Outstanding
GGuest UserAlthough it’s a bit far to the Kyoto train station, if you know how to take the bus, there are 3 bus stops + 1 Shijouoomiya train station which are really closed to this hotel (only 6 to 10 mins walk), which can lead you to anywhere of the tourist spots !! 👍🏻 hotel located in a quiet street which gives you a well sleep at night. 😴The hostel of this hotel are helpful, they helped us to return our kimono via the local post since we are rush in time to travel around. 📤 They replied the email daily and fast, at the first day we couldn’t find their reception to check in (Just found out it’s a self check system that they had already sent you a password to your email earlier). 📧 They helped us to take care of our luggage after we check out our room, as we were going to nearby spots after the living. All the facilities and equipment are clean, you can tell they had mopped the floor, clean anywhere of the kitchen, restroom and sleeping room all the way around and leaving with no dust. 🪣👍🏻 my conclusion is, I will definitely come back to book their hotels, their signature brand “Risshisha”, next time when I come back to travel again. Once again, thank you for your 5 stars services !! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Amazing
MMumutu0417My Kyoto trip was particularly satisfying with this Kyoto townhouse. It had a garden, a private hot spring bath, and was brimming with Japanese charm. The breakfasts were especially delightful, with a wide variety and different dishes each day. After breakfast, there was also a traditional Kyoto matcha and carefully selected sweets; the owner even patiently explained the proper way to drink the matcha.
It's a bit far from the subway, but there are several bus stops nearby, making it quite convenient. Strolling along Kyoto's charming streets and discovering hidden gems of little shops was also a delightful experience.

Great
AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in Arashiyama already for 1 day at another nearby hotel, I hadn’t anticipated liking the area so much. I located Mulan Hotel and stayed in the dorm bed for 2 nights. Being the only guest there, the beds and common areas (such as bathrooms, kitchen etc) were clean. They had access to a washing machine and dryer which was appreciated after 2 weeks of travel.
Presented with a discount coupon for the neighbourhood onsen, 2 minutes walk from the hotel is a must! They also have bikes for hire, which made exploring the local area and neighbourhood really enjoyable.
Price is great for those on a budget. The bus stop to return to Kyoto Station is 80m from the front entrance. Be mindful its 15-20 minute walk to the major sites and main restaurants.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and I look forward to my visit there again soon!

Sadly, I only stay 1 night but will definitely come back on my next trip to Kyoto, Thanks…
GGuest UserKyoto was the main stop on this trip, so I had high expectations for this hotel in Omiya. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto's most prosperous Shijo shopping street, which isn't too close, but still very convenient. There are bus stops and subway stations nearby, so getting around is still very convenient. However, if you want to avoid walking, it's best to book a room in Shijo. There's free housekeeping once every three nights, but we didn't tell the front desk before 8 p.m. one night in advance, so we didn't use it. The toothbrush was very difficult to use, much worse than the hotel in Nagoya.

Very Good
VVeldaThis time I chose an apartment-style hotel, which is about a 1-minute walk from Exit 3 of Marutamachi Station on the Karasuma Line and a 2-3-minute walk from the Kinkakuji/Kiyomizu-dera bus stop. It is very convenient to reach various attractions. There are FamilyMart, 7-11, McDonald's, and supermarkets nearby. The room is spacious 👍, with kitchen utensils, oven, microwave, washer and dryer, electronic scale...all available. There is a large table in the room, which is a place where our family of five can go home every day to have late night snacks without being crowded. The teenagers enjoyed their stay very much and will choose this place again next time they visit Kyoto👍.
GGuest UserVery comfortable, spacious room, a sofa, a large clothes, washing machine, shampoo, clothes towels, clothes, hair dryer, ready to go to many The day is recommended here, not far from the train station, there are many restaurants, very close to the safety of the bottom, a little narrow, a very large soup, there are many restaurants, a little narrow, the cover is a little narrow.
富富山ぶらっくDue to personal reasons, I made a last-minute booking at this guesthouse. All the front desk staff were foreigners, but their Japanese was excellent.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserLocation was good, easy to find, and quiet. Receptionist during check-in did her best to answer all our questions and checked us in smoothly. They were pretty strict about quiet time and kept reminding us it’s from 10:00pm until the morning. But I think that only applies to foreign tourist? The room next to us was occupied by a local couple and they woke us up around 3am until 4 because they were being LOUD. The only time they stopped was when my friend banged on the shared wall between our room and theirs. For sure they woke up the whole house. We complained in the morning and they responded saying the people next to us is checking out and they are sorry. What can they do, really? Also, after checking out, I went to the reception to ask for help and a phone because I had a problem with an ATM but they told us they can’t help and to use a phone booth instead.
