GGuest UserHad the most ridiculous incident here that soured my entire experience. The room was great. Location is further from metro than you think, but since it's near many malls it's still pretty convenient. But this one incident completely ruined my impression of this hotel. Due to whatever miscommunication or terrible protocols they have, they completely wasted my food delivery order. I had ordered food and drinks for lunch, and the usual thing is they'll get a robot to deliver it up to your room. My food arrived fine. My drink however, was taking much longer than usual. An hour after I already confirmed the drink had arrived at the hotel (delivery rider sent me a confirmation picture) I called the front desk to ask. They assured me they saw my order (with my room number on it) in the waiting queue and that it would be up shortly. I waited another 1.5 hrs. Nothing. At this point I had already given up. I gave them a pass, thinking someone probably made a mistake. No big deal. The same day, at night, I ordered drinks again. Same thing. The delivery rider had already confirmed the drinks had reached the hotel. But even after waiting for 1 hr, nothing. At this point my patience had expired and I went down to find out what was going on. Interestingly, both delivery robots were sitting in the lobby. Unused. And I noticed there were 2 separate drink orders with my room number. Someone who seemed like the manager approached me. He told me I had two orders. Unbelievably, one of them was the afternoon drink order that never reached my room. He claimed it was never sent up because I did not answer the front desk's phone call. I was flabbergasted. Sure, I may have missed a phone call as I was bathing in the morning, but isn't it common courtesy to call until you reach me? Or if the service is as amazing as some of the reviews claim, they could've sent it up to my room? Not withstanding the fact that I had called the front desk that morning to check where my order was! Regardless, that wasn't the most ridiculous part. My current drink order was just sitting there, no action was being taken to ensure it was sent up to my room. The exact same issue was repeating, and no one gave a rat's ass about it. If I hadn't come down to find out what was going on, the drinks would've been wasted again. And yes, I say wasted, because I bought milk tea, so past a certain time it's not safe to drink it anymore. The order is printed clear as day on the outside of the delivery bag. Any staff member who cared enough about their guest's food order or just about not wasting food would've made more effort to contact me. But no. They repeated the same mistake, twice, on the same day. This lack of detail and common sense is really disappointing for a hotel that I was initially wowed by in terms of the room and amenities. I would've been fine to come down and collect my food orders myself, and I've done so at plenty of other hotels that didn't have the robot delivery, but I trusted this hotel to deliver and even gave them a pass the first time based on belief that it could've been a genuine mistake. But to make such a mistake again, and the gall of the manager to imply it was my fault for somehow not picking up their call, is just rude and inexcusable.

GGuest UserWhen I came to Huinan this time, I decisively chose Heyitang Hotel. The whole check-in experience exceeded my expectations. Whether it is transportation, environment, service or supporting facilities, it is impeccable. I sincerely recommend it to friends who come to Huinan for business trips and parent-child trips. The geographical location of the hotel is excellent. It is only 200 metres away from Huinan Subway Station, and you can walk to the station in a few minutes. You don't have to travel with your luggage at all. Located in the core area of Huinan, there are all kinds of supermarkets and restaurants downstairs. It is very convenient to go shopping and look for food. Self-driving guests don't have to worry about parking. The hotel is equipped with free large parking lots and sufficient parking spaces. What's more surprising is that the hotel provides a free shuttle bus, which goes directly to the Safari Park, Haichang Ocean Park and Pudong Airport. It is particularly worry-free to take your children to play and transfer and check in, saving a lot of trouble. The decoration of the lobby is elegant, the new Chinese design is simple and high-end, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows are well-lit, and the rest area is spacious and comfortable. When checking in, the front desk staff is gentle and polite, and the processing speed is fast. They also take the initiative to inform the surrounding travel routes. There is a timely response to demand, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. The room I stayed in was spacious, and the sound insulation of the whole house was very good, and I couldn't hear the noisy traffic in the street-facing room. The soft decoration texture of the whole house is online, the floor-to-ceiling windows have a wide view, overlooking the scenery of Huinan City; the mattress is soft and moderate, the pillow is fluffy, and the sleeping feeling is comparable to the clouds, the washing area is dry and wet, the bathroom supplies are complete, the whole house is clean, there is no dust and odour on the floor, the bottom of the bed and the corner, the cloth is white and dry, and the hygiene standard is full. The hotel's supporting facilities are very complete. The buffet breakfast on the second floor is rich in categories. Freshly cooked noodles, snacks, fruits and hot dishes are all available, and the taste is authentic. The internal gym equipment is complete, and you can do simple exercise between games. There is also a children's playground, so you will no longer be afraid of children's boredom. The self-service laundry is open for free, long-distance travel. It is very convenient to wash clothes. The overall cost performance is extremely high. Whether it is a business trip or a family parent-child trip, it is suitable for new facilities, considerate service and convenient transportation. Next time you come to Huinan, you will definitely choose this Heyitang Hotel, which is also recommended to all tourists who come to Huinan, Pudong

GGuest UserWe stayed with two children, and they upgraded us to a Little Yellow Duck themed room, which the kids absolutely loved. The complimentary scheduled shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. On our first day, we wanted to go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Just as we were about to call a taxi, the shuttle driver told us he could take us directly and advised us not to bother with a taxi, which was super convenient. Heartwarming late-night snack: We could enjoy a late-night snack after returning to the hotel. They offered mini wontons and mixed noodles. The mini wontons were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed them. Cleanliness: Overall, it was excellent! Minibar all-you-can-drink: There were sodas, and for the kids, oat milk and cookies. The cookies were incredibly tasty! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering it directly to the room. Another shout-out to the hotel: I accidentally booked an extra room on another platform but forgot about it. The hotel proactively contacted me, which was very considerate, and they even refunded me in the end. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.

