I was very impressed by the quality of service and cleanliness of the facilities. Location was perfect for walking around downtown Lisbon and well connected by public transportation also. Free lockers for luggage storage are a great addition too! I also really appreciated the numa team going the extra mile and offering a few extra treats and essentials free of charge; it’s refreshing in an age where we are often times paying more for less.

I enjoyed staying there. It feels good being in that space. Very clean and efficient. In genera, my room was quiet, only in the coriander some times you can hear other gustes speaking. Since is close to the airport, you hear the airplanes too. Still I recommend this place.

Serious safety and service failures at Numa Anjos Lisbon, and a broader pattern of unresponsiveness from your digital support during the stay. In the early hours of 25 June, a fire alarm was triggered at the property. The alarm sounded for over 30 minutes. My group and other guests evacuated the building and gathered outside. I understand that Numa operates as an unstaffed, digital-first property — that is the model we booked, and I am not complaining about the absence of on-site staff itself. My complaint is that the digital support which is supposed to replace on-site staff, and which Numa advertises as available 24/7 across the website, the Trip.com listing/booking confirmation, the in-room welcome guide, and the app/check-in instructions, was completely unreachable during an actual emergency! During the alarm and evacuation, WhatsApp — the primary digital contact channel — received no response whatsoever. No one from Numa made contact through any digital channel while the situation was unfolding. Several guests called emergency services directly because there was no way to reach Numa. No fire authority or emergency personnel arrived on site during this period either. They claimed to have security check the property and coordinating with authorities during the absence of active support - we saw no single soul present. We wonder how they checked the safety? The alarm went off itself and guests just went back in without hesitation. The first communication we received from Numa was an email sent around 3:20am — hours after the alarm, and well after the situation had already resolved itself on its own, with zero digital support from your team at any point during the actual emergency!! They said they sent both SMS and email. This is the biggest failure of security protocol - some guests sleep with their phones in silent mode, or switched off or with ear-plugs on like us. Luckily my partner heard the alarm and able to wake me up in time for the evacuation! This was not an isolated incident. It is consistent with a pattern of unreliable response times from your team throughout this stay: • When we requested a room change due to a noise issue (even though requested at the time of booking but told it is automatic assignment), WhatsApp told us an agent would reach out within approximately 15–20 minutes. The actual response came roughly 2 hours later. • When we reported an air conditioning issue of a new room, it similarly took longer to receive any response. And later they accessed our room unannounced even though I asked specifically for the time of check up. Taken together with the fire alarm incident, this shows that the 24/7 digital support Numa advertises does not function as promised, even for routine requests, let alone emergencies. The fire alarm is simply the most serious example of a problem that recurred throughout our stay!! The core issues are: 1. Total unresponsiveness on WhatsApp during a 30+ minute active fire alarm and evacuation. 2. No digital contact or guidance of any kind while the emergency was happening 3. No coordination with or follow-up from emergency authorities, despite guests calling them directly. (it seems their alarm is not linked to authorities?) 4. A delayed, after-the-fact email as the only acknowledgment of the fire alarm — sent only once the situation had already resolved. 5. A direct contradiction between the “24/7 guest support” promised at every booking touchpoint and the repeated, significant delays we experienced for the room change request, the air conditioning issue, and most critically, the fire alarm emergency. For a property built entirely around remote/digital guest support replacing on-site staff, this is not a minor service lapse — it is a recurring failure of the core mechanism guests are told to rely on, with the fire alarm being the point where that failure became a genuine safety issue.

The apartment was new, clean and spacious. But we had a very bad experience here. Firstly, the “sofa bed” was not really a “sofa bed” it was just a regular sofa. We had to ask extra sheets to make it “sleepable”. Secondly, even though the location is very centric, bear in mind that it located on a party street. We couldn’t sleep 2/3 of the nights because of the loud noises outside and the complete lack of Soundproofing. We spent the entire stay, unable to sleep, listening to drunks shouting. They offered us absolutely no solutions or alternatives. If you stay here, bring earplugs!

Great location. Subway is just downstairs. Have kitchen and appliances. Close to Lots of Hypermarkets like Continent and Lidl. Everything went smooth, they also provide cleaning services every day. I just had a small issue but I think it was only in my room cuz it was on the edge, I couldn’t really get the WiFi in the living room. But I went to the bathroom , it was ok. I guess the bathroom and other rooms closer to the elevator had better connections

The facilities and location were great. The downside was the construction work that kept us awake. It was two in the morning, and they were working with grinders, tools, and other heavy impacts.

Amazing location (4-5 minutes walk to cais de sobre which will take you anywhere you want). Rooms were super clean. Completely automatic check in process (though we had a problem with the check in because the machine wasn't working but they answered our call immediately and sent someone to fix it). Very good experience.

