I initially chose this hotel because it's pet-friendly, and overall, I was satisfied.
Amenities: Movies, karaoke, ping pong, an infinity pool, afternoon tea, relaxation…
Service: The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They offered complimentary tea by the hearth, and the food was brought to you wherever you chose to dine. It was all home-style cooking, and you could order in advance. A portable tea set and a fruit platter (redeemable with 1 point) were provided upon check-in. A complimentary gift was given upon check-out, and they even waved goodbye as your car left.
The owner is a woman from Hunan, and I particularly admire her philosophy: none of the rooms have TVs, encouraging children to interact more, and the same goes for adults. Even strangers can have fun karaoke together.
My only suggestion is that the coffee shop could be opened. I would recommend it for a weekend getaway!

This place boasts an incredible 270-degree panoramic sea view with a huge curved balcony directly facing the ocean, complete with lounge chairs, a hanging chair, and a tea table. You can watch the sunrise over a sea of clouds in the morning and enjoy the sunset with a sea breeze in the evening. Just sitting on the balcony, sipping tea and chatting, fills you with pure bliss. The room itself is clean and tidy, with a simple yet cozy decor. Every bedroom has a sea-view window, so you can fall asleep to the sound of waves right from your bed – it's incredibly therapeutic.
The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's super convenient to buy fresh and affordable seafood at the market nearby. You can bring it back and easily prepare a delicious feast right in your room. Plus, the coastal greenway is right next door. Rent a bike and leisurely cycle along, enjoying the endless mountain and sea scenery. Biking with the sea breeze is so comfortable, you won't want to go home.
The service was incredibly thoughtful. The check-in instructions were clear, they answered all our questions, and even provided helpful recommendations for local attractions. I've definitely added this place to my 'stay again and again' list – I'll be back here next time I visit the coast!

King KCLThe room is incredibly spacious and comfortable, making for a delightful stay. We were fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade from the owner, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and tidiness of the space. It was my first experience with disposable bath and hand towels, which added an extra layer of hygiene that I truly appreciated.
The room's interior and the surrounding area are beautifully designed in a traditional Chinese style, contributing to a serene atmosphere. Additionally, there's a waterfall nearby, which serves for great photos.
When it comes to dining options, there are several restaurants within a short 5-minute walk. Alternatively, you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant located downstairs. If you're up for a little more exploration, simply take a left at the entrance and walk a bit further to discover a vibrant night market near the university. This market is filled with a variety of delicious snacks at very reasonable prices, making it a great option for a cost-effective meal.

Beautiful, quaint apartment. Fully furnished with all the basic ammenities and needs. We had a great ocean view which wasn't directly South-facing, so the sun wasn't a big problem on the balcony.
The projector had a paid VIP membership so we could watch whatever we wanted. The wifi also worked well.
The beach is just across the road and a breeze to access.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were eager to assist whenever needed.
The room is cleaned every day and they supply fresh water. Breakfast was available promptly and there was a nice variety of food at the buffet. They only have the buffet over weekends though.
They also give out free toys for kids to play on the beach with and you can collect free popcorn at night.
I would definitely recommend this place to a couple or some friends going on holiday and wanting a relaxed beach atmosphere.
There was difinitely enough space for us and our baby.

The hotel service is very considerate. The front desk guy also patiently introduced the room to me. He also specially processed a new guest VIP, free breakfast and late check-out, which is great! Tired old hotel yet still delivers the basic needs at a great price. Location is fantastic if you arrive via high-speed train as it it only 15 mins car ride from Huiyang Railway station. The hotel is clean, tidy but just old - you can imagine it being quite grand maybe in the 90s. Less stars for other parts of convenience with location as there aren’t too many eateries on the Main Street but we did find a lovely soup and dumpling shop 2 doors down that closed at midnight. The rooms are large with twin beds. Looks like it is also shares floors for a confinement centre. Breakfast is included in stay but it is a typical Chinese breakfast with DIY soup noodles, steamed Baos, and cooked rice/ veg. Toast is available but no other condiments like butter or jam are provided. Black coffee is available. There is a coffee machine on the lobby flooor that’s free to use. All in all, it was a decent stay for the price.

The entire property is styled in an Italian fashion, predominantly white. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Right downstairs, you'll find the Lover's Promenade and a long stretch of beach, making it one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset. The owner provides incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. As a special touch, they even offer a sweet dessert soup in the evening before bedtime.

We had a joyful and relaxing stay at Nankunshan Zaiyundan Wenquan Homestay the past two days. We stayed in the topmost space capsule, which was spacious and luxurious with an amazing view over the hotel and down into the mountain valleys. The hostess was kind, fun and helpful, organising day trips for us and even taking the initiative to order a super cute birthday cake for our daughter’s 13th. We loved swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and eating at the restaurant, where the lovely cook made delicious food for us morning and night. We especially recommend the fish and the eggplant and green bean stirfry. On our last day the hostess organised a driver to take us to the airport via local attractions and the amazing Zhenggou temple - a great finish to our time in China Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday!

LORENTCGood ratio you get for what you paid for. Breakfast is okay you can take it as well you can pick anything from a variety of seafood restaurants and places around.
View from the room mind boggling. Everything in the description for the hotel and the room itself is accurate so you got exactly what's written there. The location of the hotel is the prime spot. In order to get to this place you can either go by train to train station and from the train station you can take a taxi which will cost you around 50-70 RMB depending on the traffic or you can use a bus that will be a little bit longer but the price of that is going to be equal to less than 10 rmb. Going off season for a visit it feels almost like stealing the prices are absolutely affordable.
