"Pure delight, exceeding all expectations! I'd like to extend a huge thank you to the team at ”Crocus Plaza” Hotel for a fantastic stay. My sister and I stayed in a Deluxe room, and it was truly special – thanks to the reception staff for finding us a beautiful room with a stunning view and accommodating our request for a balcony. The thoughtful design, impeccable cleanliness, and incredible level of comfort created a feeling of complete privacy and luxury. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff attitude – it was genuinely top-notch. Every employee was welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about the guests. I'd like to acknowledge not only the regular staff but also the hotel management: it's clear there's an ideal management system in place, where every request is heard, and all issues are resolved promptly. The staff always goes the extra mile, creating a homely atmosphere within the stylish interiors. Breakfasts were delightful, with a wide variety and high quality of products. Additionally, we thoroughly enjoyed the spa area: the pool boasted crystal-clear water and a comfortable temperature. And, of course, I must mention the transfer service – it was simply superb! We were picked up and dropped off at the airport with the highest level of service: comfortable cars, punctual and courteous drivers, which made the journey incredibly easy and pleasant. ”Crocus Plaza” is a benchmark for hospitality. We will definitely be back and will recommend you to all our friends! Thank you for this flawless vacation! 🌟"

"Dirty towels, the shower water floods the entire bathroom, and the shower head is broken. There were strange worms in the water on the floor. People smoke in the rooms. There's dirty laundry and dishes scattered on the stairs on every floor. I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than one night."

"This was my third stay at this hotel. I was in room 616. I had a good room with a large sink and good bathroom. The room was very hot on the third night and the air con struggled as it was just too hot. It reached 45 degrees today so hot everywhere. The lobby area is cool and there is cold water to drink so you can stay cool. What I liked the most about this hotel is the centrality of it, you can get everywhere on the tube and lots of museums are close by. The centrality park in the square is lovely to sit and enjoy the city and take a picnic. I’ve been pretty detailed in my previous posts so you can view the images and suggested ideas for visits. The hotel had a lot of groups in while I was visiting. The breakfast areas were very busy in the morning but the hotel itself is very quiet and I had a great nights sleep on my whole stay. The staff are very helpful and considerate. They have a very good and safe left luggage which I used on my final day. I really enjoyed the cosmopolitan feel of this city hotel and I would definitely stay again next time I visit Tashkent! I’m uploading some images of the lobby and the markets I visited today. To escape the heat I had long rides on the subway and admired the art!"

"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It's a fantastic hotel located in a quiet neighborhood, boasting a cozy courtyard that hides three pools. As soon as we arrived, staff met us at the entrance and helped with our luggage. After completing the check-in formalities, we were shown to our room. The room was spotless and came with bottled water, replenished daily, along with toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, combs, and more. The air conditioning worked quietly even in the heat. Housekeeping was done daily. The next day, a buffet-style breakfast awaited us on the -1 floor. There was a rich selection, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruits – melon and watermelon. Within the hotel grounds, there are three pools: one outdoor in the sun, and two indoor. There's also a Hammam and a Finnish sauna. Our stay at this hotel was worth every soum. We absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tashkent. The location is very close to the road leading to the airport, a 7-minute taxi ride. The city bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance."

"1. Location It took about 15 minutes by taxi from Tashkent Airport to reach the hotel. I called a Yandex taxi at 11 PM and paid 37,000 som. 2. Facilities It was clean. The water pressure was good, and the air conditioning worked well. Of course, I saw about two mosquitoes, but after catching them, I didn't see any more. 3. Service They upgraded my room, so I got to sleep in a spacious bed. Breakfast didn't have a wide variety, but each item was good. In particular, I was happy to find watermelon and melon, which are hard to buy in small portions. 4. Other Although it's a bit far from downtown Tashkent, I think it was a good place to stay for a reasonable price."