There were many reviews saying that check-in was difficult, but according to the text message the accommodation sent the day before, you can easily enter if you check in on the day of arrival. It was comfortable despite our short stay because it was fully equipped with amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, and tableware. (I couldn't find slippers though.) On the first day, the boiler broke down, so we had to take a cold shower. I was fuming because it was complicated to contact them (working hours are 10:00–18:00), but fortunately, I sent an email message to the hotel through Trip.com and received a reply. The next day, a staff member apologized and replaced the boiler. (It seemed to take about 2 hours.) In our case, since it was the last country of our trip and we were tired, we considered it a break, but it could have been difficult if you had a situation where you needed to go out. After it was fixed, the hot water came out so well that I wondered if it had always been this hot, and I was able to shower comfortably. Although there were some inconveniences and things that were disappointing, they responded immediately and were kind, so I think we were just unlucky. I was so satisfied with everything else that I would love to stay here again if I come to Lisbon next time! In other cases

It was hard to find at first, but it was my fault. But the facilities are so good and the cleanliness is like a high-end hotel. You have to check in yourself, but when there is a staff member, they will help you. I moved to another hotel now, and I regret it so much.

The hotel requested booking no for checkin but none of the numbers keyed into the check in machine could work. Both lifts broke down and one has to carry the luggage to B3 to store luggages in the locker for which they charged euro 2/- per locker and this was not made clear at the time of booking. Don’t be mistaken, though they said there is a 24 hours front desk you are only talking to a phone! The staff gave contradictory information- one try to pass the bug to another taking over the duties. Overall checkin experience is terrible! The plus point is there is a kitchen with microwave/fridge and washing machine at the apartment for guest’s convenience. Japanese and Chinese restaurants within 100m walk from hotel.

Overall, location is good, quiet and easy to get into central area via tram/bus/uber. Kitchen facilities inside the studio are useful and cleaning service is provided to change towels. Areas of improvements needed: - No arrival instructions were provided, even when asked prior to arriving. This left us hanging outside the building as we had no access code to enter. - Dirty dishes were left inside the dishwasher when we arrived

I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews, but my experience turned out to be great. The location was convenient, close to my office meetings as well as main sights, and in a quieter area that made for good sleep. Check-in and check-out were much easier than expected. The virtual reception worked smoothly, much quicker than a typical hotel desk. Checking out was simple with an online form. I stayed in a studio, which was very spacious with a kitchen and nice bathroom. The room had everything I needed: washing machine, stove, dishwasher, fridge, kitchen utensils, clothes hanger, and iron. Daily cleaning was provided and the room was spotless on arrival. I also really liked the keyless system with door codes, which made things much more convenient. Of course, this is more of an apartment setup, so you won’t find hotel-style amenities, but it worked perfectly for me. The only minor downside was some noise when people came in and out, but guests were generally very considerate and it never disrupted my sleep. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

We were extremely pleased with the apartment. We spent 4 days in Lisbon as a family, and we were truly surprised by the excellent price and location. It was just a 15-minute metro ride to the city center, and both the metro and bus stops were only a 2-minute walk away. Check-in was easy and straightforward. The neighborhood was very peaceful, with plenty of supermarkets and all sorts of dining options nearby. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were cleaned daily. If we come back to Lisbon, we would definitely stay here again without hesitation. 100% recommended.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for visiting nearby popular attractions. However, the self check-in process is quite complicated, and the apartment door lock requires frequent calls to the front desk. The intercom volume is very low, which makes it difficult to communicate, especially at night. Additionally, the neighborhood is very lively and noisy until late, which can disturb sleep. Regarding luggage storage, it costs £2 per use. We tried twice and ended up paying an extra €2. After inserting the first coin, we had to call the front desk for assistance. The staff’s attitude was poor, saying “I don’t know what to do, and I’m not here,” so we had to pay an additional €2 to store our luggage. We hope the hotel can refund the extra €2 we were charged for luggage storage.

The facility itself is good. Housekeeping is done every day. However, there is a serious problem in this apartment. From September 2024, the municipality set tourist tax 4 euro/day, This is exclusively expensive. In addition to that, the management company charged me three times of the amount as tips, it means 72.euro total not 24 euro, as I stayed for 6 nights alone. Nobody can deny this, as it is a machine process and you can't get the room key number without the payment. I could get the pdf receipt after check out asking sometimes. Although I protested this payment after the check out many times, but the company has never tried to correspondent with me and of course no cash back from the apartment. It is almost criminal!

You can’t be more central than this! Greta place with lots of space. We were staying on the fourth floor and had a narrow balcony across the whole apartment. The aircon works wonders, despite there only being one for the whole flat. It still stays very cool in the summer heat. Very quiet despite being that central. Would definitely come back. In relation to the check in, I’ve stayed in various apartments of this brand and I had no issues at all. The only thing is that for city taxes you need to use the black telephone at the check in terminal to ring them and adjust it, if you are less people than the terminal says. I suspect it’s a problem of trip.com and their internal system. But they resolve it immediately when you ask them too. But for the future, it’d be great if they could fix this. But I wouldn’t say this affected my stay in any way. So don’t worry about it.
