Spa hotels in Brisbane

The rooms and breakfast were both good. However, I booked two rooms and paid deposits for both, but for some reason, only one deposit was refunded upon check-out today, even though I didn't incur any additional charges. The other deposit still hasn't been returned.

The hotel is relatively close to Brisbane Airport, with a good location. Downstairs is a restaurant and shopping center, which is very convenient. The parking fee is 35 Australian dollars. It is an apartment-style hotel, which is very convenient for family travel. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and complete kitchen facilities. There is also a balcony with leisure tables and chairs. If you have enough time, you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The room is also very clean. It is the first choice hotel for large groups of people.

Let's start with the pros: The location is fantastic, right above the central station once you take the elevator up. It's very close to the QVB and the shopping district, making getting around extremely convenient. The price I booked was around just over 1,000 RMB per night, which I'd say is fair value for money. When I arrived on the first day around 11:00 AM local time, they checked me into my room early. They charged a 100 AUD pre-authorization, which hasn't been refunded yet. Now for the cons: The facilities are extremely, extremely old. There's limescale all over the coffee machine, the bathroom sink is cracked, and the glass top on the tea station is also damaged. Also, I have no idea where all the dust came from—the glass surfaces had a thick layer of dust. I wiped it down myself, but it was back the next day. It feels like aged, accumulated dust in the room. Both my daughter and I have allergic rhinitis, and to put it nicely, we had a runny nose for all three days of our stay. It's a nightmare for allergy sufferers. The bathroom is like something out of a very, very old Japanese hotel, with a fixed showerhead that you can't take off. I've attached photos for reference. Bottom line: If the price is low and you value convenience, you can consider staying here. But if you suffer from rhinitis, think twice!

The location is convenient, close to the South Bank Park. Fully equipped, it can be fully equipped for washing and drying. Wifi is very good, unlimited use. The shortcoming is that the apartment is located at the intersection, the glass is a single floor, noisy

The room was great, clean, service excellent, they let is check in early (2 hours) and check out late (1 hour) at no extra cost. Love the layout of the room, very well thought out and balcony view was amazing.

The service here is a 0.5 out of 10! The reception is only open from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, so if you have a problem outside those hours, you're stuck. The air conditioning isn't individually adjustable; you have to ask reception to change the temperature. My daughter and I arrived on a Sunday to an apartment that was 19 degrees, which was very cold, and we had to wait until the next morning to report it. The next morning, I went grocery shopping to cook in the apartment. To my great surprise, that evening, when I went to cook, there was no gas for the stove, and the induction hob wasn't working either. Once again, I had to wait until the next morning to report the problem and get it resolved. We were leaving that morning, and I told the receptionist we'd be back by 11 AM so I could cook for my daughter. She told me she would take care of it. We returned at 11:30 AM, so I asked reception if my kitchen problem was resolved, and she said no, to wait, and someone would come. In four hours, they couldn't manage to send anyone. They made me wait another 30 minutes, so I went back down to reception to put some pressure on them, explaining that I hadn't been able to cook since last night, that I reported the problem at 7:30 AM, and it was supposed to be fixed by 11 AM. In the end, they fixed my problem at 1 PM. In the meantime, I had to order Uber Eats because my daughter was tired and very hungry. I also wasted half the groceries I bought because we were leaving the next day. The intercom wasn't working either; I had to go down from the 5th floor every time to report or ask for something. The service is truly terrible. Aside from that, the hotel is very well located, and the apartment is spacious. However, the dishes were not clean at all. The bubble pool was lukewarm, so my daughter could swim, but unfortunately, the sauna was under renovation.

The evolution apartments are located close to the city and have modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. The bedrooms have floor to ceiling windows and apartments have a balcony. There is a pool on site at a gym and on-site parking for $40 rm 152

The lobby smelt clean however our room and floor level smelt terribly of garbage. These are self serviced apartments so don’t expect to have your room cleaned daily! Or new clean towels or your bed made. A very aged hotel and the room had little natural light. For the price they really should be able to get a steam cleaner out and replace some things. Pile of dust & mould in the bedroom, fry pan unusable, bin was not empty on arrival, very old wool blankets on the bed which included a cigarette burn hole! The rooms are mostly clean however the carpet was grotty with several large stains. One-bedroom apartment with an extra small room is definitely useless. Car park fee $35 per night is costly.

No breakfast, no extra bed, 1.3 km from the city center, about 20 minutes walk, a few minutes by car, a bit noisy on weekend nights. There is a newly opened restaurant based on Chinese and Japanese food, and the taste is OK. There is a washing machine and dryer in the hotel room, which can be used for cooking. It is very convenient.

Romantic weekend spoiled by the toilet broken, called for help 8pm Friday night,  to be told we had to wait till the next day to be fixed. I said this was not good enough, no offer of changing rooms. The system would not fill up and were told to lift a section in the back every time we needed to flush.  Checked in at reception to what time the plumber would be here, to be told they don’t come out on weekends! They would send a staff member up to have a look in 10 mins. Waited 30min and called reception again. We needed to use the bathroom! Staff came for all of 4 min and left saying all fixed. When we went to flush and check,  it was still broken, no refill, called them back, 2 min fix this time, told it takes time to fill, and it only fill 1/2 way. Gave up, we needed to go out. We had plans! we put up with a broken toilet that when used,  had to take the lid off, lift something that allowed water in to flush. Number 2’s you had to do it twice. . Not good enough for the price