CCanghaiguanlanI chose this hotel because it's close to the visa center I needed to visit, and it's quite new, opening in 2025. When I arrived, it seemed quite busy, and my room wasn't ready. They offered a larger room on a higher floor if I was willing to wait. So I waited in the lobby for about an hour, and they brought me a fruit platter. For Shanghai, where space is at a premium, the room size was decent, so that's something to keep in mind when booking. While waiting for my sister, which took quite a while, I went to the 4th-floor gym. It was very small, with only one treadmill (which I used) and an elliptical machine; I'm not sure what the other piece of equipment was. After an hour of working out, I went back to my room, and my sister had arrived. We then went out for a walk. It's very close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, but we didn't find anything we really wanted to eat, so we grabbed a quick bite before heading to the visa center, which, as expected, was very close. The next morning, breakfast started at 7 am. After eating, we walked to the visa center again. When we got back, I asked one of the front desk ladies if the coffee candies in the lobby were available for purchase because they were delicious. When we checked out, they actually gave us a bag of them! Later, I found out they're sold on Taobao, haha, what a discovery! The front desk ladies were very enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff on my floor were also polite and very helpful. The location is convenient, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

CClaire_PanFinding a hotel this time around took ages, and a lot of the reviews I saw weren't great, including other Huazhu hotels. Even though this place had decent reviews and a friend recommended it, I was still a bit nervous before checking in. **Environment:** The hotel entrance felt a little cramped, but once inside, it instantly felt comfortable. The light, minimalist style is exactly what I like. The room layout was also very pleasant; the lighting and space were both great. **Facilities:** The room had a coffee machine ☕ which was very convenient, and a fridge (with soft drinks inside). The lobby also had water brewed by the hotel itself. **Hygiene:** Very clean! This was my biggest concern, and I gave it a thorough look-over as soon as I entered. **Service:** I was genuinely impressed with the service this time. Staff members would actively approach and ask if I needed anything if we made eye contact, always with a smile. The cleaning lady even politely greeted me with a 'Good morning' as I left my room and asked, 'May I clean the room now?' Just a minor point: the front desk staff said the room they arranged had a better view (facing the golf course), but all I saw was a messy rooftop 🤣. However, it was quiet, which was a plus and didn't affect my overall satisfaction. **Food:** The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, covering Chinese and Western styles, coarse grains, fine noodles, and fruits. If you're not looking for steak for breakfast, it's perfectly adequate for a regular meal (didn't get a full photo, but there's also a coffee machine and toaster 🍞).

KKCLim67Hotel was good with clean room and excellent service. This hotel do not have a proper pick up and drop off, hence have to do it at next building without shelter. We were very unlucky as it was raining during our check out rushing to airport and got wet. Next was the restaurant for breakfast. Never expect its was like a 2 stars hotel breakfast environment. The breakfast spread was fine with a coffee machine. They do have a coffee machine at lobby for free serving 24 hours. There is a convenient store just beside the hotel but not operate 24hrs. Another postive was the Metro station just opposite the hotel.

They also provide airport shuttle service and transportation to Disneyland. For the price, this hotel is definitely worth it! Highly recommended.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel last minute for the May Day holiday, mainly because of the price. For just over 800 yuan, it included three breakfasts, and the location was great. I'd heard of this hotel a long time ago; it's a star-rated hotel from the reform and opening-up era, so I figured it might be a bit old now. Going in with low expectations definitely paid off! The transportation is convenient, and the surroundings are pleasant. Stepping into the lobby, you get that classic, old-school star hotel vibe, and it's very well-maintained. I was incredibly lucky to get a room with a view, and even better, one overlooking the Oriental Pearl Tower! I slept wonderfully, and breakfast was abundant. That's why I'm giving it a full five-star rating! You can tell from the photos how valuable this room was. I suspect this used to be an executive suite, it's large and luxurious, even with an entryway. In short, what could be better than lying on the sofa and enjoying the night view of the Oriental Pearl Tower (until its lights went out)? Great value for money! I'll definitely be back!

ἈστραῖοςLocated in the heart of Shanghai's historic Juxingchang area, the former guesthouse of Air Force Unit 4 holds an unmissable and pivotal position in modern Chinese history. To be honest, I was initially hesitant; I had originally booked the Yan'an Hotel, but was persuaded by the travel agency to switch to this place. On the eve of the 24th anniversary of '913' (September 13th), I was in the attic room here, rushing to meet my school deadlines. On the evening of September 13th, Shanghai was hit by a heavy downpour. My family and I were having dinner at the adjacent Xi Family Garden. We borrowed two umbrellas from Manager Zhang at the front desk, one of his own and one from a colleague. I'm truly grateful for this trust, and also want to thank Manager Zhang for his thoughtful service over the past two days.

GGuest UserThis hotel is good and modern. Clean and well looked after. The staff here are very nice and friendly. The TV is big and there is a small fitness room that has a set of weights, one bench and a treadmill. Notes The toilet is overly fancy and causes a lot of light. It uses buttons for everything and I had to translate them. At night the light changes colour and is very disruptive to sleep. I unplugged it at night to stop this. The location is fine but nothing really in the area other than the train station, however Shanghai is a bit like that anyway.
