Finally came to visit the Westin Daxi. As expected, the environment is good and the atmosphere is great. It is very suitable for families and children to have fun together. Staying for only one day is not enough. I didn’t get to use many facilities. Next time I come, I must stay for two days! !

This resort consists of a hotel and a golf resort. The rooms were spacious, the climate control was efficient, the rooms were clean and quiet. We had booked accomodation plus breakfast plus dinner. The food was chinese-style, i.e. for children from Europe who prefer western food, it might be difficult to find something they like. The room had a spacious fridge and cupboards. The bathroom was fine and had a japanese-style toilet with heated seat, heated water brush etc. The resort is not in town but outside. There are no nearby shopping facilities or restaurants. One can use the hotel restaurant, I believe almost the whole day. If you come as tourist, I would advise to use Uber or a rental car. The drive to Taoyuan center or airport is about 30-40 min, to Taipei about 40-60 min, depending in the traffic. The staff was not speaking English, but we rapidly solved all questions because they were so nice and helpful. The pool is smaller than shown in the advertising image. A good perspective was used.

I had a wonderful stay at Joyfultel Guishan Taoyuan with welcoming staff and a large sparkling clean , well-maintained room. The highlight of my stay was the delicious food at the hotel's restaurant, a beautiful Lilly pond at the courtyard and most important the outstanding customer service. I would like to give a special thanks to Jason, the manager of Joyfultel for his exceptional service during my stay 5-18-20 2023 at the hotel. I appreciate the effort and passion he puts into making sure that everything was just right. Jason's professionalism and dedication are definitely an asset to the hotel, and I look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommended.

Although the location of the hotel requires walking up a mountain road, it is not far from the highway interchange, making it convenient for guests who drive. I checked in at night (the reception hall is outside the hotel and next to the parking lot across the road, and is connected to room service). Except that the check in took a long time, I was very satisfied with the other parts. The two-person room was upgraded. The service staff on the shuttle bus who forgot to bring our umbrellas also kindly took us back to get them. Also, they turned on the heater as soon as we entered the room on a cold rainy day. These are all very satisfying reasons. The next morning I went to the cute Cat Cafe (breakfast is not included in the hotel, you need to pay for it and go by yourself). We are here for sightseeing. Found the motel on Google Map with excellent rating, so decided to give it a try. The facilities are pretty good. I enjoyed the spacious room and amenities variety. Cup cover is cute thou!

The location is near Zhongli Train Station, very accessible. The hotel is small but clean. The front desk and the dining area is at the 2nd level (not so convenient). There is a parking but machine operated. The bed is too soft and not comfortable… when you sit down on it you’ll be out-balanced and fall down the floor. I stayed here for 2 nights and was scheduled to stay again after a day in the south but cancelled it with the help of Trip. com Gail.
