Hotels in Volga Manor, Harbin

This is our third year staying here, usually for about a week each time. I was pleasantly surprised that the manor upgraded our room again, and we ended up back at the Birch Island Hotel. It feels like fate! They've added more activities in the park, which is great, and the prices haven't changed – still around 30 yuan per ticket, available for purchase on-site or [purchase method missing in original text, assumed online/pre-purchase]. We were so lucky to have two snowfalls during our 6-day stay, it was beautiful. The kids would sleep in, then head straight downstairs to play in the snow until 4 or 5 PM before finally agreeing to come back to the room.

We were upgraded to a family room, which was more spacious. Parking was convenient, and the hotel's hygiene was acceptable. However, the staff's quality was a bit lacking. While we were sleeping in our room, the cleaning lady tried to open the door several times. Luckily, we had it double-locked. When asked, she said she needed to deliver towels. Who delivers towels at 3 PM? If she had actually entered, it would have been an invasion of privacy. They should really check if anyone is in the room before delivering anything.

The most unforgettable part of my trip to Harbin was Volga Manor, without question. It's simply breathtakingly beautiful and a place where you can truly find peace. Staying at the Birch Island Hotel was an excellent choice; it was incredibly relaxing, and the surroundings were superb. As someone who often struggles with sleep, I found it wonderfully quiet and comfortable. My only regret is how quickly time flew by – I definitely should have planned to stay for more days. I'll certainly be back!

滿意點：價格確實很便宜，適合學生黨窮遊，離伏爾加莊園7分鐘車程，衞生間很乾凈，洗澡水很大，冬天洗澡很舒服，房間是地暖，晚上睡覺比較安靜。外面是個類似市集的地方，有吃飯的地兒。不滿意：平台寫的是有窗房間，實際拿到房是無窗房間，有點悶熱，而且説是親子房，實際房間很窄，三個人在加點行李，連走路的地方都沒有，沒有掛鈎，冬天3人進房間一脱衣服，就把桌子堆滿樂，小桌子能放東西的地方很有限。而且地點很偏，到酒店還要走一段路，門前有段很滑的路，坑坑窪窪的。長者路上還摔了一跤。特別提醒：不提供礦泉水，如果自己不帶水的話，酒店裝的自來水煮的水帶鹹味。

It's very close to popular attractions like Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, Ice and Snow World, and the Songhua River, all just a 10-minute subway ride away. 2. The hotel offers free luggage storage, which is a real lifesaver and frees up your hands completely. The cleaning staff (auntie) was super nice and very welcoming. 3. The hotel environment is decent and the hygiene is impeccable.

There were two women and one man at the front desk, and their service was excellent. One person, in particular, was incredibly helpful and even upgraded our room for free. Although the facilities are a bit old now, you can tell this used to be a really luxurious and high-end hotel. It's a great option for families on a budget who still want a convenient and comfortable stay.

Great location! Turn right out of the hotel and you're just a few steps from a fast-food restaurant. The subway station is less than a minute's walk away, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum, bus station, Qiulin Company, and Songlei Commercial Building. The hygiene is also good; I asked for a new towel late at night and it was handled within minutes. If I had to pick something, the soundproofing isn't perfect, and the TV was a bit laggy, but these are minor issues that don't detract from the overall experience.

After an unpleasant experience at my previous hotel, I was really touched by the enthusiastic staff here. They showed me a room and then helped me compare it with another family room, recommending the cheaper and more value-for-money triple family room. The hotel's breakfast is definitely the highlight; the variety is absolutely amazing! It's a fantastic blend of Chinese and Western options, catering to different dietary habits from both northern and southern regions. Staples like noodles, steamed buns, corn, pumpkin, and rice are all available. Western breakfast items like desserts, waffles, small cakes, and bread are also plentiful. Even staying for two days, the selection changed, and the juices, coffee, milk, and soy milk (original, grain) were all so complete! A wonderful Harbin trip starts with a delightful breakfast!

Traveling to Heilongjiang, I stayed at this Spring Chain Hotel in Harbin for both my arrival and departure. It was clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. It's also super convenient for getting around to places like the Heilongjiang Museum, Chinese Baroque Street, Central Street, and Saint Sophia Cathedral.

Location: Near Harbin Railway Station and Provincial Museum, these two places are within walking distance. The nearest subway station is the Provincial Museum. Gogol Street, Central Street, and Hongzhuan Street are in the surrounding area, and it can be reached in half an hour by subway or ten minutes by Didi. The great location is the highlight of the room. Room: Although it is called a hotel, it is actually a B&B or inn that has been modified from a suite in an old community to a hotel. The layout, facilities, and style of the room are close to those of a hotel room, but don’t expect too much. And not the entire building is a hotel. Facilities: New, basic configurations are available. It should be noted that there is a strong smell of bleach in the room, odor sometimes overflows from the bathroom, and the sound insulation of each room is poor. If there is any missing shampoo or shower gel, you must find it in time and ask your aunt to get it. Service: Auntie is still very enthusiastic and can communicate with us about everything.
