Derby Swiss Quality Hotel ★★★
"Best hotel in Switzerland I stayed so far. It’s directly opposite of grindelwald station, just 1 minute (or less) walk away. The room is clean and comfy with mountain view no matter if you are staying at the front or back of the hotel. The staffs are really nice as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is travelling to Switzerland"
Leissigen Youth Hostel ★★
"The scenery is beautiful. The breakfast is quite plentiful. The price is very cheap for Switzerland. The downsides are that you must check in before 8 am and the bus only runs once an hour, so you need to plan ahead."
Beatenberg Resort & Spa in Beatenberg Interlaken ★★★★
"The scenery is beautiful, and it's very quiet at night, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation."
Grindelwald Youth Hostel ★★★
"Here are some useful tips about this hotel: 1. Don't trust Google Maps when leaving the station – it'll lead you up a cliff! Definitely take the bus or a longer road to get here. 2. The room amenities are a bit lacking. There are no bedside power outlets or privacy curtains. You also need to put on your own duvet cover, pillowcases, and bedsheet. 3. These are the only two downsides. For a budget hostel in Switzerland, the breakfast is quite good. The common kitchen has a hot water kettle, fridge, and microwave, so coupled with Coop nearby, you won't have any issues with meals."
Hotel Metropole Interlaken ★★★★
"Check-in was smooth, and the room was well-lit, clean, and odor-free. The amenities were complete, and the service was friendly. It's perfect for a short stay. Highly recommended!"
Hotel Bernerhof ★★★
"All hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony"
Hotel Weisses Kreuz ★★★
"The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the bus station, which provides easy access to everywhere. It also provides breakfast with great variety of choices. The hotel receptionists were helpful and assisted me in getting back the 10% discount when dining at its collaborated restaurant. Bear in mind that no air conditioning services in the room and it might get abit warmer during summer, but fans were provided."
Interlaken Youth Hostel ★★
"We booked a room with shared toilet but paid more to changed to a room with private toilet. The room is excellent because we got the view of the mountains everyday. Was contemplating to stay between Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West, but i was travelling with an elderly so this is the best option. Interlaken OST station is a v good transport base for most places in Switzerland. Interlaken West is convenient too but u'd need to take a short bus ride down to the main station. There's alot of buses that are relatively frequent. However as my mother cant walk far, this is the best coz it is very walkable to the train station. There is a lift to all the floors and luggage storage is available. Our included Breakfast is good (meat, cheese, bread, eggs, yoghurt, conflakes, tea, coffee, etc). There's a dinner set menu (need to pay of course) tt changes every night. The food is food and is relatively cheaper if u have the set meal of the day. Would stay here again. There's a big Coop opposite also. However if u'd like more shopping... Interlaken West has more shops but they usually close abt 7pm. There's dinner places there that closes abt 11pm. If you're thinking if where to stay, i think if u have an elderly that cant walk much, Interlaken Ost."
Hotel Spinne Grindelwald ★★★★
"Suitable for family trips, the view from the room is beautiful."

Brienz Youth Hostel
"Right by the lake, you can see the lake and mountains when you go out in the morning. It's a very happy experience. Every morning, you feel close to nature. Although it is a youth hostel, it is very clean and the breakfast is also very good."
Seiler au Lac
"As others have noted, what a view! The hotel is situated perfectly if you want to be close enough to all the action of the area, but also far enough to be in a peaceful setting. Interlacken OST was only a 10 minute bus ride from right in front of the hotel for trains anywhere. Lake Brienz is beautiful to take a boat ride to Brienz or Iseltwald. We found the room extremely large, a little old but a great view from our balcony. The entire staff was very welcoming and happy to help especially the young man in the breakfast room."
Lake Lodge Hostel
"Superb view. Great hospitality by the hotel staff. Highly recommend to stay. Definitely I will be back if I revisit this place❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
Hotel Seeburg - Adults Only
"The environment is great and the breakfast is delicious. Apart from the fact that the road to the station is not very luggage-friendly and the trains are less frequent, there are almost no disadvantages. (Note: the hotel does not accept children.)"
Carlton-Europe Vintage Adults Hotel
"The staff is very rude and ****** At our breakfast- the server named "Ludwig" misbehaved with us When we reported the incident to the management team (Manager Patrick)- he said he will look into it but has still not done anything. Ludwig was howling in the hotel lobby "I don't care.. I don't care..." repeatedly and in front of the management too... If you are a guest reading this- you can afford a decent hotel in this price range per night / budget- so, AVOID Carlton. If the management and the service staff misbehaves with the customers- then they are clearly not doing justice to the service industry, hospitality In this budget- you can find any other decent 4-star or even some five star properties in the same area such as Victoria, Metropole, Interlaken etc."
