room type is that it is on the half floor and needs to go down a very narrow staircase. There are still several steps in the room. Big boxes are very unfriendly! The breakfast is still very good, you can sit outside and feel it.

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

I think this is a hotel that is missing out on its appearance. You might think it's a strange hotel because of its very busy exterior. The interior is very clean and the hotel is very comfortable. The common space is large and there are vending machines, which is very convenient. The other guests have a high level of civility, and many of them are well-mannered and have common sense. You won't have to worry about unwanted guests. Hotels in central Florence can be extremely expensive. There are many facilities that are not worth the price. Personally, even if it takes a little more time to travel, I felt it would be better to start from this hotel.

This was my first hostel experience on my own and it was soooo good! I felt very safe, staff super friendly, the room and common areas had everything you could ever need! Locker in the room was huge... I had enough space to keep all my things safe, but you need to bring your own padlock (maybe the hostel could make that clear on the booking? although I was prepared, another lady in the room was not ;)). Location great, very close to station (but far enough away that it wasn't a problem....), very close to the sites, restaurants and bars. I would happily return to an Ostello Bello! Grazie

Best Western Plus CHC Florence has the best, friendliest, kindest employees, probably in the world. The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with great variety and service. The rooms are comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The area is lively and convenient, has lots of choices for transportation, dining, and many businesses. It's about 5 minutes from the airport by car, and 2 stops by public transportation My mom happened to have an emergency while we were staying at BW for vacation, which forced me to extend my stay for 19 days. Even though the hotel was full, front desk staff accommodated me, and helped me in every way they could with tips, directions, everything I needed. Employees from the restaurant even took me out to dinner on my birthday. Mosquitos! Two out of the three nights we were at this hotel we had mosquitos in our room. We got bit multiple times and let the front the desk know at check out and she said that there was a mosquito machine to keep them out on the wardrobe, which we didn’t have or see. At check in they did not notify us of this mosquito machine or mention it in our welcome letter that they give you about key codes etc. They were unwilling to compensate and acted like we were supposed to know that we were going to be dealing with mosquitos in a hotel room? Obviously if you have a mosquito machine in your rooms, you have a bug problem!! I know Italy is filled with old buildings but bugs shouldn’t be in a hotel period, regardless. Also, there is no front desk staff at night, so if anything happens you are screwed. The room is very bare bones and you have to sit sideways on the toilet because it’s so small, ( but this isn’t too uncommon in Europe). I would not recommend this mosquito motel to anyone. Wish we spent a little more for a better place to stay.