"I was genuinely surprised by how well-equipped and clean the facilities were. It's on par with luxury hotels in Japan. The breakfast selection was also extensive. Having stayed hundreds of nights in various countries, I truly believe this is the best hotel in Asia for under $100 USD. While the location is slightly outside the city center, it's within walking distance of the South Railway Station and a subway station. Bus number 32 takes just 5 minutes, and minibus number 92 goes directly to the city center, so getting around is no problem at all. Above all, Diyora's hospitality was exceptional. She answered all my questions kindly in easy-to-understand English. It was a slight shame that the early morning transfer and lunch box I requested weren't properly communicated, but thanks to her, I had a fantastic two-night stay. Thank you!"

"The hotel is in need of renovation and updates. It's suitable for guests who aren't too particular. We stayed for one night, so it was fine. The breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. After checking out, we had some time to explore, so we left our luggage. When we returned to pick it up, they kindly offered us complimentary tea and coffee at their cafe. The location is quite good, not far from interesting spots like Seoul Moon and Magic City. A wonderful hotel. Everything was top-notch. The hotel is new, modern, and everything works perfectly. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious; soft, cozy slippers; an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer were all in the room. I especially want to highlight the excellent breakfasts – something for everyone. Delicate syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes), oatmeal, very tasty fish, nuts, strawberries, raspberries, and freshly squeezed juices (carrot, orange, grapefruit, detox). There's a good, large fitness room with many machines, and yoga mats and blocks are available. It's a hotel I'd love to visit again. It's not budget-friendly, but we don't regret choosing it.

This is the second time this summer I have stayed at this hotel and everything about it is excellent. From the reception area and the greeting I received to the room, restaurant and many other amenities. The staff around the reception area were always ready to help and very attentive in particular Doniyor who really made me feel that he was genuinely interested in making sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was, just like the last time, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable with an excellent shower. A cheap and efficient laundry service is available. The breakfast buffet was first class with an excellent selection of food. I also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and the restaurant food was wonderful. I ate all meals at the hotel over my two stays and I highly recommend it. Again the restaurant staff and in particular Elbek were very efficient and food recommendations were spot on. The hotel also offers a very well equipped gym, a sauna, steam room and pool free of charge for guests with a payable spa massage on request. I want to give a special mention to Malika, the young girl who owns small shop in the reception area selling beautiful hand made jewelry, rugs, scarves and other items. Almost everything is hand made and that which is not she clearly points it out. It is all very reasonably priced and I was very happy to buy several items from her.  I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would thoroughly recommend Swissotel Tashkent.  Finally if you are considering using Tashkent only as a stopover I would really recommend at least two nights and one full day as there are plenty of things to do including the metro stations, an outdoor train museum which was excellent, bazaars, a wonderful mosque and go take pictures of the Soviet-built Uzbekistan Hotel built in the Soviet Brutalist style with an Asian influence, absolutely beautiful and very different to the architecture found it Khiva etc. So I would advise, stay in Tashkent either at the start or end of your trip or both as I did and stay at the Swissotel. You will not regret it.

Overall, it was pretty good. Since it's newly renovated, there was still a slight smell in the evenings when we came back. The breakfast was excellent, but the rooms aren't cleaned daily; you have to request cleaning for it to happen. For daily water, you need to ask the front desk to get it replenished. The transportation is quite convenient too, with a subway station not far from the exit. All in all, it's worth recommending.

