Location: The hotel is directly opposite PARCO (Daimaru Department Store), and Shinsaibashi subway station is right downstairs. The location is absolutely superb. It's also conveniently close to Shinsaibashi, about a 300-meter walk away, offering a mix of luxury brands, small shops, and trendy labels. The biggest surprise was that I originally planned to go to Midosuji to see the illuminated night view, but after shopping in Shinsaibashi in the evening, I saw it on the way back to the hotel – it was so close! There are also many dining options nearby, making it easy to find a meal. Plus, it's convenient for breakfast and snacks, with a 7-Eleven right behind the hotel. For someone who loves shopping like me, staying here was an absolute delight!
Service: They are very friendly to Chinese guests, and check-in at the front desk was seamless.
Accommodation: The room was small, but well-equipped, and I felt it offered great value for money. After all, we were out exploring all day and just came back to shower and sleep. The room's soundproofing seemed good too; our room was very close to the elevator but it wasn't noisy. If you're traveling with children, I'd recommend choosing a larger room type.
The only downside is probably that there are a lot of both local and international tourists, which can make it feel a bit chaotic and noisy. It's perfect for first-time visitors to Osaka.
This was my first stay in an airport hotel. Before my stay, I could not understand why travelers choose such hotels.
In my particular case, I had a morning flight at 9 a.m. It takes approximately 1 hour to get to the airport from Osaka Central Station. Hence, I had to wake up early. Besides this, I wanted to have a shopping day at Rinku Outlet, which is 1 station away from the airport. To complete my plan, Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport was a perfect solution. I arrived in the morning, left my luggage, and went to Rinku Outlet (by the way, there is a bus going from the airport to Rinku Outlet).
The hotel looks very nice—clean, spacious rooms, very kind personnel speaking English. There is a self-checkout procedure, which saves your time in the morning. You just go directly to the airport terminal without putting your jacket on. Additionally, I would like to point out that there are a lot of nice restaurants in the airport where you can have dinner or breakfast.
I will definitely stay at the hotel once again when traveling to Osaka.
