2-Star Hotels in Hualien

This is a great place to stay if you're exploring Hualien City! It's just a 2-minute walk to Beibin Park, so you can go see the ocean whenever you like. From the room, you can enjoy beautiful mountain views of Hualien. The lobby offers a variety of complimentary snacks, instant noodles, fruit, coffee, and tea. There's even a free massage chair in the attic to relax in. The breakfast is also delicious, and if you're in a hurry, they can pack your main course to go. We stayed in a quad room (one double bed, one bunk bed with two single beds), which was perfect as my friend had a two-year-old and my other friend and I both prefer our own beds. Having an elevator was a huge plus, making it easy to handle luggage or travel with a child, although there are a few steps due to the elevated design. The floors were impeccably clean; I forgot my indoor slippers but walking barefoot was very comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the lobby air conditioning isn't always on, so it can get a bit stuffy and warm in the evenings. Other than that, I absolutely loved the ambiance, location, and the incredibly friendly and responsive staff.

It is basically a mansion sitting in an exclusive neighbourhood. The location is excellent! It sits on high ground overlooking the city and you can view the sunrise from the balcony early in the morning. At night you can sit outside the garden and watch the city lights while sipping on a cold beer. The best thing about the place is the owner. He was very hospitable and drove us into town and back! In the morning we had a 5 course breakfast before setting off.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The room facilities were brand new, the mattress was just the right firmness and I slept incredibly well, and the toiletries in the bathroom were also very high-quality. Most importantly, the service was truly heartwarming; the staff were always smiling, which made the trip even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a hotel with great value for money and excellent service, this is the place to go! I highly recommend it!

The environment is quiet and clean, enjoy the pastoral style, the air is fresh, the nearby trails are swimming, very leisurely is a good place to relax, next time you have the opportunity to come to Hualien, you will stay again.

As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and welcomed. The room was cozy and perfectly clean, providing a great space to relax after a long day of exploring. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone traveling alone!

Very close to Ocean Park. Good service attitude, late arrivals also provide self-check-in, breakfast is delicious, comfortable environment ～～ The sky is full of stars at night, and the sea view is seen during the day.

I found a room on a temporary business trip This hot water is hot very quickly. There is hot water in three seconds. The water volume is also very large It was arranged on the top floor that day. I was afraid it would be very hot. As a result, the air conditioner will be cold immediately after it goes on. Very quiet nearby But there is a lot of food in about5-10 minutes walk. The overall life function is not bad!

I think it is maybe easier for chinese people but for no chinese if you don't konw how to read it is difficult to make the check in. We arrived in the hotel but they were no one in the reception. So we wait like 30min, no clim, in the dark. The reception should be open at 4pm but there is no one. So we decide to scan the QR code on the desk all write in chinese. And after we got some message from the owner, who said that was self-checking. Its was easy after but they should told us before or put a sign.

Check-in convenience: Self check-in was quite convenient; communication via WeChat/Line was possible. The night market is a 10-minute walk away. Safety: Good location, very safe. Facilities: As pictured, a 'prison-style' experience, which I definitely felt. Hygiene: Hygiene was acceptable. Environment: The environment was unique, worth experiencing.

It's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights. It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it. The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points. On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
