EExplore the world with JosephThis was my first stay at Mercure Miri City Centre, and it left me with a very positive impression and a pleasant experience overall. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The room was cozy, with sufficient space to move around comfortably, and the housekeeping service was done very well. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Miri. As a nice bonus, the hotel even offered complimentary gelato ice cream during check-in—such a delightful treat!

GGuest UserLocation-wise is superb because its in the middle of the city, most places are walkable / cheap grab fees because near to everywhere.
Cleanliness is good. Facilities understandable, even though looks like old furniture but the bed and mattress is heaven. I love the sleeping experience.
Service was 5 star too, because i arrived earlier than expected but the receptionist is very helpful and managed to help me check in to a just-checked-out room as early as 10.30am, even when i said i was willing to wait.
Overall experience, good and will repeat this hotel.

JJennifer YentyThe unit where we stayed is clean, have a breathtaking full view of the sea. Miss Nisa is very helpful to inform me the unit that we supposed to stay according to my booking have problem with their air-conditioning. So she change it to another unit. We really enjoy staying at Bay Resort. We can brisk walk and sight seeing. There's a lot of Chinese restaurants nearby too. Its a great experience to us as this is our first time coming and staying in Miri. This place is recommended to travellers with families who loved beaches and love to listen to the sound of the waves.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, there was a hot shower and check in check out was easy breezy. The hotel is a golf resort but I would come back here again if I needed a place to stay before catching a flight from Miri airport . It's approximately 10 minutes car ride to get to the airport from the hotel. You can get transfer from hotel to airport by Hotel transport at rate RM25. They also had a water dispenser out in the corridor and provided a jug in case you don't have our own water bottles. I especially love this as I feel it's more environmentally friendly.
The only thing was their room service closed at 9 pm so if you're checking in later than 9, you'll need to think of where to get your meals. I ordered through Grabfood and had no problem.

MMohd Hafadzie Ag SallehStaying for 3 days and 2 nights at the hotel. Everything is good especially the room due to the deluxe room being full & upgraded to a premier room 😍😊
But the bad thing is, the receptionist is kinda gloomy & unwilling to solve the problem. On the first night staying, i still didn't sleep & forgot to lock the door. Luckily the door guard is intact, and i heard someone trying to open the door. The next morning, I requested to see CCTV footage to know who the one opening our door room was. But the receptionist said, ”oh we wrongly gave the room key last night to the guest”.. that's not the answer to what we want.. that means the hotel is not secure at all for a guest to stay.
On the 2nd day, i already set the button for the make up room, but no housekeeping doing make up room after back from Bazaar Gawai late night.. and i ask the receptionist and they answer ”Oh, we fully book & need to clean the room ASAP & didn't do make up room” 😅 is that an excuse not to do make up room??
All the time I'm going to the receptionist, the same receptionist is not smiling at all 😅😅
For the facility, everything is good but no phone in the room 🤣 so it's hard to reach reception or housekeeping.

The front office staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right to choose and ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I was also pleased with the amenities provided, including fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel's location was ideal, conveniently situated near local attractions and public transportation is easy to call. It made exploring the area so much easier.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience at a great value. I look forward to returning on my next visit!
