PacolongshaoMy parents brought their grandchildren to Macau Peninsula, and they wanted a hotel that offered shopping, dining, and easy access to UNESCO World Heritage sites. Grand Emperor Hotel Macau was undoubtedly a highly cost-effective choice. The hotel is situated in the heart of Avenida Comercial, boasting a grand and striking European palace-style exterior, with its crown emblem being instantly recognizable.
The hotel's location is its biggest asset. It's right next to New Yaohan Department Store, making shopping and buying souvenirs incredibly convenient. Within about a ten-minute walk, you can reach the shopping landmark of Senado Square (Sena Square). Grand Lisboa and Wynn Macau are also just a stone's throw away.
Objectively, the hotel has been open for a while, so some facilities show signs of age, and the decor is quite traditional. During peak times, the breakfast area can get crowded. However, these minor drawbacks don't overshadow its advantages. Its irreplaceable central location on the peninsula perfectly balances comfortable accommodation with excellent travel convenience.

DaaiwujiangkaiwuThe hotel is surrounded by supermarkets and local eateries, situated in the old town area, not far from St. Paul's Ruins. I really liked the serene and quiet environment of the hotel, and the price was very budget-friendly. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the food at the restaurant on the first floor was delicious. The cleaning auntie was also very kind. It was a very satisfying trip. In the evenings, it was great to wander around the neighborhood and stretch my legs. Highly recommend!

ZuizuihoudemeihaoaThe room was quite spacious, and there were plenty of power outlets, which was very convenient as no adapters were needed. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the Grand Lisboa. We took a shuttle from Grand Lisboa Palace, where we had dinner and shopped, then caught another shuttle to Grand Lisboa, and it was just a 5-minute walk to the Metropark Hotel. There are restaurants next to the hotel, and on Rua de Outubro, behind the hotel, there's a bus that goes directly to the Border Gate, making transportation very convenient. It's also a leisurely 10-15 minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. I haven't included internal photos as they are quite standard; the exterior shots provided were taken from inside the room, offering a wide, open view. The complimentary bottled water was a bit too small.

I arrived in the evening, so check-in was quick with no queues. There was a 500 deposit, which was promptly returned after check-out. I'd requested a non-smoking and quiet room, and they absolutely delivered on both. The air conditioning in the room was incredibly quiet at night, which was a blessing for someone like me with sleep issues. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel, and it's super convenient for shopping. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had great water pressure – very comfortable. The only downsides were that the shampoo and shower gel weren't great (I ended up buying my own from the supermarket), and I found the low ceilings a bit oppressive, especially with the dark carpet. However, the pillows and duvet were very comfortable. The mattress was an older spring type and quite bouncy, but it was fine sleeping alone.

Guest UserBooked the family room with an adjoining kids' room. The room was quite spacious, and the night view of the Macau Tower from the sea-facing window was beautiful. They even gave us three delicious egg tarts! The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way, and the uphill walk can be tiring. However, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

DadadetuzixmThe room was very spacious and even had a bathtub, which the kids loved. It's really close to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, making it super convenient to get to The Venetian, then head to The Parisian for photos of the Eiffel Tower, hit The Londoner for some Instagram-worthy shots, walk to Rua do Cunha for snacks, visit the Taipa Houses Museum for more photos, and finally, take the cable car at Wynn Palace in the evening to see the night view. Plus, you can catch a free shuttle from the StarWorld Hotel across the street! We had some rain this trip and missed out on a few sights, so we'll definitely have to come back again!

Guest UserThe Landmark (Hotel) has a great location, making it convenient to get anywhere, and there are more dining options than in Taipa. You can take a direct bus to Rua do Cunha right from the hotel entrance. I visit Macau almost every month! I love Macau! 🇲🇴

Guest UserStayed at Macau Kam San Hotel (Rua da Felicidade branch) during the May Day holiday. Although the thousand-yuan room rate was significantly higher than the usual two hundred, the experience far exceeded expectations, much better than staying in Hong Kong during the same period! The hotel's location is superb, close to the Kam San Temple and the historic district, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with relatively new furnishings, and the disposable bedding ensured peace of mind regarding hygiene. Overall, it offers excellent value for money in Macau, providing a quiet escape amidst the bustling city and full of local charm. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Macau!

The hotel has a great location, very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's, making it super convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and exploring. There are also many Macanese specialty snacks nearby. The room was small, but the hygiene was acceptable, and the hotel facilities were quite complete. The staff were friendly.

Anonymous UserThe location is super convenient! Right outside, you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's, and walking a bit further brings you towards Grand Lisboa and Wynn. There are tons of pharmacies, supermarkets, and restaurants on the street. Plus, there are bus stops that can take you to both the old and new parts of the city.
