Ppym106Not the best value for money. We booked it because we thought it would be near the airport but the airport is still very far away by both taxi and public transport so if you are in the same situation I would advise you book a different hotel. Nonetheless the receptionists are friendly and the room is just fine.

JJohnny-YOONEven though my room didn't have a window, it was perfectly fine for my needs since I was out all day and only came back in the evenings. The hotel is close to Taoyuan Station with lots of shops nearby. The airport shuttle bus stop is just a short walk away. There are also two department stores and a long-distance bus station close by. The price was great, and the front desk lady was always enthusiastic about recommending tourist spots. The oolong tea bags in the room were delicious, and the hairdryer was lightweight and easy to use. The mattress was also incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely be back next time. Thank you!

CChang987654321My stay at the Central Hotel was, in a nutshell, 'convenient and practical, but not luxurious.' The hotel's biggest draws are its location and price, making it ideal for short overnight stays or independent travelers.
The Central Hotel is situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance of major shopping areas and food streets. For backpackers and independent travelers, the location truly can't be beaten. With metro and train stations nearby, getting around to night markets or attractions is incredibly easy.
The room was generally clean, though of a medium size with a rather simple decor. The bedding and basic furniture were functional but lacked any sense of luxury. If you're looking for high-end accommodation or spacious, lavish rooms, this might feel a bit too ordinary.
Overall, the room's cleanliness was decent, but some details showed signs of age, such as marks on certain walls, furniture edges, or bathroom fixtures. In general, it felt clean but definitely not newly renovated.
It also came with two condoms.

ZZichiannStay here because we want to try out their “motel” AKA 汽車旅館 in Taiwan before we catch our early flight next day.
It’s convenient and good if you drive here. There’s smoking smell when I first entered the room but still tolerable. Room is a bit old. Blanket not so warm especially during winter hence night time a bit cold for us.
Overall good experience. Very suitable for couple to enjoy sweet moments together there. (IYKYK)

GGuest UserBooked a quad room and parking wasn't included. Had to pay 200 per night for parking next door, and since we had two cars, that was an extra 800. I would've been better off booking a star-rated hotel, it would've been cheaper and included a buffet breakfast! We did get breakfast, but since it was a weekday, it wasn't a buffet. It was just a set meal and drink per person. The Americano had sugar added and the latte wasn't good. The room was a bit humid and the wallpaper had some mildew stains, but overall it was fine, no strange smells, just a strong fragrance. The curtains suddenly fell down at night, but I managed to put them back up. For four people, there wasn't enough space for our belongings or to move around. The front desk staff weren't very friendly.

ささいたまのライチThis hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Taoyuan Station. The entrance isn't on the main street; you enter from the side. I found the side entrance easy to spot thanks to the electronic signboard.
It's not an entire building dedicated to the hotel; only the 9th floor is.
Unusually for this type of accommodation, they provided slippers, which was a nice touch.
Regarding the bathroom facilities, there's a bathtub, and you can fill it with hot water, but it does take some time.
Despite the exterior of the building, the room itself was solid and well-maintained. I'd recommend it, especially for solo travelers.

The location was a major plus, making the room more acceptable. It's not far from the train station or bus stops. You can easily walk to get food, convenience stores, or local restaurants. It's suitable for people who are out all day and just come back to sleep, not spending much time in the room.
In summary, this room is ideal for those on a budget or staying for a short period. Don't expect luxury hotel comfort; as long as it's safe, has water, electricity, and a bed, this room is “okay and livable,” but it won't make you feel like you wasted your money.
