"I had the best experience, the reception was soo kind and great, the guy at the front desk, gave me his power bank to charge my phone, kept my luggage, gave directions and called immediately my room was ready… the room was clean,no smell, had a small calendar, and it was close to a lot of tourist sites… I recommend over and over.."

Amazing
GGreat AThis is a crown jewel in UK! Boutique hotel with fantastic service and hospitality. So friendly and world top notch professional service that only another 5-star hotel in Kensington London can compared to (in other words, other 5-star hotels can’t even reach such high standard). I got butler service. Front desk Hannah is very friendly and helpful with sweet smiles. Greeted by GM and was guided to see some suites. Breakfast is gorgeous. Suite is clean with top brand kitchen facility. You can’t find a better 5-star hotel at this room rate. I’ll definitely come to stay here again and again.
Thanks so much for your great service!
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a central location, and the rooms are quite spacious with a generous breakfast spread. The only downside was the cleanliness of the room; I found two spiderwebs on lamps, both at low positions, and they weren't cleaned during my two-day stay. Also, the toilet wasn't thoroughly cleaned upon check-in. I wasn't fond of being assigned a room at the end of the hallway either. Aside from these points, the hotel is decent. Check-out is at 11 AM.
GGuest UserWe stayed here to go to a Katy Perry concert in SSE arena. We stayed in a room with 2 x Queen begs for 4 girls. It was fab! The room was spotless, the beds were so comfortable, and staff were very nice and helpful. We had just eat deliveries for food and drink before the concert and got up to a gorgeous breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as I believe it caters for all. I am returning in January 2026 and cannot wait already.
GGuest UserAbsolutely amazing, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the swimming area, the room, everything was 100% 10/10. The staff were also very kind and welcoming with good communication, to anyone who is thinking about staying, go for it!
GGuest UserWe were welcomed at reception by one of the friendliest receptionist we have ever met, Aimee or Emma was her name. Nothing was too much trouble for her from checking in to where to go for good food and entertainment, and inquired the next morning on how things went. The hotel is in a great location, comfortable and spacious rooms , have booked to return in April. The only thing we would say was missing was a sign on the footpath pointing out the hotel. Top marks all round .
GGuest UserWe arrived hours earlier than check-in time and were allowed to park our car in the underground garage. This allowed us to take a bus or walk the 30 mins into the city centre,
When we did check-in we were made up with the size and space available to us, 2 bedrooms, large dining table and good size kitchen area, it was also great to see lovely body wash and shampoo to use in the bathroom, everywhere was clean, we stayed 4 nts and the cleaner came in a tidied and change towels for us.
The tesco shoo was handy for picking up some pizzas and wine, saving us some money when on a tight budget, we would definitely stay again,
GGuest UserGreat hotel, lovely looking and welcoming foyer. Hotel staff were excellent, well mannered, attentive and friendly. Rooms were nice and clean with a modern TV. A bit pricey for food and drinks. My shower was pretty cold at 5am in the winter unfortunately and a staff member did try to help to no avail. Would stay again but it's unlikely that this is the first time that hot water has been a problem, you would imagine there would be checks and/or protocols for handling this situation, especially in winter.
GGuest UserThe location is super. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of choices and hot food. Cleanliness needs to be improved as we found an insect (a silverfish) in the bathroom. No toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. (Be prepared!) It was hard to pump the shampoo, shower gel out. Family room is spacious. Can get hot in the summer (bring your own electric fan! No fans or air conditioners in the rooms.)
Mmarycon buagayanThis is my second stay at the Clayton Hotel, and overall, the experience was pleasant and the accommodations were comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hotel offers good value for an overnight stay.
However, I observed that the reception staff could benefit from being more attentive and proactive in assisting guests. On several occasions, it seemed that guests were not immediately acknowledged, which can leave an impression of inattentiveness — particularly for international visitors.
My previous stay was three years ago, and I was hoping to see some improvement in this area. Consistent professionalism and warm hospitality at the front desk would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. I look forward to seeing positive changes on my next visit.
DDejan SkaljacThe location right in the heart of South Belfast and near Ulster Museum leaves nothing to be desired. The service in this establishment does not either. Our room had plenty of light as it was on the 2nd floor and featured one of those 3 Victorian bay windows. The only tiny little fly in the ointment was the fact our bathroom sink did not seem to have warm water - but the shower made up for that. This mini hotel is great value for money and the cleanliness is beyond reproach.
