Hotels in Nymphenburg Palace, Munich

It was very close to Nymphenburg Palace, so I chose this one. It was built in 1986 (the weather vane of the roof can see the year). It was converted from a residential building, so there is no air conditioning (no German air-conditioned residential buildings). The room is small, with a fan, a small fridge and no electric kettle. If you have large luggage or a large guest, you may feel that the room is too small and it is not convenient to turn around. The room is decorated in a retro style, the wardrobe is made of logs and the bed is a copper bed. The bathroom is also small. Although I live on the first floor, I am curious that the water pressure in the shower is still not stable. When the shower is open, the water flow is hot and cold, and the adjustment to the middle is more stable but not too hot (it seems to need fine adjustment). The hotel itself is in a residential area, so it takes a few streets to walk through the S1 (Laim station) or the tram 16/17 and the bus 51. There are edeka supermarkets around 7 or 8 minutes from the hotel. It is only a 5-minute walk from Nymphenburg Palace, and it is a good choice to spend the weekend there. The nearby Michelin restaurant schwaige nymphenburg is also great, and it is often full at dinner. Due to the residential area, the surrounding environment is very quiet, but the sound insulation of the room is not very good. The anteroom and restaurant are very nice and breakfast may be available at an extra charge. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good, whether it is the front desk, the boss or the cleaning aunt is very friendly. Special thanks to the proprietress, who is in urgent need of rushing to the airport but can't find a taxi (German tram bus strike), and the peers are still ankles, they are willing to drive us to S1 station, and take the initiative to help us to smash our big bags. My room was on the 1st floor of the hotel and the room was elegantly furnished and practical. The beds were soft and comfortable, allowing me to have a good dream every night. The facilities in the room were clean and tidy, which added a lot of convenience to my stay.

I had high expectations based on the high ratings. When I checked in, I felt the receptionist, a white man at the front desk, was polite but a bit cold. The room I was assigned faced the Handshake Building across the street. I politely requested a change and was given a top-floor room. It was not bad, but the room was small overall because it was in a historic building in a central area. The hotel is conveniently located, and the breakfast was elegant, but it was all cold.

The location is very good, within walking distant to public transport. Easy to move around & can hire bike services which is in the same row as the hotel. Very friendly reception staff, allow us to check-in early. Good breakfast & we enjoy our stay at the hotel.

Das Hotel hat wirklich eine tolle Lage, wenn man viel zu Fuß erkunden möchte. Der Service hatte die Sachen für mein Hunf auf dem Zimmer vergessen, das war etwas schade und kompliziert, weil ich den Sachen über die App hinterherlaufen musste, da kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist und man alles über das online Portal machen muss. Der Preis für die Mitnahme vom Hund ist jedoch absolut fair und die Sachen sind auch top, als Sie dann gebracht wurden (Bett und zwei Näpfe). Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig, man kann das Fenster öffnen. Es fehlt nur definitiv eine Bar/ ein Kühlschrank.

The room was very old, and we stayed at the neighboring street at night. The bathroom space is too small, barely enough to take a thin bath. But the front desk was very good, and gave us a small Christmas gift before leaving. Hotel location is good, it is convenient to walk to the sights. The breakfast here is still great, the waiter's little brother is super handsome.
