My primary reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the 'Nanjing Photo Studio' filming location. I searched for nearby hotels, and Strich stood out as the best option – and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel's unique architecture, reminiscent of a miniature Wukang Building, is incredibly photogenic. I was even upgraded to a twin-bed suite. While not spacious, the suite felt compact yet exquisitely designed, and the cleanliness was impeccable. You can truly tell it's a new hotel; the facilities and hygiene are absolutely top-notch. It was also quite entertaining to watch some short dramas being filmed on-site. The biggest advantage is its incredibly close proximity to the film studio, which made everything so convenient. The hotel even provided complimentary tickets, which was a fantastic bonus and great value. Finally, a huge compliment to the service – both the front desk staff and the butler service were exceptional! My only suggestion would be to perhaps offer a slightly wider variety of dishes at the restaurant and to enhance the flavors a bit.

First and foremost, I commend the professionalism and responsiveness of all the hotel staff. We traveled to Shanghai to attend the Rolex Masters. The hotel is located not far from the Qizhong Tennis Center and we stayed for four nights. On the first and second mornings, the children upstairs kept running and screaming, making it impossible to rest. I contacted Ctrip customer service and the hotel front desk and received satisfactory responses. On the second night, my daughter experienced intermittent cold water outages while showering in the bathroom, resulting in burns. Upon contacting the front desk, they said it was a malfunction in the cold water tank. They immediately provided burn medicine for the child. Since it was an equipment issue, not a human error, the staff on duty promptly provided medicine, which I understand and forgive. The breakfast variety was acceptable, but the beverages were not replenished promptly. The beverage area was not restocked half an hour in advance. The back kitchen was frequently visited by hotel management (non-operational staff) in plain clothes, which seemed very unprofessional. The hotel is newly renovated, and with that, there's a strong odor from the renovations. Although there are odor removal devices in the hallways, the room still smells strongly. The 80-square-meter family room only had windows on one side of the main bedroom. The small bedroom had curtains, but they were decorative and windowless. We purchased activated carbon bags ourselves, and after consulting with the front desk, they provided a small air purifier. Summary: The hotel's front-line staff were very dedicated, responsible, and professional. However, departmental coordination needs improvement. The person in charge should act like a good boss and leave specialized tasks to the professionals. There's no need to do everything yourself and end up making mistakes. I hope the hotel will be better when I return to watch the game next year. PS: The indicator light in the hotel elevator seems to be wired upside down. 😢