Recap of my stay. When I entered the rooms the materials were of high quality and the beds were soft. The lighting was decent but the TV was outdated. The bathtub was aesthetically pleasing but was extremely uncomfortable to lay in. Regarding the amenities; the pools were nice in theory but it was full of loud and obnoxious people. The rules on the wall say not to bring glassware in the pool yet there were countless people with beers in the water which is a bit of a safety concern with children running around everywhere. Staff was either not attentive or just selective on who to enforce rules upon. The executive lounge was fairly decent with their offering. The restaurant on the rooftop was not great on the other hand. Food was sub par and the cocktails were terrible to say the least. They had a small selection of both cocktails and maybe 2 or three hookah flavors. As for the staff the reception and security were nice. The problems are hidden above the elevator in the lobby. When going to the restaurant upstairs the hostess greeted me and directed me to the table. She asked me what language I wanted my menu and I said “English, thank you.” Then she hesitantly handed me the menu in English asked “Where are you from? We have other languages on the bottom.” I looked at the bottom and the three languages were English Russian and Chinese. The hint that I would be better suited with Chinese was unnecessary. I’m born and raised in America but of Korean descent. I walked in speaking with no accent compared to the hostess’s broken English. I am also grown enough to tell you my language of preference. If I ask for a menu in English I expect an English menu without a side of racial profiling to sour the evening. The second staff issue was when entering the executive lounge. We went for the evening hors d'oeuvres. There were a handful of people entering and leaving, but when we went to grab food and drinks, someone from the staff had stopped me and asked me “What room number are you in?” He didn’t approach or ask any other guests in the room. You can’t even enter the lounge without the appropriate keycard that allows access. The staff did an excellent job at profiling and making you feel unwelcome in every corner of the hotel. We were quiet and respectful guests. Not sure what the issue could have stemmed from. Overall my stay at the hotel was not bad but the staff spoiled the stay. It was par for the course for my trip in this country, with countless people shouting ni hao as I explored the city and taxi drivers becoming belligerent. You won’t find solace from ****** and ignorant behavior from even the staff at the most upscale hotels in the country. Disappointing to say the least. The Hilton in Tashkent and Uzbekistan itself has earned its rightful place on my “skip it” list.

The hotel isn't located in the heart of Tashkent, but it's close to the airport and high-speed rail station, about a 10-minute drive away. Surrounded by residential areas, it's relatively quiet at night. The room wasn't large, but it was clean and tidy. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and disposable toiletries were provided. We booked a room for one night – and that’s probably the maximum you can endure at this hotel. On the positive side, the room had heated floors in the bathroom, a wardrobe, a safe, a tasty breakfast in the morning, and panoramic windows in the dining area. That's where the good points end. The interior clearly needs renovation: the floor is worn laminate, which looks untidy. We booked a room that was 20-25 sq m, but in reality, it turned out to be about 15 sq m. But the main issue is cleanliness. In the bathroom, near the sink, there were dead insects on the wall. This isn't just unpleasant; it raises questions about the establishment's sanitary standards. Additionally, we were unpleasantly surprised by the headboard, which had dark stains, also indicating a lack of proper cleaning. If you're planning to stay here for several days, think carefully: the conditions, in my opinion, don't even meet basic standards. Also, a deposit equivalent to one night's stay is held upon booking and returned after check-out. The money is returned after a week, so don't expect to get it back the very next day.

Finding the hotel was challenging. Took me circumvate the entire train station twice when I finally called them for direction. Imagine the station is huge & with my luggages & crossing the security twice, even the security were clueless. The front desk lady was sweet & nice to walk out & directed me. That was a huge help. I think they should place clear signages. Check-In process was a nightmare. They couldn’t confirmed my booking even though I have shown the confirmed voucher online. After much deliberation they accepted my booking. Next come the payment. None of my cards was accepted even though i have been using them throughout my 2 weeks travel in Uzbekistan. They would not allow me to check in until full payment was made. Since I only have USD, they insist that I change at the nearest bank. A nice consolation was that a young front desk staff willingly to walk me to the hotel. All these took me around 2 stressful hours walking in & out & around. The hostel is very new. Super huge room, again brand new. Super clean. But I don’t understand why not a single basic amenities was provided; body soap or shampoo. The front desk however promptly provided upon request the following day. I believe most who stayed usually 1-night. The location was almost perfect, if only the hotel guests don’t need to keep going through the security scanning every each time both going in & out. Imagine I’m staying 3 nights. My advice please ensure you have local SOM for payment in case your card is not accepted. The hotel is on the left end of the station (if you exit from the train looking towards the building station) it’s better that you call them once you feel lost as the assist you the direction. Just be mindful that you need to go through the security scan every each time you enter & exit. However, if someone planning a train connection to other cities, this is 100% spot on recommended. I would like to commend on the front staff lady, Dildora for her professionalism & calm demeanour. Thank you.
