GGuest UserVery welcoming and helpful staff! The bed is not what westerners would typically find comfortable, but I loved it and slept really well, and now I want a beanbag pillow back home. Great location for access to the grottoes and scenic area. A very cute and bright little girl made sure I had everything I needed, taking my food order and getting me a towel. I left feeling refreshed.

GGuest UserI stumbled upon this recommendation on another platform and booked it after checking the reviews. The standard room was clean and tidy, and the best part was that they provided convenient items like disposable face towels and bath towels – a really thoughtful touch. They also offer pick-up and drop-off service up the mountain. Although we were stopped outside the scenic area by a heavy rain, we still managed to catch a glimpse of it from afar, leaving a little regret for another trip. The owners were incredibly welcoming. I had called well in advance to inquire about getting up the mountain, and they carefully explained the time and route. Later, when we went to Xianren Cliff, they actively helped me find a solution and provided a lot of convenience. 👍🏻 I wish them great success in their business!

SShuijierdongThis guesthouse is run by a really nice couple. When we arrived at the scenic area entrance, the owner's wife drove out to guide us in. The guesthouse is about a kilometer from the Maijishan Grottoes entrance, and from there you have to walk. We originally booked a family room on the second floor, but after hearing us mention that my dad wasn't going to the grottoes because of his bad leg, and that we had our dog with us, the owner's wife gave us a private room on the first floor. It was very spacious. The whole family is so nice! We ordered dinner and they told us to go back to our room to rest, then called us when it was ready and brought it to the dining area. I genuinely recommend staying here if you're visiting Maijishan. We went in the morning when it wasn't crowded, and by the time we came out, it was barely 10 AM and they were already starting to control the flow of people at the ticket gate. The grotto steps are high and narrow, so you can only go one by one. Those who go in later will probably have a very long wait.

GGuest UserLocation: There is a slope on the side of the road. Just walk down the slope and you will arrive.
Transportation: It’s very convenient. It’s right inside the scenic spot. The boss will pick you up and drop you off when you go up and down.
Facilities: The room is large, there are many wireless stations, and the signal is good
Environment: Clean and tidy, not too noisy, just right
Scenery: It is very beautiful in the morning and evening, and there is a creek behind it
Service: The boss is very accommodating, the lady boss is very kind, and the fried dishes are delicious.
Breakfast is 10 yuan per person and can fill you up. Overall, it is a good experience. I will stay here again next time I come.

JJuvieJPerfect location right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Tianshui. Within walking distance to the ancient city.
Rooms are spacious for our family. Very clean and modern. Our rooms are serviced well every day. The only downside is the smell of cigarette smoke in one of our rooms. Also, cigarette smell emanates from the aircon, so we had the aircon off the whole time and opened the window instead.
Love having the laundry room and library area which we made good use of.
Thanks for the receptionist staff who helped us through booking a car despite the language barrier.

CChezzaThis new hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The new facilities were clean and tidy. The bedroom was temperature controlled, which was great in the cold winter. I especially liked the little table area to relax next to the bed. In the lobby, there were also free password locked luggage storage units that are convenient if you need somewhere to store your luggage for a few hours after check out. As well as that, I was surprised to find the washing machine and dryer in the lobby were also free for use. I communicated with staff in Chinese (I didn't even try to use English) and they were always happy to help. I think I would have, however, appreciated a little more information on check in as I only realized as I was leaving that I hadn't taken advantage of the free breakfast...and didn't know how to access it.

GGuest UserI highly recommend the hotel!!! The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is very good and the hotel is beautiful! There is a museum inside, it is definitely such an authentic and incredible experience!
Moreover, the location of the hotel is very convenient only 5km to Majishan and next to other beautiful places on the mountains.
We book a room with shared toilets, the room was very clean, the toilets so so but there is also private room if you want. A very good price / quality ratio

CChezzaThis hotel was perfect for my needs. I was looking for a clean and convenient budget hotel not far from the long distance bus station and town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, although as expected they didn't speak English (which is what I expected). I slept soundly, enjoyed the hot shower and had a good stay in Zhangjiachuan partly thanks to this hotel. Overall, it is typical of the older type of budget hotel I have stayed at in China.
