Amazing
WW_LIt's located in a lovely village outside Interlaken. The staff are lovely and friendly and their restaurant serves lovely food. We would have really enjoyed the experience but the sound proof was very poor. The walls are too thin, so every time when the room next door tried to use their sink or plug chargers into the sockets, the noise was so loud that it woke us up. The beds are too short in length and you have to be shorter than 6 feet to sleep in them (I wish they have told us these in their room specifications on the website). Overall I wouldn't recommend...
GGuest UserSouth-facing double room with an amazing balcony! Absolutely worth the price. You get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains and slopes, and sitting on the balcony in the evening feels fantastic. Slippers are provided. It's the first building next to the train station, so the location is superb and surprisingly quiet. The soundproofing is also good; the only noise was a creaking sound when the next-door neighbors opened and closed their balcony door. The stay was quite comfortable. The breakfast wasn't great; there wasn't much to eat, just two slices of toast, some eggs, and a drink. The restaurant food was also just okay, I still couldn't get used to it.
CCissy.wwsA great choice for travelers on the move! The location is hard to beat, with both the train and bus stations just a short walk away. Air conditioning is a definite plus during the warmer spring and summer months, keeping the rooms cool and comfortable. Breakfast is satisfying enough to start the day, but could have more variety. Overall, a solid and convenient stay.

Great
11346633****The hotel is located high up on a hill, offering great views on a clear day. It's also very close to Grindelwald station. Before check-in, the owner emailed me to fill out my personal information in advance, but it was a bit tricky to do, so I figured it would be easier to just fill it out at the front desk when I arrived. However, when I got there, the lady at the front desk was quite displeased and deliberately made me wait for a long time, claiming that if I had completed the online form beforehand, I wouldn't have caused such a delay. All in all, despite that, it's a charming local chalet with beautiful weather and scenery, making for a great experience.
SSandy PoohThe hotel location couldn’t have been better. Just a short stroll from Grindelwald train station, the hotel sits right in the heart of the village, with shops and a supermarket practically at the doorstep. It made exploring the Jungfrau region effortless — whether hopping on a train to the mountain passes or simply wandering through the charming streets.
What really stood out was how well the hotel is equipped. The amenities went beyond what I expected, even compared to my previous stay at an upscale property in Lucerne.
Breakfast was sumptuous . Each morning, we enjoyed a generous spread in a bright breakfast room with lovely views of the surrounding peaks.
Overall, Hotel Central Wolter offers good value for money. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of charm.
MMINT TITANThe family room is quite a good size for 2 adults and 2 teens. It is very cozy and clean. Our room is facing the front and temporary reception area and we can see the Alps clearly. There is a big pigeon hole style cabinet which we can use to place our stuff. The room is organised and not cramped due to this. Breakfast is good enough for us. There is a microwave oven in the Breakfast lounge where you can heat up food and a kettle (no kettle in the room). The only thing we don't like is the lack of door to the entrance of the shower area. Anyone entering the front door of the room, can see someone showering inside the shower area (if any). We had to remind each other to stay out of that area when we shower..
GGuest UserThe Chalet Jungfrau in Grindelwald has an amazing location; you can see the 'dreamy hillside' right outside, with expansive views and absolutely stunning scenery. It's a shame the main building's view is slightly less spectacular than the annex. Overall, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, leaving you fully satisfied and starting the day on a high note. The only minor downside is that the facilities are a bit old and dimly lit. Overall, it offers good value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the 'dreamy hillside' and is looking for good value!
GGuest UserJungfrau Hotel Annex Alpine-Inn has a great location to admire Jungfrau right at your hotel room balcony. In the week of many rainy days, I was lucky to be able to see Jungfrau at my room when I checked in. Then it rained for the following 2 days. Good that hotel provides an umbrella for each room to use on rainy days. It’s a bit walking (8-10 minutes, all flat) to the train station but I enjoyed the walking under the foothill of Jungfrau. Hotel staff were nice including the staff working in the breakfast area. Breakfast room is clean and foods are decent. Wilderswill is just 10-min train or bus ride from Interlaken. With a choice of train or busses, you won’t need to wait too long to get to the destination of your choice.
DDariaThe hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room.
However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking.
The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done.
The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good.
The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet.
Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)
AAnonymous UserStayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
