"The security situation was not too bad, and it was very clean. There was a bus stop right in front, and the location was very good. Cleaning was done every day, and the beds, toilets, and bathrooms were all perfectly cleaned. We were also grateful to receive 1 liter of water for free every day. The only thing that bothered me was that the walls were thin, so there was noise coming from all over the place."

"Staff were amazing! From the front desk, to the restaurant staff. They were very warm & nice. I give 4 stars for cleanliness due to the fridge. Saw a couple of people’s hair in it that turned me off & felt funny using their fridge. Other than that, we had an amazing stay & would recommend this hotel! Everything is close by including plaza de comercio, rossio, george castle & the lift just to name a few. You can take 15E tram which is a stone’s throw away from the hotel to get to Belem District (Belem Tower & Jeronimo Monastery) if uber is not an option for you. We did uber going there & tried their tram going back. Lots of great restaurants that are walkable as well. Do not go to the grocery store by the hotel (Jin & Linda) everything is overpriced. Go to the nearby grocery store Continente Bom Dia. Facing the front of the hotel, go east then north. Its like a 2 minute walk."

"The hotel is located in the very city center, as a result: be ready for tourists crowds 24/7 and overpriced cafes around. The service was nice, but nothing exceptional. I would say it's overpriced for 3🌟 standard, but then again - you pay extra for central location. There was construction works in 2 neighbour's buildings next to the hotel - noisy during the day."

"The hotel is convenient to major attractions, the subway station and bus stop (28E) are nearby. The room is clean and tidy, the staff is quite friendly. The room has a balcony to enjoy the city view."

"I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer."

"First and foremost, the room is really nice but the hotel got to carry out serious review on its service standard.  After travelling to so many countries and staying in so many hotels, this is the first time I encountered that a hotel that doesn’t loan an umbrella to its guests on rainy days.  Next, we were given welcome drinks which we had them, sitting in the hotel lobby which is next to the bar counter.  Guess what, a staff came over and rudely told us that “we are NOT ALLOWED” to sit here and consume the welcome drink and have to do that at the bar counter”……yes, NOT ALLOWED are the exact words used.  Well, I am convinced that I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and neither would I stay in this hotel again."

"Have a great stay at Turim Europa Hotel. Right from the bell service personnel, front desk (special thanks to Clara and her team members for their exceptional service), bar tenders and housekeepers. The hotel is surrounded by great varieties of restaurants. You MUST try Cardo Restaurant to taste the traditional Portugese cuisine and drinks. The service is excellent and the food are delicious. In addition, it’s only take 5 minutes walk to the Parque metro station (Blue line), which is one of the major tourist attractions line and easy accessible to others line intersections. And less than 5 minutes walk to the Pink metro line to get to the airport from the hotel. Thank you Trip.com for providing with the great accommodation selection on your site.
