Guest UserA wonderful hotel. Everything was top-notch. The hotel is new, modern, and everything works perfectly. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious; soft, cozy slippers; an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer were all in the room. I especially want to highlight the excellent breakfasts – something for everyone. Delicate syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), oatmeal, very tasty fish, nuts, strawberries, raspberries, and freshly squeezed juices (carrot, orange, grapefruit, detox). There's a good, large fitness room with many machines, and yoga mats and blocks are available. It's a hotel I'd love to visit again. It's not budget-friendly, but we don't regret choosing it.

Patrick BelfastThis hotel was excellent. Exceptionally clean rooms and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent and in particular the restaurant manager Elbek who not only gave me first class food and drinks recommendations but organised transport for part of my travel. I ate in the restaurant each night as the menu was extensive and he recommended food and drinks I hadn’t tried before which were superb, and consequently I recommend their eggplant salad. I will stay in this hotel again on my way back through Tashkent. Also the hotel is near a metro station which gives access to plenty of things to see in the city such as the famous Soviet-era metro stations. A short walk from the hotel is the main square where you will see the contrasting buildings of Soviet architecture.

Dear KateThe stay was very pleasant! Nice location, relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The staff was friendly! Good time at the swimming pool and the breakfast time consisted out of lovely selection of international and Chinese food.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel’s location is convenient while still offering a relaxing and quiet atmosphere—exactly what we were looking for to unwind.
One of the best parts of our stay was the staff. They were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our time there, which made everything feel easy and stress-free.
We also really enjoyed the facilities, especially the swimming pool. It was a great place to relax, and we had a wonderful time there during our downtime.
Breakfast was another highlight. The breakfast selection offered a lovely mix of international and Chinese options, so there was something for everyone. The variety and quality made mornings feel enjoyable rather than rushed.
Overall, it was a calming, well-rounded stay with great service, a peaceful environment, and enjoyable amenities—highly recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.

Guest UserNice staff and excellent breakfast. As everywhere one should not expect a broad variety of diary products, but one is compensated by fresh vegetables and fruits. Rooms are spacious. Heating only by air condition.

This hotel is located in a small alley, next to two other hotels. A large supermarket is just a short walk away, so the location is good. The hotel service is also quite good. The breakfast is excellent, and the room is clean and hygienic. The only drawback is that the bed is a bit small, but that's typical for beds in Central Asian countries.

Anonymous UserThe room was okay, but I booked one with a balcony and got one without. I tried to sort it out through Trip.com, but they just kept saying there were no rooms available until, magically, one appeared in the end. 🙂

lfo_12Pros: Close to the metro, markets are within walking distance, as well as a small shopping center with Safiya Cafe and other shops. Our triple room looked nice and luxurious from the outside. Bottled water, toothbrushes, and slippers are provided daily, and bed linen and towels are changed every day. There's a working hammam and a small pool. Breakfasts are mostly repetitive, though some items are occasionally swapped out. There's enough variety to choose from and you can certainly get a good meal. The bathroom has a good hairdryer and drying racks. There's also a small fridge and a kettle in the room. The large wardrobe has shelves on one side and hangers on the other. The hotel has an elevator.
Cons: The room left a strange impression, but you get used to it. Specifically, the bathroom door handle was loose, and if you turn off the main light before leaving the room, you can't turn it back on from the hallway. You have to use the switch near the beds (and sometimes re-insert your key card multiple times). One of the bedside lamps didn't work. The hotel is next to some kind of bird enclosure, so you often hear roosters in the morning (it's not disruptive, just a fact if you sleep with the window open). The air conditioner is positioned to the side of the beds, near the pillows but higher up, so you can't sleep with it on at night as it blows directly in your face (just a fact: even at 16°C, it still felt a bit stuffy, even in March). The kettle doesn't turn off automatically; you have to unplug it or lift it off its base. When booking the hammam and pool, they tell you it will be exclusively yours for that time – but several times, two or three rooms ended up being booked for the same slot.
Not a con, but a funny fact: during check-in, we weren't informed that the key cards need to be re-magnetized once a week, otherwise you can't get into your room. So when my key card didn't work, I had to go back down to find this out. They fix it quickly, though.
Overall, it was a good experience :)

The hotel is conveniently located, we only had 4 hours for the walk, but we saw quite a lot) the air conditioning works, tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room) we liked the breakfast, there were fruits, vegetables, and desserts) it was filling and delicious) it also turned out that the price included the pool, it's a pity we didn't have time to visit) shampoo, shower gel, comb, cap, dental kit, and even a sewing kit are provided) in general, even though we stayed only one night, we were satisfied) 😊

Nari.My stay at Retro Palace was a pleasant and memorable experience overall. The hotel offers a charming blend of classic design and modern comfort, making it a great choice for travelers who appreciate a unique atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to assist with any requests, which immediately created a positive first impression.
The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with a retro-inspired aesthetic that gave it a distinctive character. The bed was comfortable, and all essential amenities were provided, including reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a well-maintained bathroom. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the interior design, which added a cozy and stylish touch to the stay.
The location of Retro Palace is another strong advantage. It is conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without much hassle. Whether traveling for leisure or business, the accessibility of the hotel is definitely a plus.
In terms of facilities, the hotel provides everything needed for a comfortable stay. While it may not be a luxury property, it delivers excellent value for money. The common areas are well-kept, and the overall ambiance is relaxed and inviting. I also found the check-in and check-out process to be smooth and efficient.
One minor area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, which could benefit from a bit more variety. However, this did not significantly impact my overall experience, as there are many nearby dining options to explore.
Overall, I would highly recommend Retro Palace to travelers looking for a comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced accommodation. The combination of friendly service, convenient location, and unique design makes it a solid choice for anyone visiting the area. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
