Fitbeard AUGreat experience as the village is quite scenic and beautiful with great views from this hotel and near by , hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options are good I must say as I like soft boil eggs and had no worries of not having to have scrambled eggs as a lot of people have complained. Parking is free . They also gave us our keys in a nice welcome box with instructions and some chocolates that was very thoughtfully prepared so full marks for that. The only concern I have is that Trip.com suggested a self catered kitchen which wasn’t there for preparing your food/dinner and also there was no microwave in the room which is extremely inconvenient. I think that’s the only negative as not everyone eats out in a restaurant and sometimes you’d get hungry at a later part of night and nothing is available. So next time I’ll definitely consider a hotel/lodge that has a at least a self catering kitchen.

Guest UserSouth-facing double room with an amazing balcony! Absolutely worth the price. You get a direct view of the snow-capped mountains and slopes, and sitting on the balcony in the evening feels fantastic. Slippers are provided. It's the first building next to the train station, so the location is superb and surprisingly quiet. The soundproofing is also good; the only noise was a creaking sound when the next-door neighbors opened and closed their balcony door. The stay was quite comfortable. The breakfast wasn't great; there wasn't much to eat, just two slices of toast, some eggs, and a drink. The restaurant food was also just okay, I still couldn't get used to it.

Cissy.wwsA great choice for travelers on the move! The location is hard to beat, with both the train and bus stations just a short walk away. Air conditioning is a definite plus during the warmer spring and summer months, keeping the rooms cool and comfortable. Breakfast is satisfying enough to start the day, but could have more variety. Overall, a solid and convenient stay.

The hotel is located high up on a hill, offering great views on a clear day. It's also very close to Grindelwald station. Before check-in, the owner emailed me to fill out my personal information in advance, but it was a bit tricky to do, so I figured it would be easier to just fill it out at the front desk when I arrived. However, when I got there, the lady at the front desk was quite displeased and deliberately made me wait for a long time, claiming that if I had completed the online form beforehand, I wouldn't have caused such a delay. All in all, despite that, it's a charming local chalet with beautiful weather and scenery, making for a great experience.

Sandy PoohThe hotel location couldn’t have been better. Just a short stroll from Grindelwald train station, the hotel sits right in the heart of the village, with shops and a supermarket practically at the doorstep. It made exploring the Jungfrau region effortless — whether hopping on a train to the mountain passes or simply wandering through the charming streets.
What really stood out was how well the hotel is equipped. The amenities went beyond what I expected, even compared to my previous stay at an upscale property in Lucerne.
Breakfast was sumptuous . Each morning, we enjoyed a generous spread in a bright breakfast room with lovely views of the surrounding peaks.
Overall, Hotel Central Wolter offers good value for money. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of charm.

The room had two single beds and a bunk bed, which was perfect for a family of four. The hotel breakfast was also great, with lovely views from the window. The hotel is super close to the Jungfrau cable car, and they offer a daily bus pass – remember to ask at the front desk! All in all, it's a good hotel.

Guest UserJungfrau Hotel Annex Alpine-Inn has a great location to admire Jungfrau right at your hotel room balcony. In the week of many rainy days, I was lucky to be able to see Jungfrau at my room when I checked in. Then it rained for the following 2 days. Good that hotel provides an umbrella for each room to use on rainy days. It’s a bit walking (8-10 minutes, all flat) to the train station but I enjoyed the walking under the foothill of Jungfrau. Hotel staff were nice including the staff working in the breakfast area. Breakfast room is clean and foods are decent. Wilderswill is just 10-min train or bus ride from Interlaken. With a choice of train or busses, you won’t need to wait too long to get to the destination of your choice.

The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room.
However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking.
The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done.
The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good.
The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet.
Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)

LLSZ3First, the hotel locations is very near to Interlaken West train station and it's walking distance to Interlaken city centre as well as Interlaken Ost. So it's great and easy access to most of the places like grindelwald, spiez, thun, and brienz.
The hotel itself it's abit old and honestly I dont really like the bathroom as it abit like run out.
The cupboard and hanger also having some dust which makes me feels uneasy.
I booked room with single bed, it has window but because now they are doing some outdoor renovation which blocked the view outside my window, that's really like a minus point to me.
Overall I think, with the price I pay, I should get a better hotels than this.

Hiyoub
We expected a bad experience when we looked at the Google review but was pleasantly surprised by the actual room presented to us.
We had a quadruple room and saw a near-new bathroom, in contrast of the photos we saw on Google review.
Apart from the bathroom, the room itself is a bit of a disappointment, the one of the bed frames were faulty and one of us had to sleep with her hips lowered to the floor.
And the other facilities were outdated, but they were at least clean.
Our overall experience was pleasant, but similar to most things in Switzerland, the price was a little steep, but probably one of the cheaper hotels in the area.
