"Our stay at City Suites was a fantastic experience! In terms of cleanliness, the room was spotless, the bedding was neat and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and odor-free, which made us feel very at ease. Regarding the environment, the soundproofing was good; although it's near the train station, we weren't bothered by the noise and got a peaceful night's sleep. The service was also very attentive; the staff were warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and any requests were quickly addressed. The facilities were complete and practical, with fast free Wi-Fi, conveniently located charging outlets, and good quality toiletries. We were [travel type], and the hotel's location is convenient, close to the station, making travel easy, and they even offer a free shuttle service, which saved us a lot of hassle. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would choose it again when I next visit Taoyuan. I highly recommend it to anyone needing accommodation near the station!"

"1. We checked in on Sunday, and the weekday promotion with breakfast was a great deal. 2. The breakfast was fantastic, with a choice of three main dishes (steak, prawns, or omelet) – the pasta was especially delicious. 3. The room's facilities were meticulously maintained. 4. The duvet cover was very wrinkled – it probably hadn't been changed, but there was an extra sheet separating it from us, so it was acceptable ^_^"

"I stayed at the Benz hotel for a 4 day shopping and foodie trip at the end of February 2026 and it turned out to be a gem. I arrived late around 23:00 and was greeted by a friendly staff that had my room ready. I had just taken a short 18 minute walk to the hotel from the A22 Laojie River Station where I arrived on the direct blue commuter train from the airport. At first I could not find the Benz hotel entrance, but after asking for directions I was pointed to the front desk of the Bentley hotel where on the wall behind the desk clerks are both hotel names, Bentley and Benz. When I had booked the room the Bentley was offered at a slightly higher cost, and seeing I was on a budget trip alone, I booked the Benz. After checking in, I was directed to the Benz hotel elevator around the corner of the front desk. Further down are the elevators for the Bentley,here is the noticeable difference between the two hotels, The Benz is one elevator approximately 3 feet by 6 feet, and the Bentley has 2 very large beautiful elevators. When I got to my room I did my normal checks for bugs, cleanliness and non-smell. All had passed with flying colors. The room was great with amenities and plenty in size. The bed was firm but not hard, the TV was hard to hear when the AC was running but besides those things it's a great deal and place to stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Healthy, fresh and hot and a new menu each day. It was more in the asian style and not like your western style, which I much prefer. The coffee machine was perfect and the selection of food was abundant. Overall I would stay again. Public transportation was close by, Taxi, Trains and bus stations within blocks and easy walking. The street has a lot of construction and could be rather intimidating, if you are not the type that can feel comfortable with the odd surroundings that are here."

"Stay here because we want to try out their “motel” AKA 汽車旅館 in Taiwan before we catch our early flight next day. It’s convenient and good if you drive here. There’s smoking smell when I first entered the room but still tolerable. Room is a bit old. Blanket not so warm especially during winter hence night time a bit cold for us. Overall good experience. Very suitable for couple to enjoy sweet moments together there. (IYKYK)"

"Even though it was a non-smoking room, there was a lingering smell of third-hand smoke. The sofa had noticeable dirt in its crevices that hadn't been cleaned, and the decor felt a bit dated. However, the hardware facilities were comfortable, and the breakfast selection was quite decent. It's definitely worth the price, and the location right next to Zhongli Night Market is excellent."

"The sofa had cigarette burns and looked like it hadn't been cleaned, so I didn't dare sit on it. I hope they can improve that. The pillows were soft but a bit too high for my comfort, so I hope that can also be addressed."

"The room was clean and the service was unobtrusive. There was a faint smell of smoke downstairs, but none upstairs. There are also a few small restaurants within walking distance. Downstairs, there were some character figurines for kids to take photos with. There aren't many public areas, but for the price, the bed was comfortable and there were no strange smells in the room, so I'd recommend it."

"Perfect location and well furnished. Two issues though: 1. The room has the lingering cigarette smell, which maybe is good for smokers, but not so much for non smokers. 2. The breakfast was quite below average. You can practically skip all the cooked food and just go for the bread and spread instead. We even tried the chocolate drink made by the machine but it was bland and diluted."
