"This was the second Mercure hotel on our trip, and overall, the facilities were quite good.
**Facilities:** The hotel is well-equipped. The lobby is clean and bright. As expected from an Accor property, the decor style and design elements are largely consistent. What truly stood out was that on each floor's common area, right outside the elevator, there was a row of complimentary bottled water. This is quite rare in other hotels and very convenient for guests to grab. Breakfast is served on the 21st floor, offering a panoramic view and a great sense of openness. On another note, staying on the 14th floor, the water pressure was a bit low, and the shower felt like it didn't have enough flow.
**Hygiene:** The room's cleanliness was generally acceptable, but I found a long hair stuck to a tile in the bathroom. It felt like the cleaning wasn't thorough, which was a bit off-putting. Also, there was a small tear on the bed linen. I'm not sure if it was an oversight, but ideally, it should have been replaced.
**Service:** The hotel's front desk manager took my feedback very seriously. Afterwards, they even proactively called us to inform us that the issues had been rectified. This was truly excellent."

Breakfast is a collaboration with the shop next door, only available from 8 AM, which is different from the information provided here.
The room's screen mirroring works fine, but there are constant ads… The room doesn't have a key; it has a combination lock, so you don't have to worry about only having one card for two people. The front desk provides many free small items that you can use.
The downsides are that if you stay on the first floor, you'll hear noise from outside, and if no one is at the front desk during check-in, you'll have to wait."

"Overall, my stay was fantastic! The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spotless with no odd smells, and the bedding was very comfortable. Every detail was meticulously taken care of. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk and staff were friendly and responsive to all requests, which made me feel very well looked after. The breakfast had a great variety of both Western and Chinese options, all fresh and delicious—I was very satisfied. The parking lot was spacious and convenient, so there was no worry about parking for those driving. The location is also excellent, making travel easy with plenty of amenities nearby. It offers great value for money. I highly recommend this place and will definitely choose it again next time!"

"It's not far from places like Fuxi Temple, Yuquan Temple, and the ancient city. Taxi fares are reasonable, so if you want to take a walk to see the night view, you can walk back. The service was excellent. The front desk manager was very welcoming and greeted everyone entering and leaving. The front desk was also very good. They upgraded my room and even sent me water in the evening, which was very prompt and friendly. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. While the facilities aren't the newest, the service is much better than many new hotels in Tianshui. The parking lot isn't large, but the security guards were very responsible and went above and beyond. I highly recommend staying here."

"This hotel was a lifesaver after a long day exploring Tianshui! The environment is fantastic. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were not only beautiful but also incredibly kind and provided excellent service. This hotel truly added so much joy to my trip to Tianshui. The security guard was also wonderful, very welcoming and helpful; he even fixed our TV and gave us recommendations on where to go. It's also not far from the high-speed rail station. The two front desk ladies were exceptionally nice; they even boiled hot purified water for me when I asked. Absolutely great!"

"The lady at the front desk of the hotel was warm and thoughtful, and even helped me unpack my suitcase. The hotel is simple yet stylish, and the details highlight quality. The decoration style and various facilities are quite beautiful, the location is excellent, there are various restaurants downstairs, and the transportation is convenient. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.
Overall, the experience is very good and the comfort level is high. At the same time, it is also worth recommending to stay in a hotel in Tianshui City. The cost-effectiveness is as expected😊"

SShuijierdongThis guesthouse is run by a really nice couple. When we arrived at the scenic area entrance, the owner's wife drove out to guide us in. The guesthouse is about a kilometer from the Maijishan Grottoes entrance, and from there you have to walk. We originally booked a family room on the second floor, but after hearing us mention that my dad wasn't going to the grottoes because of his bad leg, and that we had our dog with us, the owner's wife gave us a private room on the first floor. It was very spacious. The whole family is so nice! We ordered dinner and they told us to go back to our room to rest, then called us when it was ready and brought it to the dining area. I genuinely recommend staying here if you're visiting Maijishan. We went in the morning when it wasn't crowded, and by the time we came out, it was barely 10 AM and they were already starting to control the flow of people at the ticket gate. The grotto steps are high and narrow, so you can only go one by one. Those who go in later will probably have a very long wait.

