The room had a few drawbacks: 1. The shower door didn't close properly, so a lot of water would flow out onto the sink area when showering. This could be a slip hazard. 2. For a large hotel, I'd expect basic first-aid supplies to be available for common minor ailments. 3. The hot water for the shower wasn't hot enough, though thankfully the weather wasn't too cold. The service, however, was quite good. Requests for drinks, towels, or slippers were handled promptly. Considering it was during the Chinese New Year period, the value for money was quite good. The hotel is directly opposite the Shanghai Futures Exchange, so I imagine it's a popular choice for business travelers in the finance industry.
