This hotel is absolutely fantastic for families, especially if you're traveling during the off-peak season! It's perfect for a relaxing three-day, two-night trip with kids aged 2-5, allowing them to burn off energy during the day and sleep soundly at night. The hotel itself is huge, offering a variety of water activities like an infinity pool, a beach, a children's splash pool (with slides!), and hot springs. It caters to both seniors and children. There are also outdoor play facilities and a petting zoo. Since there weren't many guests, the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but all the basic types were covered, and most importantly, the food was delicious! So much so that we decided to eat all our meals at the hotel restaurant. The service was excellent – prompt and very polite. The only minor drawback is that the rooms are a bit dated, as it's an older hotel. However, they are very spacious, which is a big plus.

Thanks to the front desk, we got a free upgrade during the off-season. The room had an amazing view, basically over 270 degrees of ocean. This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The facilities include a beach, hot springs, a kids' splash area, a swimming pool, and even cliffs and rocks for scenic views – more than enough for a two-day, one-night stay. Regarding the room, everything worked perfectly. The shower pressure was excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of waves made for a great night's sleep. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. The view allowed us to see the very long coastline of Shuangyue Bay perfectly. The room also had a minibar and a small fridge. As for the service, I needed to freeze breast milk, and both the front desk and concierge responded efficiently, and the process was very smooth. Other online concierges also enthusiastically asked if I needed anything, and their responses were very prompt. The breakfast buffet caters to everyone, from seniors to children, with both Chinese and Western options. I think it's quite good for a five-star hotel breakfast. The only minor drawbacks were that the sand on the beach was a bit coarse, which could be uncomfortable when walking in the surf or playing in the sand. While the interior decor might make the hotel appear a bit dated due to the material choices, the lighting throughout the hotel is specially designed and looks beautiful at night.

We booked a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom family room. The room was very clean and all the toiletries were fully stocked, including separate bath towels for children, which were all new. Our dedicated customer service manager, Vava, kept in touch via WeChat to see if we needed anything or any help, eliminating the need to call the front desk. The service was very convenient and thoughtful. Most importantly, the kids had a blast!

2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Enviornment: This was my first time at Dusit Thani Sandalwood Hotel. I found the hotel to be in an excellent location in Shuangyue Bay, with strong Thai-style decor, giving it a very resort-like feel. Service: We were traveling with two seniors this time and arrived quite early. I was worried we'd have to wait a long time to check in, but the front desk receptionist, Xiao Rui, provided exceptional service. Not only did she proactively upgrade our room type, but she also coordinated with her colleagues to prioritize cleaning our room so we could check in early. On the second day, she also helped us request a late check-out. Her attitude was superb and definitely deserves a thumbs-up! 👍 Our stay package included buffet breakfast and dinner. The restaurant's offerings exceeded expectations; the dishes were plentiful and tasted great. The dinner featured a flash mob dance performance, and the breakfast had freshly made rice noodle rolls, both of which were very popular. Restaurant Manager Shen Xia was very responsible, actively asking guests about their dining experience, and was very warm and hospitable. Hygiene: The upgraded 27th-floor sea-view room in Tianyi Building was very satisfying. The room had all the necessary amenities, with a plentiful supply of bottled water, a thoughtfully stocked mini-fridge with drinks, and eye masks, earplugs, mosquito repellent patches, and disposable bathtub liners all readily available. Manager Cai Guie proactively inquired about our stay experience and thoughtfully prepared drinks for us to enjoy on our way home. The package included access to the water park, infinity pool, shooting, archery, gym, table tennis 🏓, billiards, cinema… You can truly spend three days and two nights here without ever leaving the hotel 🙋🏻‍♀️! I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

I have been looking for a private hot spring resort for a long time. There are also functional hot springs in the public area, close to nature. Xiaojing housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. She responds quickly when there are things to communicate, and other staff members deliver things quickly. You can also play badminton and table tennis, which is worth coming many times. The key point is that the environment is good and there are not many people!

The Taili Hotel offers a great variety of activities, including singing and dancing, and even clown performances, making for a lively evening. The 'Star' butler made check-in very quick and even provided a complimentary room upgrade to a higher floor. I was very satisfied with the attentive service throughout my stay. The free shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes, which is very convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with comfortable amenities. The beach sand was also incredibly fine and pleasant.

Excellent hotel for a family vacation!!! We absolutely love the water park and Dinosaur Park, and the food at the restaurant is delicious!!! All the staff are very attentive to you and your family, starting from the hotel reception, to escorting you to and from your room, room cleaning, and the service in the restaurant!!! For the room size and the location right by the sea, it was genuinely a great deal. You can really see the potential here – but like many other reviews mention, the property is clearly aging. Where it falls short is the service, which feels lacking. The breakfast, in particular, was expensive for what was offered, especially for foreign travellers. The selection was limited, and the only thing we truly enjoyed were the noodles. The beach itself could be beautiful, but it desperately needs cleaning. It’s also heartbreaking to see so many surrounding businesses shut down – the area felt desolate and sad. On a positive note, Lima House on the ground floor was absolutely amazing. The Chinese restaurant was delicious, and the hot springs were great. It's a good choice for a vacation. They even had fireworks every night during Chinese New Year, which was a really nice touch.
