JJC_HVB_SunnyLocation is great in the heart of Sunnybank district and best price you can get in the area.
Check-in took a bit longer than expected, but not a big deal
We have stayed here before and we know the accommodation units are a bit aged, so didn't want to be too picky about it as we liked the convenience of it.
However, this time we have to speak out...
First thing after entering the room was a Big Welcome from a few big cockroaches!!! Then when we inspected the shower there also had some little ones hanging around!!!
I had to physically demolish them all before we can put ourselves to bed. But my wife got put off quite a bit, didn't want to use the shower as it was contaminated by bugs, also felt uneased after getting on to bed, took a while to put her to sleep.
So in conclusion, even though the price was cheap, but the quality of the accommodation is not quite acceptable. Don't think we'll return to this place again in the future!
GGuest UserGreat find, we asked for a quiet room and had a great nights sleep. Is close to food, airport and was wonderfully clean. We will stay again.

GGuest UserDue to slow drainage in the bathroom that wasn't fixed, the hotel moved us to an upstairs room. It was a huge improvement from the previous one; the room and bathroom were spacious and clean, both with large windows that opened, offering a great view.
GGuest UserAlthough I received my booking confirmation from a third party, somehow I missed important check-in information from the hotel which is keyless and has no onsite reception. Through the kindness of strangers, we were able to get into the foyer where there was a number to contact. It’s advertised as a 24hr reception but it’s important guests know it’s a remote reception. Once I got onto the receptionist, he was able to send me the important message with the check-in information. As we were heading out for dinner we were able to assist another couple who were experiencing the same problem.
Overall, it was a good stopover. We had a good night’s rest in a comfy bed, however, there were no bedside lamps for reading and the one wall lamp near the bed didn’t work. The shower was hot and the location is excellent for access to a variety of great restaurants.

PPluto98Self service was a bit strange but if you call them 24hrs in advance, like suggested, it would be a smooth transaction. Room was neat & tidy & quite spacious! Lots of power points, lighting & secure window. Nice having a topped up Kitchenette, tv, aircon & remotes… with batteries! Decent bathroom for the unit size just grossed out by the shower curtain. Security guy was very helpful AND free onsite parking was a bonus!

GGuest UserRoom was very large and beds were comfortable. It was cold when we arrived and the air con had been put on so it was marvellous walking into a warm room. Very happy overall.
KKate HenleyWe booked a king room which said king size bed, and I requested 2 extra pillows. We never received a reply from the hotel about our request. We arrived at 8pm, were met by a foreign backpacker who gave us our key and we got a tiny queen size bed room, which was relatively clean but the room had cockroaches running around everywhere. We were not happy to book a room and pay for the bigger bed and get the wrong one. The only good thing about that hotel is it is quite close to the international airport.

AAnonymous UserIt’s a minimalistic hotel, but in saying that it is what you pay for. It is great location very close to the city Valley and WooloonGabba. Very affordable discreet and very flexible with checking times. Front desk is not always manned but upon a phone call they are there in a jiffy. My first day wasn’t the greatest but I’ve had much better days since then and it depends on the rooms that you get but most of them are very very cozy. They have air-conditioning a bathroom and an ample space for two or a family of three with small child . also has a fridge and hot water. there’s a front and a back entrance and ample street parking as well as small amount of parking at the back you can come and go as you please without being harassed by front desk staff. It is ideal if you’re a night owl . on average I would give them 3 1/2 out of five stars however my most recent chips are probably 4 out of 5.