Environment: Located in the city center, making transportation very convenient. You can walk to the Mala Tang street, Yusheng Alley, and the old town.
Service: There's a dedicated underground parking lot, and parking is free during your stay. The security guard was very kind and helped with parking. The front desk staff were all great; they upgraded our room and gave us a welcome gift.
This will be my first choice hotel when I visit Tianshui again.

KKANAKOI booked to go to the Maijishan Grottoes. The location is the best.
The room was nice and clean and relaxing.
I like tea, so I was grateful that I could boil a lot of hot water freely.
You can choose from the menu if you want to eat.
Amenities include hot water, cups, tissues and slippers, but I recommend taking them with you because there are no towels.
I would like to stay again if I visit again.

Transportation: It’s very convenient. It’s right inside the scenic spot. The boss will pick you up and drop you off when you go up and down.
Facilities: The room is large, there are many wireless stations, and the signal is good
Environment: Clean and tidy, not too noisy, just right
Scenery: It is very beautiful in the morning and evening, and there is a creek behind it
Service: The boss is very accommodating, the lady boss is very kind, and the fried dishes are delicious.
Breakfast is 10 yuan per person and can fill you up. Overall, it is a good experience. I will stay here again next time I come.

CChezzaThis new hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The new facilities were clean and tidy. The bedroom was temperature controlled, which was great in the cold winter. I especially liked the little table area to relax next to the bed. In the lobby, there were also free password locked luggage storage units that are convenient if you need somewhere to store your luggage for a few hours after check out. As well as that, I was surprised to find the washing machine and dryer in the lobby were also free for use. I communicated with staff in Chinese (I didn't even try to use English) and they were always happy to help. I think I would have, however, appreciated a little more information on check in as I only realized as I was leaving that I hadn't taken advantage of the free breakfast...and didn't know how to access it.

PPeterThis is a REALLY nice hotel. Unfortunately, although it is practically right next to one of the city's two train stations, the location is far from ideal. Yes, there are many restaurants close by. But Tianshui is an oddly laid out city. Look on a map and you will see two distinct parts to the city. This hotel, along with the two train stations and the airport are in the eastern city. But all the most interesting city attractions are within the west part. And the two parts are very far from each other.
Again, this is a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. And I often try to stay at hotels near transportation centers such as train stations. The view from my room was fabulous- mountains and a train station.
But for anyone visiting Tianshui, I'd suggest you look closely at a map and take a close look at the sites within the city you are likely to visit! (To add to within-town transportation challenges, not even a single time was I able to get a ride using the normally useful ”Didi” application. This meant that it was a constant ”old school” process of trying to flag down available taxis.
Anyway, again I will emphasize, the hotel is great. It is the layout of the city itself that presents challenges that make this location difficult.

GGuest UserMy boyfriend took me to Tianshui this time, and we chose this hotel, which is located in the old city. The hotel is decorated in a new Chinese style, the environment and hygiene are excellent, and the service is very enthusiastic. The beautiful ladies in the front hall will upgrade the room type. The whole house is smart, the bedding is comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for sleeping. I recommend it to my friends. I booked a breakfast without breakfast, and bought one separately. It was not expensive, and it was clean. The rice noodles were very good. I will choose to stay here next time! ! ! The main parking is free and convenient, not far from the Fuxi Temple and the scenic spots in Tianshui City!

AAnonymous UserRead lots of reviews about this hotel before booking it for a night. I'll still give it a 5-star review because it is so convenient for independent travellers like us. The railway station as well as the local public buses station/stops are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bathroom shower has strong flow of water. It's near to the famous Malatang eateries, too, just less than 5 minutes walk away.
The rooms are not sound proof and we can hear the next door guests talking. Since it was already 12.30 midnight, we couldn't get to sleep due to the non-stop talking in the next room, we decided to seek help from the counter staff to give us a quiet room. She was so kind and moved us to another room on the same floor in the middle of the night. Kudos to this kind lady.

GGuest UserLinglan is actually an excellent location despite the obvious. It's half way between Fuxi temple and Mt. maiji. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel & 5 yuan takes U to Fuxi temple & old town. (Beware last bus is around 730pm, taxi back from Fuxi temple was around 40rmb)
For its price point, it's a wonderful, newly renovated g well appointed. Despite management's best effort to be a none-smoking establishment, hotel guests tend to ignore this policy. However, with communication, hotel kindly moved me to a far end on the top floor. They also offered pick up/drop off from train station. The restaurant provided simple yet tasty staples. All in all it was a wonderful stay
