The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including authentic Uzbek dishes as well as some less intensely local choices, which made it very enjoyable and easy to eat. The room felt clean and well-maintained overall, and the thorough cleaning made for a comfortable stay. I didn't experience any inconvenience with the facilities either. Furthermore, the front desk staff were very polite and left a great impression. Their English pronunciation was very clear and easy to understand, which made check-in and asking questions smooth and reassuring. Overall, I think this is a hotel where you can have a very comfortable stay.

Overall, I really liked the hotel. It's perfectly located on a quiet street, yet everything you need is nearby, and it's convenient and affordable to get to any part of the city. The staff at reception were all very welcoming; the lovely girl, Esoza, was particularly pleasant, and all the male staff were polite and attentive. You can approach them with any request 👍😊. The standard room is quite small, making it difficult for two people to move around freely 😁, but it has everything you need: slippers, excellent soft towels, and in the bathroom, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and a comfortable shower with good drainage (no water pooling on the floor) and multiple settings. It's convenient that there are full-length mirrors on the room door and in the bathroom. The plumbing is excellent, and the room's interior is well-chosen. The bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. A thoughtful touch is the direct phone charging capability in the outlets, no adapter needed 👍. There's also a kettle, cups, coffee, and tea. We found there weren't enough hangers for clothes – only two. But we asked reception, and they brought us two more!) Breakfasts were decent, though sometimes there was no hot food (except scrambled eggs), or no jam or yogurt, or the coffee machine wasn't working. I was surprised that during cherry and apricot season, the only fruits available at breakfast were sliced oranges, apples, and pears, which were clearly imported and quite tasteless. Nevertheless, the staff definitely try their best, and you certainly won't go hungry 😊. Kudos for having dried apricots and walnuts!👍 By the way, we read reviews about the Chinese restaurant nearby (next door). We went for dinner and really regretted it. Only one waitress understood Russian, and she recommended a dish of chopped chicken pieces – it was a total disaster, mystery chicken parts with lots of tiny bones, and incredibly spicy. For something more recognizable, we also ordered potato slices, supposedly like Korean carrots, but they turned out half-stewed, half-raw. For two dishes and green tea, only managing to eat half, we paid 400,000 Sum. We'll remember it like a nightmare 😔. Thankfully, we later found perfectly acceptable eateries 👍. Хороший отель: чисто, в номере есть туалетные принадлежности (щетка, паста, гель, шампунь), чайный набор, 2 бутылки воды, пополняемые ежедневно. Мини бар платный. Сауна платная, мы не ходили. Персонал говорит на русском, приятный в общении и готовый помочь. В ресторане под заказ готовили на завтрак каши: рисовая, манная, овсяная. Завтраки разнообразные: блины, яйца жареные, омлеты, овощи жареные, пицца, шарлотка…

The location is the best for me ( I do like this part of the city, the modern part) but the hotel itself the room is basic and you will have plenty of noise if you stay on the entrance level (despite I was on 2nd floor but any noise in the reception was coming to my room. The breakfast is fair but they're so slow to replenish and that's why I skipped having breakfast 2 out of 4 times. The most important that in the toilet they don't have (cleaning hose or tap) which you need to clean properly after toilet and that's why I will not stay there again. One more thing they have the hardest mattress i have ever had in a hotel so if you have back problems stay away

This hotel was my choice for my recent stay in Tashkent, and I found the hardware facilities and attention to detail perfectly suited for international business travelers. The rooms are equipped with quiet split air conditioners, allowing individual temperature control for each zone. Even with high outdoor temperatures, the room quickly becomes cool and comfortable. The walls feature multi-standard power outlets, so there's no need to carry a bunch of adapters – phones, laptops, and hair dryers can all be powered simultaneously. The vanity area has an anti-fog bathroom mirror, complemented by a large countertop, making it easy to neatly arrange skincare and cosmetic products. The shower provides consistent water pressure, and hot water is available around the clock without any temperature fluctuations. By the window, there's a comfortable daybed with a small side table, perfect for enjoying tea and planning your itinerary during downtime. Inside the wardrobe, there's a hanging rail and tiered shelves, convenient for storing jackets and small personal items.

Excellent value for money hotel. Convenient location not far from the airport. A huge thank you to the staff who checked us in at 6 AM so we could get a few hours of sleep during our layover. The room has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and there's air conditioning. Highly recommend!

My friends and I stayed at Orion Hotel on July 13-15, 2024. We appreciated the staff for letting my friend checked in early and left her other stuff in the hotel while we’re traveling to another cities in Uzbekistan.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay in Tashkent We stayed at this hotel from June 1 to June 4, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome through their professionalism, warmth, and excellent service. The location is one of the hotel's biggest advantages. It is very close to the airport and conveniently situated near many of Tashkent's popular tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time on transportation. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality of the staff, who were always ready to assist with a smile. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tashkent, whether for business or leisure. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Location environment: more convenient, there is a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, go out to turn a corner is the main road, it is very convenient to go to the attractions, not far from the airport. Facilities and sanitation: very Central Asian style corridor decoration and room. The bathroom was clean, but the shower could not be fixed to the shower head, and the sputum could be held in the bathtub. Disposable dental appliances are not provided. The bed was very comfortable, but the quilt had to go to the cabinet to take out the quilt and put a quilt on the bed. The breakfast was delicious, fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, cheese, coffee, and you could have dinner at 7 o'clock. Service: The front desk English is good, you can communicate, and I borrowed the conversion plug, thank you very much. But when I checked out, I asked the train station in Samarkand to point me wrong. The picture below (actually a problem with the map. Friends who go to Samarkand pay attention. If the ticket departure station is TOSHKENT JANUBIY, Figure 2, be sure to navigate to Tashkent Yuzhniy, Figure 3) below. I think the room service is very bad. The mineral water and coffee are not renewed. The shampoo and shower gel are not renewed. I have used the towel to take away and not renew the new one. I also threw the wash bag on the table for me. Except for folding the quilt for me, there is no substantive service. Because the quilt cover is all my own (this tip can't be given).

A retro-style hotel. Pros: Good location, close to a metro station, bank, public services center, market, mobile store, and delicious food. Quiet courtyard. There's a water cooler. They ask daily if you need housekeeping. Cons: Bad mattress, the springs are very noticeable, even with a mattress topper. Poor breakfast. The only fresh vegetables are cucumbers. Eggplant and cauliflower are fried in batter. Sausages are cheap. The cheese is processed. For fruit, only apples, and they're bruised. Instant coffee. If you go at 8 AM, the food is fresher; later, it's reheated with added oil, eggs are quickly fried, and the whites remain runny. Lots of pastries, but they're not tasty. In a single room, there's only one cup. No kettle, and the water cooler doesn't have a hot water function. I chose this hotel because I had issues with another booking. I had to choose quickly, and options were limited during the holidays. The hotel offers discounts and bonuses, it seems like management is trying to attract guests. But it would be much better if management reviewed the menu and invested in updating the furniture. Upon check-in, you need to pay an additional tax amount. I paid cash, and they didn't have change. I had to ask for my change several times. They still didn't give me all of it back. So, be prepared with exact change. The hotel has a pool, but in my opinion, the water in it is murky. I didn't use it. And I didn't see it being cleaned. There are two sun loungers by the pool. However, there are large trees around, so sunbathing isn't really possible. Overall, my impression is a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't stay here again.
