"Our stay at City Suites was a fantastic experience! In terms of cleanliness, the room was spotless, the bedding was neat and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and odor-free, which made us feel very at ease. Regarding the environment, the soundproofing was good; although it's near the train station, we weren't bothered by the noise and got a peaceful night's sleep. The service was also very attentive; the staff were warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and any requests were quickly addressed. The facilities were complete and practical, with fast free Wi-Fi, conveniently located charging outlets, and good quality toiletries. We were [travel type], and the hotel's location is convenient, close to the station, making travel easy, and they even offer a free shuttle service, which saved us a lot of hassle. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would choose it again when I next visit Taoyuan. I highly recommend it to anyone needing accommodation near the station!"

"This hotel is rated five-star, but the rooms feel more like a four-star experience. Comfortable, but lacking a certain luxury. The price would be fair if it were positioned as a four-star hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast; it offered a good variety and tasted delicious, comparable to the Landis Hotel I stayed at the day before. It had more options but no smoked salmon. Pros: Good for an overnight stay near the airport, with a 25-minute bus ride to the terminal. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was reasonably comfortable, though the glossy duvet cover and sheets felt a bit low-end. Cons: The room facilities are quite old, probably a 15-year-old renovation. There are no power outlets by the bedside, so you have to use the hotel's slow charging device. Light leaks through the top of the curtains because the tracks aren't overlapped. The bathroom fan doesn't have an off button, but luckily, closing the door mostly blocks the sound. I was in a hurry checking in and out, so I didn't take any photos of the hotel. The picture is of a small fish tank on the hotel restaurant table, which was a nice little surprise."

"Fantastic! Facilities: Excellent and comprehensive. Cleanliness: Impeccable, absolutely spotless. Environment: Conveniently located. Service: Polite and friendly. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; I was extremely satisfied, absolutely nothing to complain about! I asked for a boiled egg and the staff immediately prepared one fresh for me 😉👍👍👍. Plus, the room had plenty of free snacks and free drinks in the fridge… truly amazing! And free parking too 👍👍👍."

"The room wasn't new and felt a bit dated. We also found there weren't enough charging outlets, and the TV wasn't a smart TV. However, the staff were polite. Regarding the hotel's location, it can be quite inconvenient if you're traveling with large luggage and need to take a bus from Taoyuan Train Station. I'd advise finding out about the bus stops closer to the hotel beforehand. Unfortunately, an adjacent building was undergoing exterior maintenance during our stay, and the noise disrupted our rest in the room."

About 09 station away from Airport Terminal 2 (A13). + 10 minutes walking to Zhongli Night Market (sell local food and some accessories, open start from 18:00 up) + Room very big. Newly refurbish, have bathup inside. We book families room, and got 02 kingsize bed inside. Notes : * dont googling this hotel at google maps, you will get lost.. when i arrive airport, and typing this hotel name, the result is exactly same name hotel, but far away from origin location. Open this hotel from trip.com , and take guidance navigation maps from there * this hotel doesn’t have big billboard name, so you have to take extra caution while looking for this hotel. Exactly besides of Laojie River station - Le Midi Hotel. Lobby at 30th floor. * this hotel located at Taoyuan Area, not in main city Taipei. Suitable for those who need short transit. i book this hotel because i have morning flight tomorrow at 09:00. MRT already open from 06:00, and only need 25minutes to reach airport. Really recomend this hotel!!"

"My stay at Monarch Plaza Hotel in Taoyuan was fantastic overall! The cleanliness was exceptional; the room was spotless and very comfortable, which made me feel completely at ease. The environment is elegant and grand, with public areas beautifully decorated, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, from check-in to check-out, and very quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive and modern; both the bedding comfort and bathroom amenities were excellent, completely exceeding my expectations. Even though it was just a two-night stay, I truly felt the hotel's dedication and quality. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to staying again!"

"It’s really near Taoyuan airport, which made our first night much more convenient bc we landed real late. The transportation is OK, only 2-3 mins walk to the train station. The room was fairly clean, everything was comfortable, we didn’t get itchy lying on the bed. Bathroom is small but pretty bright and clean, which was a huge plus. Also, for anyone who confused, it used to be named “hedo hotel” so when you do a search on Google Map it’s the same thing."

"I had stayed here before and returned again mainly due to the free airport transfer (only on weekdays and only until 2026/1/29) and convenience of location (just opp 7-11 and Poya, very short walk to PX mart grocery store). Important advice: if you are travelling with anything bigger than a cabin baggage, it is better to get their shared bathroom rooms, as I have stayed in their attached bathroom single room and it is a tight fit for luggage bigger than a cabin. Attached bathroom rooms are also in their old wing where I feel the lighting is quite dim and slightly more dated in the amenities. Photo here is for a shared bathroom single, in the new wing which feels newer. Shared bathroom is very clean, with both dry and wet showering area so you don’t have to worry about wetting your clothes."

"The location is quite a distance from Taoyuan HSR Station, about 850m walk. Nothing much nearby, just a Mc Donalds for grabbing a meal. The soundproofing is not so good. Should have taken the free ear plugs at the lobby. The shared bathroom is clean but there were some issues with locking the door. But the good thing is they provide some snacks (bread, tea and coffee) from 11pm onwards. Another plus point is they provide free airport drop-off at every 30 mins interval, applicable daily except Fri and Sat. You can request for it during check-in."

"This time, we booked the connecting family room again. The room was spacious and comfortable overall, and it even had a karaoke machine! The shower and toilet were separate, which was great as it meant no one would be disturbed. It's really ideal for a group of friends getting together. The breakfast also offered a variety of choices, and it was both plentiful and refined."