Dorint Blüemlisalp Beatenberg/Interlaken
"We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The spa, pool, breakfast, cleanliness, and especially the amazing view were all wonderful. The location is also very nice. Although the rooms are a little old-fashioned, the hotel is still comfortable and well maintained. One small issue was the waiting time during breakfast and dinner because the hotel was quite busy. We also had two neighboring rooms with connected balconies, and the wooden divider door between the balconies was extremely noisy when opening and closing. It would be great if the door could be oiled to reduce the noise. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The view is truly fantastic."
Hotel Berghof Amaranth
"It's a great hotel. The rooms aren't big, but they're clean and tidy. The mountain view rooms offer a great view of the three peaks of the Jungfrau."
Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel and Spa Interlaken
"This is a lovely hotel with a lot to offer. The location is truly excellent—close to public transport and within walking distance of the main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and very clean. The only area that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the quality didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. It was the one thing we were disappointed with. Despite the breakfast, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms."
Hapimag Ferienwohnungen Interlaken
"Right in the center of Interlaken, the room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Downstairs, there's a breakfast spot that also serves lunch, and I thought the food there was quite good."
Braunbär Hotel & Spa - Former Alpine Sunstar Hotel
"The Brown Bear Hotel is located not in Interlaken, but in Wengen, a charming village with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. If driving, you can only park in the parking lot below Lauterbrunnen train station. Go up to the 7th floor to buy your ticket and take the train to Wengen, which takes about 12 minutes. Trains run almost every hour and half-hour. The journey up the mountain is well worth it. The hotel is less than 200 meters from the train station, in the village's commercial center, a street lined with hotels, restaurants, and shopping. From the hotel balcony, you can overlook the Jungfraujoch, making it easy to reach the summit. From Wengen station, you can board the train at Kleighn, transfer once, and you'll be directly at the Jungfraujoch. The hotel rooms are small, but adequate. The connecting room for three people is two standard rooms with a door between them, offering two bathrooms and two balconies, perfect for a family of three or four with older children. The restaurant downstairs serves a buffet breakfast and a delicious cheese fondue dinner. To visit the Jungfraujoch, you can buy tickets on the official website and board the train directly from Wengen, skipping the trip back to Interlaken. Wengen is a must-stop on one of the routes. The cable car station is across from the hotel, and I highly recommend taking it up. You can hike up, from a 20-minute trail to a longer hike. The scenery is breathtaking. Wengen is a much better place to stay than Interlaken, and it's truly Swiss."
Hotel Edelweiss
"The room is small, but the scenery nearby is great and it's very quiet. You can see the snow-capped mountains while sleeping on the bed. It has a small balcony. The scenery in Wengen is great, but some roads have a steep slope of 60 degrees, which is not friendly for pushing suitcases."
Hotel Kreuz&Post Grindelwald
"The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel boasts an excellent location, with spacious and tidy rooms, complete facilities, comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing. The front desk service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast offers a rich and varied selection. It's great value for money and a solid choice for both business trips and leisure travel. Definitely worth a return stay."
The Guesthouse by the Hey Hotel
"Clean rooms, a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, and a great breakfast selection—everything you need for a perfect stay!"
Hotel Lötschberg
"The hotel is a bit old-fashioned. The room was okay, and the service was also acceptable. However, it felt a little overpriced for what you get."
Hotel Beausite
"The place is cosy with a nice interlaken view outside. The facility is not new but give a sense of warmth. The brekafast is good and served in a hall. The staff is helpful."
Hotel Central Wolter - Grindelwald
"The hotel location couldn’t have been better. Just a short stroll from Grindelwald train station, the hotel sits right in the heart of the village, with shops and a supermarket practically at the doorstep. It made exploring the Jungfrau region effortless — whether hopping on a train to the mountain passes or simply wandering through the charming streets. What really stood out was how well the hotel is equipped. The amenities went beyond what I expected, even compared to my previous stay at an upscale property in Lucerne. Breakfast was sumptuous . Each morning, we enjoyed a generous spread in a bright breakfast room with lovely views of the surrounding peaks. Overall, Hotel Central Wolter offers good value for money. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of charm."
