Hotels in Taipa, Macau

I had a very pleasant stay at the YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with a nice view. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The facilities, like the pool, were well-maintained and made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is a bit quieter and a little further from the busiest tourist areas, but the main attractions are easily accessible by taxi or public transport. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

This is actually a great establishment. Location wise is easily accessible, price wise is decent, has a good privacy. I would say this hotel is more of a Chinese mainland kind a type. It does’t have proper coffee in the room, most of the staff speak Mandarin instead of English, the decoration and stuff are too. What I meant by privacy is that this hotel’s lobby is on the 38th floor and there is a separate elevator to go down to the room floors. However, to go down to the entrance is either go back to the lobby and change, or go to the gym and restaurant and take other elevators at the back. It is like a maze. My room view is magnificent, facing Macau tower, the bridge, and the Sands. The gym and pool are also nice. In general, this is such a proper family hotel with a decent price. It would be so much better for me personally if they have Netflix as well as proper coffee like Nespresso.

## Facilities Well-equipped with a bathtub and a mini-fridge. ## Cleanliness The room is a bit old overall, but there's no dirt or damage, so it's acceptable. ## Environment The hotel has a golden hue, giving it a very retro feel. We stayed on the 19th floor, and the view from the window was quite good. ## Service What I can't understand is that after we extended our stay for another night, we left in the afternoon. About half an hour before we left, the cleaning lady asked if we wanted the room cleaned. We said yes, but a bit later. When we left, the cleaning lady was cleaning the room next door. However, when we returned in the evening, we found that the room hadn't been cleaned at all. None of the toiletries or drinking water had been replenished, which meant we didn't have enough shampoo and shower gel when we showered. It was quite late then, and we were too tired to go to the front desk for new supplies.

Pretty good! The price on Saturday was around 900 yuan, which is a very reasonable price for peak season. For the same price in HK, you'd only get a 10-square-meter room, so this is excellent. My only regret is that they didn't proactively inform me about the free airport shuttle when I checked in. A taxi here showed 51 on Gaode Maps, but I actually paid 69. Everything else was great!

Hotel is easily from taipa ferry terminal by taking buses AP1 and 36. Many eateries around the area. Walking distance to taipa walking street where there are lots of food, souvenirs and specialities deom macau. It is a distance (20 min) from the venetian and Galaxy hotels but you can walk through the taipa street. There is a LRT station opposite Galaxy hotels. The room is spacious and the hotel upgraded my room. They also have free shuttle service to gongbei border if you want to go to Zhuhai. The only problem is the musty smell in the hotel foyer and along the corridor. There are also not enough hangers in the toilet to hang your clothes. Came for a concert. I have to say, getting around was super convenient. Right downstairs there's a restaurant called 'Yang Zhi Jin Lao' and a bus stop. Taking the bus loop made it easy to get anywhere. However! They said check-in was at 3 PM! We arrived at 3:45 PM and had to wait quite a while in the lobby... And then I still had to rush to finish a proposal before going to the concert. So frustrating!

The hotel is genuinely convenient, located right across the road from the airport's departure hall. The rooms are spacious, but as it's an older hotel, the facilities are dated and there's a musty smell in the room, which might bother some guests. Taxis and the hotel shuttle are also very convenient. The shuttle, locally known as a shared van, is free for everyone and runs every 15-20 minutes.

It is a really old hotel and it has been renovated in sometime, but the thing that makes this place of steel is the attached resort. A great find if you're looking to relax and get away from the over air-conditioned adult oriented pressure cooker of the casinos on the strip. The breakfast buffet offers a little bit of everything including Western favourites, Chinese items and even some Indian choices.

Walking into the room, I was pleasantly surprised! It was so tidy, clean, and bright. I honestly didn't expect much from a hotel so close to the airport, but everything I saw was lovely. The view from the window was also refreshing. Even though it's practically next door to the airport, it wasn't noisy at all; it was very quiet at night. Getting around was super convenient too. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time!

This was my second stay at the Asia Boutique Hotel, and it's right on Rua do Cunha. The hotel's environment and facilities are pretty standard. On the last day, you can store your luggage and go shopping. Besides the snack stalls, Rua do Cunha itself and the surrounding alleys and main roads have a plethora of traditional tea restaurants and Portuguese restaurants that are well worth a visit. After dinner, you can take a stroll from Rua do Cunha along the Taipa Houses-Museum wetlands to reach the Venetian, Londoner, and Parisian. There are buses right outside the hotel that go directly to the Peninsula, Senado Square, and Monte Fort. For coastal attractions in Coloane and the Macau airport, the metro is also a direct ride away. Its prime location is definitely its strongest point. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it!
