"This hotel is extremely convenient and close to two metro stations. It is important for travelers that are looking to travel with public transportation. Also it is close to shopping streets, restaurants and a super market. It feels safe to stay here too."

"The Masa Hotel and Spa is in an excellent location and easily reached by the metro station about 10 minutes walk away. The room was exceptionally clean and the room had a mini bar, safe and was supplied with bath robes and disposable slippers. Also a litre bottle of water was a welcome addition. In regards to the breakfast. The first morning was perfect and the selection was very good. However the second morning I went earlier and it is best described as a chaotic mess. There was a large party of travellers who all descended the dining room at the same time and there was simply too many in at the same time. Maybe somone should have staggered the amount allowed in at once and allowed people to get their breakfast choice in a relaxed fashion rather than it resembling feeding time at the zoo! I stayed over the weekend the clocks went back and was reliably informed by reception staff that in Portugal the clocks went back on the Sunday night going into Monday which was proven to be completely inaccurate and could have caused problems for ongoing travel if they had been believed! It must be mentioned that the major disadvantage of this hotel is that it lies directly under the flight path of Lisbon Airport and from early morning there are plane after plane coming very frequently into land. Even with the windows closed it's still very noticeable. It's obviously not the hotels fault where it's situated, but if you want a peaceful stay then this hotel really isn't going to give you that. The spa and swimming pool I can not comment on as never used. Neither did I use the dining room for an evening meal. Despite the negative comments it is a lovely hotel simply spoiled by being under the flight path of the main airport."

"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by recommending great restaurants nearby. What was truly thoughtful was that they even called ahead to confirm the restaurants' opening hours before suggesting them to me – a very considerate gesture. Breakfast was also superb, and the staff even thoughtfully packed some food for me to take away. The room itself was large and very comfortable! All in all, it was a stay that far exceeded my expectations!"

"The room was a bit small but clean and quiet. Most guests are just staying for one night before an early flight, so it's perfectly fine for sleeping. A major plus is that breakfast starts at 2 AM. The downside is that I booked this hotel specifically because it claimed to be a walkable 300 meters from the airport, but the route was all outdoor main roads and gravel paths. The hotel boasts an airport shuttle, but it's just one small 10-seater van. On a rainy day, there were 20-30 people waiting, and even the foreigners weren't bothering with queues. I couldn't get on, so I had to angrily drag my suitcase through the rain the 300 meters to the airport. It was a miserable experience; I arrived soaked."

"The hotel stay experience is great! The superior bed room booked has a balcony. The room is spacious and bright, facing the ancient city, and the day and night view is quite charming. All the staff of the hotel are very warm and thoughtful and the breakfast is rich. The location of the hotel is very good, the corner is Rossio subway station. The square downstairs has been arranged for the Christmas market, very lively, and it will disperse at 11 pm, so it will not affect the rest. very satisfied! An excellent holiday experience in this very nice boutique hotel. Room is very big and full of sunlight. All staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is very good, and, the artistic ambience is brilliant. Last but not the least, location is perfect!"

"Absolutely wonderful place and great service! Very cozy hotel with a small garden. The beds are comfortable, spacious bathroom and room is nicely designed and very clean😊 The place also has a small kitchen, guests can make a sandwich or light meal, tea and coffee sachets are refilled daily. The only minus is lack of elevator, however, the staff was very helpful to carry my heavy bags upstairs:) I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lisbon🤗"

"Very small toilet and noisy front door! The guest rooms in the hotel is newly renovated. Maybe due to some designing issues, the toilet is very small. The toilet bowl is narrowly surrounded by the sink and wall. I’m not a big size person, but I cannot fully sit on the toilet bowl because the space between the sink and the wall is small. The front door of the room produces a big bang when closing. The hotel does suggest guests to tap the door card to retract the lock tongue before closing the door. But nobody does so and you keep hearing bangs from neighbours. My room has the smell of cigarette smoke from 9 p.m. every night. I couldn’t figure out where it comes from."

"The hotel's location is decent, just a 10-15 minute walk to Liberty Boulevard, making it convenient to get around. The rooms are fairly spacious, and the cleanliness and facilities are average. The front desk staff are friendly; one of the staff members is learning Chinese and greets you in Chinese every time we meet."

"We stayed here for 3 nights for vacation, below are our experience and reviews. Cons: 1. Complimentary Water (only 2 during entire stay): • Complimentary water is only provided on the first day, but this was not communicated at check-in. • The vending machine water is overpriced (4.5x supermarket price). • Clear instructions at check-in would allow guests to plan ahead and buy water elsewhere. 2. Reception Service: • No guidance on how to call the front desk from the room,resulted in us going down to reception for assistance. • Unprofessional receptionist behavior: • A receptionist prioritized personal conversations with other guests over assisting me, even after noticing I needed help. • My query took less than a minute but was delayed unnecessarily, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. 3. Housekeeping Issue: • Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, housekeeping knocked repeatedly and did not respond when asked who was there. • The door lacked a peephole, which raised safety concerns as we couldn’t verify who was outside. 4. Taxi Drop-off: • The hotel’s entrance is on a ramp near a traffic light, making it difficult for taxi to stop directly in front of the door. • Guests with heavy luggage may find it inconvenient as taxis often park farther away. Some Pros: • Excellent location near a park with a charming Christmas market. • Safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient. • Decent-sized rooms with ample space and a large desk for working. • Good breakfast options."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent — very close to the метро station, with many bus routes nearby that make it easy to get to different attractions. However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Housekeeping was quite basic: the staff only made the bed and refilled the water. Coffee supplies and towels were not replaced, the floor was not vacuumed, and overall cleaning felt minimal. Another issue is noise. Possibly because there is no carpet, sounds travel easily. You can clearly hear people walking or dragging suitcases upstairs, and when the neighboring room closes their door, the vibration can be felt inside the room. Despite these issues, the hotel has strong points in terms of service, room size, and transportation convenience."
