STARWAY Hotels in Shanghai

I took my mother to Changhai Hospital for a checkup and looked at many hotels near the hospital before deciding to try Xingcheng. It exceeded my expectations! It's part of the Huazhu Hotels Group, a ten-minute walk from the hospital. During the Spring Festival, it was less crowded, the breakfast had a wide variety of options, and there was even a laundry room. Staying at Xingcheng was as convenient as staying at home. Special praise to the cleaning staff on duty during the Spring Festival; their service was excellent and thoughtful. I checked and found that Xingcheng has many branches nationwide, giving me another option for future trips.

The room was quiet and clean. The receptionist was very welcoming. I woke up late and the restaurant was already being cleaned up, but the auntie (staff member) was so thoughtful and even made two bowls of noodles for me.

you get what you pay for. the hotel was old but relatively clean. the only issue we encountered was mold on the bathroom ceiling and sink and difficulty finding the free shuttle from disneyland, we ended up ordering a didi as we couldn’t find it. the breakfast buffet is big and is mainly chinese food and staff were nice but did not speak english so had to use translate. disneyland is less than 10 minutes away by car

My experience in that hotel is very positive. The room is clean and very spacious. In addition, the hotel is nearby the hongqiao railway station and the hongqiao international airport. The only exception is that we couldn't have our breakfast due to the spring festival holiday

The stay was quite pleasant. The entrance smelled wonderful, there was complimentary freshly ground coffee in the lobby, the front desk service was excellent, the hotel environment was nice, and the room I stayed in was also very good—clean, hygienic, and well-lit. I especially recommend the breakfast on the 21st floor; it was excellent, especially the bowl of noodles. I would definitely stay here again next time.
