"The hotel has a reception, check-in was excellent and fast, the hotel provides free razors, toothbrush and other amenities. The room is clean with large beds, the shower has everything you need. Also on the first floor there is a washing machine for an additional fee, which was convenient for us. The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the center of Kyoto or you can go by bus faster, we liked to walk, the area is quiet, near the river."

"Great location! There's a bus stop right downstairs that goes to many attractions, and Nijo Castle and the subway station are just 300 meters north. The hotel lobby is simple and stylish. The room layout is well-designed, clean, and just the right size for a solo traveler. On the first floor, there's a common area with a coffee machine, various tea bags, and a microwave for heating food. The rooftop has a small observation deck with street views. The lobby staff were very welcoming and polite."

"## Amenities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a bathtub, and two washing machines and two dryers downstairs (I recommend doing laundry during off-peak hours for a better experience). Free drinking water is available, and there's even a fast ice machine! Overall, the amenities offered a great and convenient experience. ## Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean, but there was an old stain on the vanity that I tried to wipe off but couldn't remove. Other than that, everything was satisfactory. The hotel cleans every three days, starting from the day after check-in, which was fine for me. If you prefer daily cleaning, you'll need to inform the front desk. ## Environment: The overall environment is good, with typical Japanese hotel room sizes. My 26-inch suitcase could only be opened in a corner, which is probably my only regret; it felt a bit cramped even for one person. However, it was very quiet. Perhaps the guests were very considerate, as I mostly only heard conversations and doors opening in the hallway. I had a very peaceful sleep at night. ## Service: The front desk staff were all very friendly. They greeted me when I left in the morning and returned in the evening, which made me feel very much at home. ## Transportation: The location is excellent. The Shijo Takakura bus stop right outside the hotel can take you to most city attractions. The Karasuma Line and Hankyu Line stations are also very close. There's a convenience store right outside. Shijo Kawaramachi is also within walking distance, making everything very convenient."

"Overall experience was very good, there was a bus stop very near to the hotel, and a subway station just a bit further away. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and luggage storage services are also available after check out. There was also a Family Mart nearby where you can see it while walking from the subway station. There are also quite a few food options around the hotel too, very suitable to explore a bit. Nijo castle is also right next to the station. The room was very comfortable, where the reception will ask you if you need a toothbrush, or you may request it from them. It was a great stay!"

"The location is very convenient, with a coffee shop next door, one of Kyoto's best bakeries across the street, a 7-11 just a hundred meters away, and many unique restaurants nearby. We stayed on the first floor, but the soundproofing was excellent. The in-room facilities were superb, and the bed and bedding were impeccable; our family had a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff was also very warm and attentive, even helping us call a taxi on our last day and giving instructions to the driver. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the front desk could have coins available for the coin-operated laundry and dryer. On the day we needed it, they didn't have any for exchange (we were very tired when we got back and had to go to 7-11 to get change). Also, there was a minor issue with the bathroom."

"The room's cleanliness was, as always, excellent, and it was quite spacious. We booked a twin room, and the beds could be pushed together. However, the bathroom was exceptionally small, making it difficult to place toiletries, including cups and razors, freely. There's a self-service laundry room and an ice machine. The room only provides two bottles of water, and there's no water purifier. Although the bathroom sign indicates the water is drinkable, it actually has a strong chlorine smell, which persists even after boiling. This isn't very practical for those accustomed to bottled mineral water or water purifiers in their home country. All toiletries were provided, but I have two main complaints: the toothpaste came in a tiny 2x1 cm paper sachet, which was incredibly inconvenient – small, hard to tear open, and difficult to squeeze out. It was quite an experience! Secondly, unlike the first hotel we stayed at, there were no bath salts provided. Transportation is extremely convenient, with Kyoto Station directly across the street. Check-in was also easy, and our luggage was automatically stored by the front desk upon arrival."
