MMindelaiThe hotel is a very beautiful and charming place.
I booked this room mainly because can see the stunning Golden Mountain view directly at dawn.
It gets quite cold at night, and the mornings are pleasantly cool.
The restaurant food is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The only downsides are that there are a few insects at the mountaintop, which is understandable, and the soundproofing of the room isn’t great—after 10 p.m., noise from people outside can still be heard clearly.

TTimberCallingThe location of this facility offers superb view of the Mount Kinabalu, unhindered of other buildings. If you are here for the view, you are at the correct location. It also has bbq facilities and self-cooking equipments with tables and chairs. Of course comfort can be compromised for the view it can offer. It also close to various local attractions. Just make sure your vehicle is up for steep hiking from the Kundasang town to here.
