Our stay at the hotel was great! Being a Marriott Bonvoy member allowed us a nice upgrade for our room. Onsite staff spoke English very well. The room was very orderly and spacious. Also, this Marriott was one of the few hotels I have been to that had the room allergy ready when I told them I was allergic to feathers on the reservation. The free beverages (beer, wine, cocktails, juice, and soda) and hot meals during the membership lounge time were nice. The public bath was very clean and relaxing. The management team went above and beyond! We asked the doorman to arrange a taxi to get to a local restaurant. Instead, he worked with the assistant manager, who told us he would personally drive us to the restaurant (even included a return trip!) The breakfast buffet was excellent and had both American and Japanese fare. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family who visit the area.

This is a stunning property and all around excellent place to stay with one caveat. The amenities are excellent, the grounds tranquil and gorgeous. The library was a nice place to chill, has snacks all day, whisky an sake/champagne in the evening to enjoy a nightcap, special little treats outside in the garden etc. The onsen was magic and the nature trail to connect you to the forest and surrounding areas was delightful. The staff was incredible, attentive, and kind. Anything we needed they happily accommodated. We had a treatment at the spa And the kaiseki dinner with sake pairing which were both lovely and worth the expense. But the rooms may not live up to your expectations. We rented a junior maisonette for our family of four. While what is pictured on the website is lovely and inviting, what we got was a two story townhouse in the middle of a three-plex that felt a little old, was at the edge of the property, and faced a road that was hidden by a tall fence. Had I know this is what I was getting I would have definitely chosen differently and probably not stayed here. Because for as expensive this property is I expected the actual room to be far superior than what it was. But if you can secure one of the better rooms on the water then I say go for it.

The property is very charming and the photos shown are true to actual. Location is a bit far from the station so best to arrange the shuttle bus service or take a cab. Room is neat and cosy and the private onsen is a nice bonus. Breakfast is lovely and the fresh vegetables were amazing however the dinner was a let down as it wasn’t served in the restaurant. Instead we were provided with a voucher for redemption at the bar. The food is just average, beef was not very fresh, and your clothes and hair reek of smell after dinner as they cook the food right at the bar.

The villa is in a very quiet villa group, and the air is very good. From Karuizawa Station, you can take the bus to Yukawa, and it takes less than 10 minutes to get off the bus. Or take the Nakakaruizawa one stop to Nakakaruizawa, and then walk for 17 minutes. This path is not recommended at night because it passes through an unlit alley and a cemetery. The hotel is almost entirely self-service, and you fold the mattresses and quilts yourself. Each room has a bathroom. When taking a bath, it is a public bathhouse. It is not possible for two people to wash together in the bathhouse. It is a bit crowded for three people. The hotel's nearest convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. The 711 here is open from 6 am to 11 pm. The Stone Church is 7 minutes away from the convenience store. The price/performance ratio is pretty good. Bicycles can be rented at the entrance of the hotel. Please confirm with the front desk for details.

Choose Karuizawa at the first harvest. It was a high-class inn, but the response of the employee was good. It was a room, but it was a three story building, and the room was very tired because it was a side length and the room was on the edge. We stayed for three people, the bed is two people and the rest is a style of laying a futon by oneself. The buffet is different from a certain Karuizawa pudding ○ hotel, and the number of items is small. But all of them are well selected. The live kitchen took time to cook and often lined up. But I've seen various buffets so far, but the steak here is small, but it was a little thick and satisfying. There are many kinds of cakes and it is slightly smaller than the usual cake, but this was delicious again. There is a pros and cons, but the yogurt ice cream was modest and special. Breakfast was also meat, and it was a satisfying meal content from the morning with the fresh vegetable smoothie. The hot spring is far away, but there was a further distance after getting off the elevator. It took more than 5 minutes from the room to the hot spring. There is also a slipper bag and you can take it to the dressing room. It is unknown whether the locker is regularly cleaned. The source is OZE Onsen No.3. The source stops or comes out when the time is about to come out. The source is wet and smellless. However, there is a circulation hot water from the bathtub and there is a chlorine smell. From the size of the hotel, the bathtub is small and a little bit narrow. Um, with a hot spring or a cherry blossom that has not much characteristics. Is it because I use OZE Onsen No.3? There is no oil smell like OZE Onsen Hotel. Is it a hot water because it is far to OZE Onsen Hotel? The open air was a hot water, so I didn't enter. The washroom felt a bit narrow. As a hotel of the same level, it is compared to Karuizawa Pri ○ Su Hotel. The buffet is better than this hotel. Especially breakfast. However, is the other pudding ○ more or less the same level? I thought it would be good if the accessories in the room became better because the building structure was not possible.

I stayed at this hotel with my family when I traveled to Karuizawa. The location was good to sightsee Karuizawa, and convenience stores and supermarkets were close, so I was saved. The building is clean and clean. The room was like a business hotel, but it was large and even a family 4 person was able to relax. The host was friendly and welcoming. We went early to drop off our baggage and even though it wasn't opened yet, he came out to entertain us and kept it for us. When we returned to check in, he was very warm and offered us a hot welcome drink, which was something we needed in the cold weather. He was very clear with his explanation, and we felt happy to hang out at the lounge area for drinks after we settled in.
