4-Star Hotels in Hualien

Although the guesthouse was small, the rooms were spacious and all amenities were provided. What was particularly great was the tourist information provided after checking in. The tourist map was handwritten with explanations of the sights, delicious restaurants, souvenirs, and recommended shops in the night market. There are so many shops in the night market, so the information was very useful for pinpointing the right ones. They offer free bicycle rentals, which were very useful for sightseeing in the city. The breakfast was also delicious, just the right amount and tasty.

The room is slightly different from the advertised photos and appears a bit older in reality. However, the hosts are very friendly and approachable, which made the stay more pleasant. The water dispenser is only available on Level 1, which can be a bit inconvenient. On the bright side, the hotel is within walking distance to Dongdamen Night Market, making it easy to explore the area.

This was a wonderful guesthouse. The owner was very welcoming and talkative, and proactively contacted me to let me know my approximate arrival time. I was very satisfied with everything in the room, and what I loved most was that it was just a short walk to the beach. The only downside was that we couldn't see the sunrise due to thick clouds. The breakfast was delicious, but unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures.

Had a great experience staying here. Really a very lovely property. It even had an elevator. Only one point to note was that for the kitchen there wasnt any stovetop so if you planned to cook something or heat something up on the stove well you can't. But other than that the stay was very comfortable and the location was excellent. Quite a lot of food options that is walking distance.

The environment in the manor is very good, with green grass, swaying trees, streams and fish ponds, and a row of tent rooms in the distance. During the day, lying on the lawn with the blue sky and white clouds reflecting each other can make people forget the hustle and bustle of the world and feel refreshed. There is no light pollution at night, and you can see the bright stars of the Milky Way. It happens to be a full moon night, it feels like being on earth! The guest rooms in the main building are spacious, clean and sanitary. The water is pure natural hot spring water with excellent water quality. After soaking, your skin feels very smooth and comfortable. The manor is about an 8-minute drive from Ruisui Station. Around 9 pm, almost all the surrounding restaurants close, making it most convenient for self-driving tourists. For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western set meals, with juice, coffee, and milk tea available, and the portions are definitely sufficient. It would be perfect if the employees could add a little more initiative and enthusiasm. so cool! An ideal place to recharge your batteries for a short getaway, will definitely come back.

Great experiance at The moment by lakeshore! The kids were thrilled by the bunk beds with curtains and privet hangers and lights 😅 It's a complex of buildings by lakeshore, we had a room with amazing mountains and gardens view. The auto check in station was simple to understand and operate, and suitable for us, since we arrived quite late. The room design is very cool, everything worked, good water pressure. The shower is separated from the toilet, so it's comfy for friends staying together. For us as a family it didn't matter. Everything in the minibar was included in the room price, and I tried the cold brew teas, they were excellent! The breakfast was served in the hotel building next to our hotel, from the same owner. Great buffet, large variety and even marked for allergies! The hotel has a parking area close by, and it's about 10 minutes drive to Taroko visitors center. All in all, I recommend this hotel for short stays, if you are with 3 or 4 kids take the bunk beds room for 6, we really enjoyed it.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our visit. Azure Hotel is strategically located, with Dong Da Men Night Market just a short walk away, which was very convenient. On top of that, the hotel provides complimentary parking for guests, which was a very convenient bonus for us.

Stayed at this hotel recently. The place is generally clean and the location is convenient. However, there are a couple of concerns. The metal fixtures around the property were noticeably rusty, which made the overall maintenance feel lacking. In addition, there’s no key card access required for lifts to individual floors, which raises some security concerns. Overall, an average stay, but both maintenance and security could be improved.

The location is convenient and close to the city. The exterior is beautiful and the garden makes people feel relaxed. However, the parking lot is too far from the hotel building. The beds are comfortable and the TV equipment is new.

Nice hotel and very close to Xincheng train station where there is also a regular free bus to Hualien and Taroko (around once an hour until mid afternoon). There's also a paid bus that goes more regularly to the Taroko visitor centre. Whilst it's close the the station, there's nothing much else here. It's 1km walk to the closest 7-11 or Familymart and even further to a restaurant in the old street. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food was nice, but it closes at 7:30.
