"It was convenient to have a 24-hour front desk, allowing me to rest between flights. The bed was comfortable, though some might find it a bit firm. My room had a window facing a quiet courtyard, and there are also windowless options available. The breakfast was sufficient, offering porridge, eggs, vegetable salad, and various local pastries. On the downside, there was no water in the area, so I couldn't take a shower. I also wasn't able to request a late check-out. The neighborhood is pleasant, a quiet and green alley."

Extremely clean, super friendly staff, and a neat breakfast. The room has utensils, so you can easily prepare simple meals. Highly recommended! And thank you so much for the handwritten note.

The hotel is new, and the service is excellent, although the location is a bit far. The restaurant is great with excellent food. However, there were gnats in the room from the humidity, which kept me from sleeping and bit me all over.

A wonderful hotel. Everything was top-notch. The hotel is new, modern, and everything works perfectly. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious; soft, cozy slippers; an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer were all in the room. I especially want to highlight the excellent breakfasts – something for everyone. Delicate syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), oatmeal, very tasty fish, nuts, strawberries, raspberries, and freshly squeezed juices (carrot, orange, grapefruit, detox). There's a good, large fitness room with many machines, and yoga mats and blocks are available. It's a hotel I'd love to visit again. It's not budget-friendly, but we don't regret choosing it.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The room is exceptionally spacious, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's acceptable, and the cleanliness is good. The hotel has several Chinese staff members, so if you encounter any communication issues, you can always find someone to help. The breakfast is Chinese-style, which is a big plus for travelers who've been eating local cuisine. The Wi-Fi is also decent. Now for some downsides. Firstly, the room I stayed in this time was odd. There was a beam by the bed that was less than 1.7 meters high. This means if you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and forget about the low beam, you'll undoubtedly bump your head. I suggest they get a designer to reconfigure the room layout slightly. Secondly, there's no desk or chair in the room, making it impossible to work. Thirdly, the fourth floor frequently experiences water outages, while the first and second floors are fine, suggesting a water pressure issue. I had to go to the public restroom on B1 to use the toilet and wash up in the mornings. A Chinese tour guide complained to the front desk, stating this had been happening for two days and her guests wanted to check out and move rooms. The front desk staff just shrugged, saying there was nothing they could do. Finally, I stayed for several days, but at check-out, the small receipt only showed one day (even though I had been in the country for a week). The front desk claimed the system was down. I politely asked if they could provide an alternative document to prove I was registered, as I needed it for customs. I wasn't pushy, but the front desk staff seemed impatient and said they couldn't give me anything since the system was broken. Fortunately, there was a long queue at immigration when I left, and the border control didn't check.

Nice staff and excellent breakfast. As everywhere one should not expect a broad variety of diary products, but one is compensated by fresh vegetables and fruits. Rooms are spacious. Heating only by air condition.

The location is the best for me ( I do like this part of the city, the modern part) but the hotel itself the room is basic and you will have plenty of noise if you stay on the entrance level (despite I was on 2nd floor but any noise in the reception was coming to my room. The breakfast is fair but they're so slow to replenish and that's why I skipped having breakfast 2 out of 4 times. The most important that in the toilet they don't have (cleaning hose or tap) which you need to clean properly after toilet and that's why I will not stay there again. One more thing they have the hardest mattress i have ever had in a hotel so if you have back problems stay away

The room was okay, but I booked one with a balcony and got one without. I tried to sort it out through Trip.com, but they just kept saying there were no rooms available until, magically, one appeared in the end. 🙂

Pros: Close to the metro, markets are within walking distance, as well as a small shopping center with Safiya Cafe and other shops. Our triple room looked nice and luxurious from the outside. Bottled water, toothbrushes, and slippers are provided daily, and bed linen and towels are changed every day. There's a working hammam and a small pool. Breakfasts are mostly repetitive, though some items are occasionally swapped out. There's enough variety to choose from and you can certainly get a good meal. The bathroom has a good hairdryer and drying racks. There's also a small fridge and a kettle in the room. The large wardrobe has shelves on one side and hangers on the other. The hotel has an elevator. Cons: The room left a strange impression, but you get used to it. Specifically, the bathroom door handle was loose, and if you turn off the main light before leaving the room, you can't turn it back on from the hallway. You have to use the switch near the beds (and sometimes re-insert your key card multiple times). One of the bedside lamps didn't work. The hotel is next to some kind of bird enclosure, so you often hear roosters in the morning (it's not disruptive, just a fact if you sleep with the window open). The air conditioner is positioned to the side of the beds, near the pillows but higher up, so you can't sleep with it on at night as it blows directly in your face (just a fact: even at 16°C, it still felt a bit stuffy, even in March). The kettle doesn't turn off automatically; you have to unplug it or lift it off its base. When booking the hammam and pool, they tell you it will be exclusively yours for that time – but several times, two or three rooms ended up being booked for the same slot. Not a con, but a funny fact: during check-in, we weren't informed that the key cards need to be re-magnetized once a week, otherwise you can't get into your room. So when my key card didn't work, I had to go back down to find this out. They fix it quickly, though. Overall, it was a good experience :)

We were choosing between this hotel and the Uzbekistan hotel which is nearby! Friends were staying in Uzbekistan! One of the downsides in comparing these two hotels is that they charged a tourist tax, so the accommodation was more expensive! Breakfasts are more modest, again in comparison with the neighboring hotel, but the main thing is there, except... Coffee 😬 Only for a fee! There is some in Uzbekistan 🙏 But... Initially, the guys in Uzbekistan were put in a room where their windows were not only blown in, but were blown away by the wind! An extra bed for a child, they just threw in mattresses 🫣 Only after swearing and other things, they changed them to a room with renovations! This hotel doesn't have such a problem! The room is large, quite warm! Clean, tidy! Yes, the renovation is certainly not fresh, but it's not worn out either 🙏 In general, you can live! The price and quality match! Otherwise, if you want the Soviet era, welcome to Hotel Uzbekistan! And if not, then to La Grande! There is also a swimming pool, I think with the hotter weather it will be open!

A retro-style hotel. Pros: Good location, close to a metro station, bank, public services center, market, mobile store, and delicious food. Quiet courtyard. There's a water cooler. They ask daily if you need housekeeping. Cons: Bad mattress, the springs are very noticeable, even with a mattress topper. Poor breakfast. The only fresh vegetables are cucumbers. Eggplant and cauliflower are fried in batter. Sausages are cheap. The cheese is processed. For fruit, only apples, and they're bruised. Instant coffee. If you go at 8 AM, the food is fresher; later, it's reheated with added oil, eggs are quickly fried, and the whites remain runny. Lots of pastries, but they're not tasty. In a single room, there's only one cup. No kettle, and the water cooler doesn't have a hot water function. I chose this hotel because I had issues with another booking. I had to choose quickly, and options were limited during the holidays. The hotel offers discounts and bonuses, it seems like management is trying to attract guests. But it would be much better if management reviewed the menu and invested in updating the furniture. Upon check-in, you need to pay an additional tax amount. I paid cash, and they didn't have change. I had to ask for my change several times. They still didn't give me all of it back. So, be prepared with exact change. The hotel has a pool, but in my opinion, the water in it is murky. I didn't use it. And I didn't see it being cleaned. There are two sun loungers by the pool. However, there are large trees around, so sunbathing isn't really possible. Overall, my impression is a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't stay here again.
