Everything was good overall. The view was beautiful and the surroundings were peaceful. The iron and hair dryer were provided and worked well. However, some maintenance is needed for leaks in the bedroom and bathroom. It would also be better if the entrance and exit could be widened for easier car access.

The hosts are wonderful, friendly people who made our stay comfortable. Our room was a small room with a bed, a table, air conditioning and a combined bathroom. The room is clean. You can order food delivery and it will be delivered fairly quickly, the food is delicious. You can buy coffee, tea, and drinks on site. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the entrance to Hot Poring Springs, but they can give you a ride for free. There is a transfer to Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan. More expensive than Grab, but you can't call a Grab from there. Grab cost us 200 ringgit from Kota Kinabalu, the transfer back cost 300. Don't expect luxury from this place (or from others nearby). It's like visiting your grandmother in the village). Very soulful.

The service provided by the staff was excellent. They were polite, friendly, and hardworking throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with the fried mee hoon being a highlight. The room was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. Above all, the stunning breakfast view of Mount Kinabalu truly made the experience unforgettable.

The location is good, just by the main road side. Car park is available. Cleanliness acceptable. If you want to stay take room by the side of the road, because the sound of the vehicle passing by may disturb your sleep.

1km to Kota Kinabalu Park. Just basic overnight stay. With attached toilet

Room floor is dirty (has hair and some still water near the sliding door, had to request for mop to wipe dry), understandable the room will be quite mouldy as the environment is very humid, no slippers provided in room (floor is super cold when stepped on bare foot), the floor mat outside the toilet is quite “wet” and very uncomfortable to step on to dry off feet after shower, water heater is unstable. Spacious parking, less than 5 minutes drive to Sabah National Park HQ. If you’re only in Kundasang for a hike in Mount KK, recommend to stay for a night if you’re not too
